Ive been going there for a year now. I love the the place til yesterday. I have bought movie tickets to San Andreas and yesterdays weather was really, really bad. Everyone where my husband and I went was flooded cars were stranded in water many Routes were closed like 1&9 everyone we went there was traffic, floods and police. I had called them letting them know that I cannot make it to my scheduled movie time which was 5PM the phone just rang, and rang and sent me to some options I needed to speak to someone life to tell them that for the past hour Im trying to get to them but, due to the weather it was impossible. I know it said, after a certain time you cannot get a refund or change the movie time but, come on! the weather was really bad out there. So, after attempting for like the 10th time finally someone answered and I told him what was going. I asked him if I could get a refund because it was IMPOSSIBLE for us to make it there because a lot of places were flooded, the guy said,"NO, we could give you another movie time but, not your money back." Mind you this is already 5:15 5:30PM. He said, "That they had a 7:45 movie, that I had enough time to try to make it to get my time changed." at this time I was seen red and told my husband to lets try making it because they are NOT going to give me a refund. Rt 22 was flooded I saw that they had a 6:45PM movie and trying getting there through poodles, accidents etc. I was very disappointed on this theater for not understanding on how bad the roads were attempting to get there not to lose $30. I think when is a blizzard going and storm happening you guys should be more considerate about this. After the movie finished at 9PM or so the weather was still bad, it was still raining hard and a lot streets, routes were still flooded took us 2 hours to get home from a 30 minute ride. Thanks AMC Mountainside 10 for being so understanding when it gets to horrible weather and putting our lifes out there to make it to a movie on such weather.

Best theater I ever visited so far. The chairs are so spacious. When someone has to exited the isle you dont have to squirm and sit in a fetal position so that they can go thru without stepping on your toes. I would give them a 10 stars just for that alone. The theater and bathrooms are very clean. I never have seen it dirty. Best pricing around when it comes to the tickets. The food area can get crowded if you show up late and then think your about to see previews, its not going to happen. Learn to get there in time and stop blaming the theater for your tardiness. Its not a drive thru Mcdonalds people, food has to be cooked as you asked. Kids popcorn deal is the best even if you are not a kid. Upgrade the candy for a buck on the kids popcorn deal and your set for about $6 and change. The staff cleans up quick and are polite. Never do they request for tickets, so they do follow a trust method from the public. Its a drive from where Im from but so worth it. Also you are so not going to feel someone pushing at your chair with their feet unless that person is 67", thats how wide the distance from the chair in front of you is. Hope this review helped you out. Didnt like what the haters were saying, so it inspired me to seek justice and right a review. See you at the movies.

When you first walk in, you notice the popcorn, straws, etc. on the floor in the lobby. There are two lines, one for Premiere nembers and non-premiere members. Being a Stubs Premiere member isnt acknowledged by the staff at this facility. Whether trying to buy a ticket or standing in line to buy popcorn, youll wait for a while before the staff assists you. The Guest Services department lounges around (walked up to Guest Services, one guy sitting on the countertop, another one talking about his personal life to the one behind the counter) only 1 person is helping 15+ others with buying tickets. I should have spoke up because the poor girl at the register across from them was being bombarded with peoples negative comments about waiting on line too long. It is my fault for not approaching their staff with this dilemma. I gave this AMC location 3 stars because the seats are comfortable and the cleanliness inside the theater. I do have to say, watch out for the oher people that visit this AMC. They are ignorant and rude. Do be careful when visiting this location. If the wait time doesnt bother you, or the non-existent sense of help from the staff, then come enjoy watching a movie at this AMC.

Its so hard for me to give this theatre 2 stars because I am such a fan of AMC theatres and a Stubs Premier Member, but I must be truthful. The last few times Ive gone to this location, its been overcrowded, the concession area has been filthy. I understand that the crown dictates the cleanliness of a facility, however its managements responsibility to make sure they are properly staffed, especially during a Holiday weekend, in addition, I could hear the audio from one of the nearby theatres through the apparently "too thin walls" . Thats the bad part, the good part is that the actual Theatre (movie area) was very clean, the seats, although they dont recline are very comfortable, when ordering tickets online or at the ticket counter, you must pre-select your seats, so you know how close or how far you will be from the screen. Although the prices are sky high (which is to be expected for the movie theater nowadays ), The popcorn was fresh, all soft drinks and frozen drinks are self serve, which means free refills. If they were to clean up the concession and front lobby area, they may get 4 stars, the high concession prices will forever keep them below 5 stars. (See pics, I stand by my truth).

So, a lot of people dont understand reserved seating. Whether you realize it or not, its making your movie experience better. The theater doesnt oversell seats, everyone has their own spot that they choose themselves, and it makes buying tickets incredibly easy. To the folks complaining about not being able to get good seats because they cant go to the theater early in the day, its 2016...use the internet. To the old people who complain about the inconvenience of picking a seat, YOU are the inconvenience. You hold up the line because you dont stop bitching at the poor cashiers when all you have to do is pick a seat and sit in it. The seating chart is a very accurate depiction of the theater so its not like youre picking a spot and hoping its good. Im going to wager that the reason so many people think the reserved seating system is failing is because no one bothers to follow it, and I can guarantee that the people who dont follow the systems are the same ones that complain about it. Get a grip, yall. This is a great system and literally every theater, sporting, and concert event does it, yet they receive no such complaints. Stop whining and enjoy the privilege of picking your seat.
