Despite a tee time and an assurance that "you will be able to play right along" when we arrived on time there were multiple players on the first tee box. We were told we couldnt start off the back. Because of serious overbooking and taking walk-ons (despite our scheduled tee times), we had to wait on every single shot. There is no ranger to monitor play, so one foursome (or threesome) will cause the entire course to back up. When asked later, the starter said he sent people off at 7 minute intervals (industry standard is 9-10 minutes). It is clear that Royal Crest is doing everything they can to jam the most revenue out of their course that they can. This is unfortunate, it is very well maintained and used to be one of our favorites. Unfortunately, we will not return, and we do not recommend playing here on any afternoon unless you dont mind a seriously slow and unmonitored rate of play.

The layout of the course is nice. If you hit a long drive this is a very easy course to score. I was unsatisfied on the conditions of the greens. The practice green was in the shape that I would expect the rest of the greens to be in. That was not the case they never cleaned the dew off on them. On a perfect day it was like playing in the rain, but the practice greens were dew free. So they must understand the concept, but chose not to be productive and provide a nice experience for the golfers.

Okay course with a decent layout. My wife and I went there several times this year and no problems. In fair shape and greens get a a B- grade. Not too bad, but nothing to get excited about. Easy to walk. I thought the people there were very nice. Plays way longer from the blues on several holes and really makes it a different course. #7 from the other side of the little lake in particular.

Went with a friend for a round of 9 and were occasionally rushed by an employee who was following us in a golf cart (we walked the course). Combined with a course that, for lack of a better word, was soaked (it hadnt rained in over a week) I cant say Im overly eager to return to what was an otherwise beautiful and fun course.

Played this course on 10-1-16. This was the first nice day after 4 days of off and on rain. Despite all the rain the course was in 7/10 condition. Fairways were in good shape as were the greens. Staff was very friendly. Will be back.

Great course for the price. Nothing fancy or too challenging, so great for beginners/moderate players. Staff are friendly and helpful. Fairly well maintained for a semi-rural public course.

The womens tee boxes are impossible on this course. The ground is so hard on the red tees its rather annoying. Not worth the money if you play from the reds.
