Its a nice course. Ive been playing here about a year. The rates are mid level in price for the Reno-Carson area. Parking: There plenty of it and they dont allow golf carts in the parking lot so you can relax while navigating you way around. Facilities: You can have your wedding, reunion and repast here. They have an ample bar to satisfy your libation needs. The food is average at best. Golf Course: It is a nice course, its not easy and its not super hard either. You have to think in golf and there are several holes what will make one think like holes 4, 8, and 11. Speed is key on the greens. The driving range is adequate to get the job done. The have a large putting green and a chipping area. You can come here and work on your game. Crowds: Wolf run can get packed at times. There are corporate events here and plenty of members too (it seems). Regardless, come with a calm mind as its good for your game and necessary for the sheer number of golfers out on the course. Bottom Line: This is a must course if youre in Reno!

Out for our bi-annual trip with a group of guys. This is the second time we have played Wolf Run in the past year. This is the second time that the round was incredibly slow. We ran into 3 groups in the tee box by the 3rd hole and it never sped up the remainder of the round. Even after a twosome and a foursome dropped out in front of us (both got tired and frustrated by the slow pace), we still waited every hole, every shot. Worst round of golf (time wise) I have ever experienced (except the last time we played here a year ago). Really a shame, because the course itself is in good shape, Greens are slightly fast, but fair. I would never recommend anyone playing here due to the speed of play.

This course gets minimum maintenance. The sand traps are not good at all...they are hazards but really dont quality as sand traps by anyones standards. Its better to pick up your ball from the traps rather than trash your club on the rocky soil. The greens are OK and the layout is fine. If the course was well maintained it would be much nicer. Tee times arent firm. You can expect walk-ons to be crammed in front of you...so when making a tee time expect to start late. Also, pace of play is very slow. The clubhouse and parking are fine but nothing to get excited about. This is an OK golf course but you can get a better value for your dollar elsewhere. It is never my first choice to play.

Left the course after a very slow 2:45 9 holes waiting on every hole. Asked for a rain check to come back another day to play the back 9 when they arent so busy. We were told that 2:45 for 9 holes was on pace so no rain check. When we tried to explain that pace for a round of golf is 4:30, WE were accused of being rude. Will never play this course again. If you have 5 1/2 to 6 hours to play golf, no problem. But I dont and it is not enjoyable waiting on every shot.

Great course! Top 3 in Reno/Sparks. Not for high handicappers unless you like losing balls. Awesome layout, lots of elevation changes. The only thing is on some holes there is a lot of "ground under repair" areas, but at least its well marked. All in all very good course, just hope you dont get behind a slow group.

Great golf course but with very tough greens. Nice facilities, locker room is a bit small but very nice. Did not eat in the grill but the bartender attendant was very friendly and the place was better than average.

Played the course June 20. 103 degrees and no water on the course. Drinking fountain at restroom was useless. marshal finally caught up with us at number 16 and he had no water left.

Well maintained. When in doubt, putts break towards Reno. The greens were lightning fast the day we played. Extremely difficult for this 22 handicap fella.

Love the course. Not too hard. Love the gas powered carts. Disappointed that the driving range closes @ 7 especially in this heated summers.
