Kudos to Franklin Lakes. Very nicely set up and organized park overall. Monster carp swimming around my little kayak were unsettling but interesting to watch. Zuidema Septic needs to pump out the porta-potty more often however Used it Friday 05/29/15 and there were more floaters than blue goo in the tank.

Great walk on a trail, with two options to follow (markings on the trees). Very scenic, bathroom at the start. Few tables and benches at the start to have lunch or just relax and talk with someone at the base of the lake. About an hour walk, unless you stop along tbe way.

This is a great spot for walking and fishing and with Ramsey Outdoor store summer rentals for kayaks and SUP and canoes its fun to go out on the water. Their staff is very helpful and friendly.

Kayak rental guys monopolize boat ramp . Should be a separate area for them if they are running a business there. Other .than that not a bad place for kayak fishing.

Great for a short easy hike with kids and dogs. Parking can get a bit tricky when they are busy. In the summer they have kayak and canoe rentals on the reservoir

Nice place and perfect for dogs. Kayak rental is available. Fishing is also great so you can kayak fishing without your own kayak!
