EDIT: I was contacted by the owner of this escape room. She was very nice and assured me that this was an abnormal experience. She stated that the unfortunate mishap with the lock/latch caused me to miss out of some of the more advanced features. She has invited me back to make sure I receive the experience that they want to provide. I am very impressed with their customer service and drive to make sure the player has the best, most immersive experience possible. I am not sure when I will be able to return (from out of town), but definitely will soon. I have changed the review to 5 stars, for sheer above and beyond customer service. Im sure based on the owners enthusiasm for the business, I wont be disappointed as I am sure you wont either. The staff was nice. The tech and puzzles were middle of the road. There wasnt much technological integration in the room, mostly just combination locks. There was a tablet by the door, that Im still really not sure how it works into the game, other than obtaining clues. In the room I played(The Wild West), one of the most important locks was left unlocked when the room was reset, which lead to the room being cut short pretty tremendously (20+ mins left on the clock). All and all not terrible, I would give it a 5 out of 10. I found it to be a little pricey for the quality. I have played escape rooms in Florida, Georgia and Mississippi and this one was just about middle of the road.

Update: Call from the owner (how cool is that) and they have addressed concerns. I think Ill try the rooms over again and excited for it! Original post: Did Wild West first. Only two of us and we fell short. Loved the design and puzzle though. Still one of my favorite rooms. Tried Toy Room second. Well designed for four as there are essentially four stations that lead into the ultimate resolution. Problem one though: one of the puzzle clues requires placing objects according to colors and the clue paper made it very hard to decipher the colors... then there was one component that required (the same puzzle) where it then lights a code, but the lights werent working right which made the resolution impossible. I got Groupon with the intent to do Skinned Alive, but fine print apparently ruined that. Still looking forward to Diamond Heist and keeping the faith.

Did the Skinned Alive room with friends and family. Had a really great experience, the puzzles were very creative and fun to work. We made it out with 17 minutes left, but we did really feel challenged. It truly did take a team effort and we were all very impressed with the room. I will be back soon to participate in some of the other rooms that Ive read so many great things about. My only gripe was I wish the clues were delivered a better way, our game master practically just told us what to do, and it felt at times he wasnt watching or even paying attention. Other than that, was a great time.

Its a little difficult to find, as they havent got their sign up yet. We drove around for 10 minutes circling trying to find it! Its hidden! Lol. However, this place is wonderful and so much fun! We had so much fun solving the puzzles/cles. We had done something like this before, but this was more technology oriented. It was also more thrilling as many people must be involved at the very end of our particular room! So much fun! If we find ourselves in Clearwater again, we will be back! Thanks!

My company used them for a Team building event and they were awesome. The staff was friendly, attentive and super organized and very accommodating to our large group - we were a total of 30 and the fact that all of us were able to use the rooms at the same time was a plus. The experience was excellent, we are still taking about it, and the word has spread around the office. Escape rooms are not all the craze around these parts.

Wow! What a great experience. My husband and I tried Escape Thrill for the first time, and well definitely be back. The attention to detail and the use of technology was very impressive. We barely escaped the Skinned Alive room with 3 minutes, 21 seconds left!

This was my first escape challenge. Very tough but we got out with 1:43 remaining. Got charged for an extra person but they took care of it and gave me a refund. Excited to go back and try their new room when its available.

Excellent experience!! The hosts are really nice and the puzzles are very well designed. The escape rooms are very creative and really require teamwork to solve them. I highly recommend both diamond heist and skinned alive.

My favorite escape room in the bay area. Ive done the jewel heist and Skinned Alive and both were well done. Escape Trill utilizes technology nicely and the puzzles are clever.
