Whenever I get really high and go to the movies, this is the place. And, its super easy to buy a ticket for one movie and then see another without leaving, which I like to do. Just last week I saw Oblivion and The Place Beyond the Pines all in one price. I can also sneak in alcohol under my coat, which I always bring with me because it sucks to sit through 2 movies without an ample supply of liquid refreshment. The one thing I dont like about it is the staff. Like a couple of months back, this short lady got all up in my face and started talking about how she was gonna call the cops! I was all like, look, I dont like to go out to the lobby during a film, and I put my coat over my lap before I urinate into the extra large Coke cup (which I paid for!). But there are all of these up-tight Santana Row crusties wholl run to management at the first wisp of a little spillage on the seat. So I had to stay away for a couple of weeks, which was alright because my buddy was letting me crash at his place over in Fremont, and so I just went to movies over there. But this place is alright. Just try not to get on their bad side. I havent seen that little chick there for a while, so she may have left. Anyways, I just make sure I muffle it better when Im taking care of business during a movie, and I wait for some loud parts. Oh, and bring your own candy, too. Its super expensive there. But dont go overboard. This one time I managed to sneak in a 10-piece bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, but, once again some Santana Row yuppie got their panties all in a bunch and went and complained. I mean, I wasnt just gonna leave all of those bones on the floor--I was gonnna pick em up during the end credits! But, you know, some people just want to throw a fit over the smallest things. Anyways, hope to see you there!

Went to this thinking it would be really fun, however, not so much. Was greeted by a very rude ticket agent who didnt even crack a smile. Inside, the theater was poorly staffed so the clerk working the concessions had to greet us and take our ticket. She was really nice. The movie "Bon Jovi One Night Only" started 10 minutes late, had frequent interruptions by malfunctions of the software, and ended too soon so the finale song was interrupted by the lights in the theater turning on and commercials running on top of the movie. I was not offered a free ticket to see antother movie there but some girl came into the theater to apologize to us for the delay. I will not be going back to that theater.

Cinearts is the best movie theatre in the area. It has stadium seating...and you never stick to the floors. Ive always thought that they showed the best movies--some offbeat--and I hope that continues. However, since the dome theatres have closed on Winchester, it seems like theyre moving toward the same pap those theatres showed. Come on, Cinearts. Stop trying to cash in and appeal to a much wider audience and keep your integrity.. Continue to show movies like Le Weekend, Gloria, All is Lost, Fading Gigilo, Black Fish. There are other theatres that will pick up on the mainstream movies. Continue to do what youve been doing...dare to be different. Show the best.

I have been going to this theatre for about 4-5 years now, i love watching movies there, they have such good prices!! and their staff is so nice!! They have really comfy seats in every theatre, Ive seen over 50 movies there, and Ive bought over 1,000 tickets there! Its my favorite movie theatre in San Jose!! My family loves it, my friends love it, and I wont be suprised if you like this theatre too, i really hope you do!! IN FACT, I already bought tickets for a show tonight and tomorrow matinee!!

Unfortunately the only thing done correctly by the theatre was its location, and screen size. Saw the Force Awakens on New Years and the chairs are easily the most uncomfortable, short chairs Ive had the pleasure of enduring. The center rear speaker crackled and popped through the entirety of the movie. Not to mention the 15-20 minutes of advertisements and commercials, not just trailers, that delayed the showing. Would avoid at all costs.

Overall a solid theater. Nothing special, nothing fancy but it wins because its location right at Santana Row. You can come here to watch a movie and the grab a drink right after outside. They show the latest movies. If theres an event the place starts to get a bit messy though as they cant keep up with keeping restrooms and other facilities clean. Parking might also be slightly challenging during the rush hours, but its doable.

Our favorite theater, except when they have a big opening (example, one interesting a younger audience.) The staff cant handle this, and the refreshment area becomes a total mess. This area needs to be remodeled so there is not just one line. Also, the line outside can get very long (bad when standing in the rain) and there are not enough people selling tickets. Best to go there during the week or Sunday evening.

Theater seems nice. Came Saturday afternoon. All parking anywhere near the theater was full. Had to park in Valet and pay $7 + tip. Cleaning crew was late into theater. Had to wait until 20 min befor show time to get in theater. Asked management about parking and was told, yeah its a problem on weekends and evenings. My only response was to say " yeah, thats when the rest of us are off work."

A great local cinema! I live in Santana Row and I cant help coming back to this place to watch movies. Its clean, family friendly and most of the movies I want to see are usually shown here. Plus there are specific days when they only show Hollywood classics when you are sick and tired of the lack of creativity of nowadays movies. Do not forget to silence your phone while you are here!

If youre in the mood for a romantic date movie night, this movie theater is your best choice because you can get dinner at a nearby restaurant and then grab dessert or drinks afterwords. The theaters are on the smaller side but they are still state of the art with high quality sound and comfortable seating. One of my favorite neighborhood theaters

This particular one has only about 8 screens. As a result in a week where multiple big ticket movies are being released only one of them gets a showing here. If you live in Santana row, the convenience of walking to a movie overcomes most of the shortcomings. Keep in mind they also do not have an IMAX or a real D screen

Parking is usually available, but not right next to the building, youre normally in for a short walk. The seating is comfortable. The staff werent very helpful or friendly, somewhat disorganized. Good hot dogs with great condiments, but often you have to wait 10 to 20 minutes for them to cook one for you...odd.
