Im never going back this was my first visit to the Metro 8 and was told I could not purchase tickets because I have a child I was going to see All Eyez on Me and when I was told I couldnt purchase tickets because I have a child I felt like I was discriminated against so I asked for a manager when the manager gets there she repeats what the gentleman had told me I am a new mother this was my first time taking my baby to the movies and because I am a new mother I do not go out much I was really looking forward to date night with my man and my baby a couple behind me even asked why they couldnt sell me tickets and agreed that it was not right in the end I am very disappointed and the service here and will not be returning the manager did not offer me any other movies she did not say that I can watch any other movies she said because I have a baby with me she could not sell me any tickets I felt so discriminated against when I left worst theater ever.

My first impression was absolutely terrible. This was just a single employee that represented the facility very poorly and turned me away at the door (I was not acting inappropriately or unjust). I decided to try again at a later date. I was very surprised. Instead of being turned away in the first five minutes like my first visit, I was treated quite well from the customer service representative as well as the manager on duty. I ACTUALLY got to watch a movie the second time around. I very much enjoyed the experience without hassle like my first visit.. The facility is well kempt (a few stains on seats) but generally quite clean, organized, and comfortable. I now believe I will visit again if/as there is no more discrimination involved.

I hate this place! 1.Managers. Rude, greet with an attitude, manipulate you into thinking youre getting a deal then charge you before you allow it then say oops well nothing we can do now, they stare and make you uncomfortable, theyre so disrespectful and straight up ghetto! BY THE TIME YOU ARE ALLOWED THROUGH 15 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE HAS GONE BY!! NO REGUNDS! 2. Staff. Rude, disrespectful to the business and people, dont know any info, disgusting, THEY DONT USE ANY GLOVES WHEN SERVING FOOD OR PREPING IT!!! 3. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS DIRTY EVEN ON ITS SLOWEST DAYS!!! i have days where i just want popcorn but no movie. Well it turns out you have to be watching a movie to PURCHASE popcorn! No problem Ill spend my money else where.

Here is a real complain! It was little after 9:30 when the movie begin. It was not crowded at all. Once the movie begin the lights were kept on. I couldnt focus on the movie (Logan) because of it. So I left my seat and ask the young lady in the front desk to please turn off the lights. My exact words " hello, the lights are on the the movie just started, could you turn them off" - I couldnt have asked more polite (and with a smile). She said "okay". I went back to my seat, after asking twice for the light to be turned off. I left it as is.. And did not enjoy the movie! - I would have understood if the place was busy! But the place was a ghost town! - Never coming back again!

My family and I love going to Metro 8 Theatres because it"s close to all the stores , food courts , busses , schools , and a very good reason is that we feel at home . It"s perfect in price !!!! Good snacks !!!! Good deals !!!! All my family memories are there because we been going there since my last two chidren were born but , more or less before they were born thats about ; 16 years to 17 years ( beginning 1997 ) and still going........ Please enjoy these moments as I am with my children as , long as , you can before they grow up and go on with their lives...with their own families.

A skateboard is now a weapon... Live quite a distance away so I took my skateboard to get around easier, was denied entrance. They stated the skateboard was considered a weapon, and I asked if they can hold it and they said no. Basically people can literally walk inside with a concealed firearm, but not a skateboard or long board. I am Extremely, Disappointed, good thing Century at La Quinta were cool about it, they also have more comfortable seating and better quality sound and picture, completely worth the extra money since you are actually welcomed and know more about customer service.

could use some maintenance and cleaning up, decent prices but sometimes gets packed without warning, staff should warn customers when a theater gets full before they buy a ticket and end up having scramble for a seat in the dark, but other then that I love it, Ive taken many dates here best on sundays ($5 bucks per ticket) also please add at least a mirror in the bathrooms.

Personally i had bad experiences with their customer service there on how they talk tome and direct towards me their always rude,snappy and not helpful there i go there cause is closest to me then other theatre in the valley i think their customer service needs improvement and always takes forever to get popcorn n drink not many people working. Regal Cinema in Indio was nice but it lacks what many other theaters have to offer now a days like reserved seating, recliner seats, liquor, larger screens, in other words Regal Cinema in Indio has become outdated. One thing that is attractive is the pricing... $6.75 for any day/time of the week is not a bad deal. Overall, good!

Would be less stars but you cant complain at 6 something a ticket. The place shows its age with dated seats and a sound system that needs improvement but that is compared to an Imax theatre where youll be paying over twice as much. Go to this theatre if you are skeptical about a movie and dont want to risk a wasted 15 dollars.

5 stars for a cheap day at the movies. If you want your simple old school movie theater at discounted pricing. Here it is...but just know the popcorn will still cost you...& still for less than other movie theaters. I love how the locals still support their local theaters.

Comfiest theater. Went at late night showing, we were the only ones in the theater and felt like royalty. The seats practically turn into beds, so if you arent enjoying the movie, you can always take a nap!

This place every time I have gone, they never have anything ready hot gods, pizzas, than they say will take it to your seat in 5 min they take longer. Not good at all.
