Went to the Northtown Regal Cinemas last night to take my son on his first date to see Assassins Creed... Im terminally ill and dont go out very often but wanted to be a part of of this monumental moment in his life so me and my wife decided to make it a double date and go out with him... so I called ahead to the theater to make sure they have disabled seating available they informed they did and so we headed out... I was feeling pretty good last night so I decided to leave me wheelchair at home as I was going to be sitting down for the movie... when I arrived to purchase my tickets for the show I was informed that because I did not bring my wheelchair in with me I could not receive my tickets I kindly explained that I am permanently disabled with a terminal illness and that I needed a seat in the disabled row next to the exit... I was then informed by the ticket salesperson that I dont even look disabled and to buy other tickets or get out of line.... I was dumbfounded I could not believe what this person just said to me I pulled out my permanent disability identification card and showed it to her and then I walked off to be honest with tears in my eyes Ive never been so disrespected and hurt by someone like that.... as there was not enough time to go all the way home to get my wheelchair before the movie started we where forced to sit in the seats where I had to walk the stairs to get to them.... the movie was great the theater was clean the chairs where comfy.... but I would not recommend anyone go there the disregard for my feelings for my illness and the disrespect to tell me I dont appear disabled is awful I will be contacting local news sources to try and get this story out there further its just not right!!!

I go here but not nearly as often as the other chains in Spokane (AMC and Village Center) and there is a REASON. The concessions lines are TWICE the wait, and then you can so tell that those kids would rather be anywhere else than where they are. The theaters are in decent shap and have really good sound, the recliners are comfortable........but the service is hit and miss at best. Currently, they have the corridors ripped apart for renovations and there is no effor whatsoever to lessen the impact on the patrons. I am a Regal Crown member.....have been for years.........but have NO IDEA what the rewards are.....that speaks volumes right there. Also........if I am asked if I am a member, and I tell them yes, but I dont have my card...........most wont offer to look me up by my phone number..........and some are even annoyed when I suggest it. This place needs NEW MANAGEMENT. Staff will treat customers like the management treats them...........remember that when you get crappy service.........its the managers not the employees.

I would have given 4 stars because the bathroom walls are always dirty and that is not sanitary, but I gave it 5 stars because of all the people giving it low stars, because of one thing. Please , if you are going to rate a business rate it accordingly. Even though the bathroom walls gross me out, and random other things I want others who see the star rating to get an accurate idea about the place. The seats are amazing the picture is great, the theater for the most part, aside of the bathroom walls is clean, the consession prices are high but if they were lower they would have to raise the ticket prices, which would make it harder for people on fixed incomes to be able to enjoy going to the movies. I would prefer to eat first rather than not be able to go because the tickets are $30. I have never had a problem with the customer service but if I did I would still not give them 1 star, because thats not an accurate overall rating.

My bf and I were going to a 1030 movie we got there around 1040. When we got there we were discussing things. The lady rudely said "you need to pick now or just need to go because I am closing. So we were hustled into choosing and them a type of manager came in and was acting very snotty. You know how you pick seats in the front? Ours was taken. The ones we had to pick were dirty. My bf went to go get food and asked if he could buy something. The person said cash or card. He had cash. So the employee said she would ASK the manager to bring down the till. (Like our business didnt matter) we both chose to leave and asked to get a refund. Thankfully we had a good customer service manager be understanding and gave us two free tickets. Thank you for that. But jeez that place needs to learn of respect and customer service no matter the time. You have to be respecting no matter what.

Purchased 3 tickets for my kiddos and I. Apparently there is a glitch that can happen that it will change to the next day when you buy tickets for the day you want to go. But when you use the QR code it still lets you in the theater. So after buying $55.00 worth of food drink and goodies then sat at our seats someone had the same seats purchased. Little did I know that my tickets were for the next day. Embarrassed and not wanting to cause any trouble in front of my children i didnt do much and the manager basically said its my problem with no option to see another movie or a refund for the movie tickets and the goods we purchased. If there is any error either on my end or your systems when you use the the scanner for redemption it shouldnt let you in the theater and let you buy stuff etc...terrible experience unfortunately.

My theater going experience has always been great. I usually buy the tickets online just for added convenience. The employees are usually friendly and helpful. I had to work out Regal Club membership trouble at the customer service desk and they were extremely helpful. Now that there are recliner seats I have witnessed people taking wrong seats, unintentionally and intentionally and employees trying to get them to move (though it really isnt hard to figure out where you are supposed to sit, the rows and seats are marked). I aways get there early just to avoid those people. I dont eat theater food so I cant speak about the quality there.

Be very very careful if you go to the movies here! Their new seating system stinks big time. Unless you know in advance EXACTLY where you want to set and buy a ticket on line ahead of time; YOUR SCREWED!! More than likely you will have to sit in one of the first 3 rows and look almost straight up to see the movie. and being that close the sound is 1000 decidables. And if you ask to move because you dont like setting on the stage, SORRY! CANT ACCOMMODATE YOU!! Wont be going back to the Northtown Cinema again.

I liked the theater because it had really nice seats and it was clean. I went to watch starwars but got stuck sitting in the very front row 4 seats in from the right side. It really was the worst movie experience of my life. When the credits were rolling I moved back a couple rows and and saw that there is no reason to have seats that close to the screen. I felt like an amoeba on the corner of an ipad...this is a good place to watch a movie as long as you avoid the front two rows.
