I do not even know where to begin. How about the beginning. On 11/23/16 i booked a party for my 7yr old son for 12/17/16. I arrived at the location ON TIME and i was NOT greeted by the greeter. I stood in line to inform them that i had arrived for my sons party that i reserved. The party was suppose to start at 5pm. First i was told that they did not have a party reserved, so i pulled out my confirmation paperwork and then all of a sudden they found it. They told me to hold on. Then someone came to me and said I apologize but we do not have a host for your party. Now, Im on FIRE. How do you not have a host for my party that was booked 3 weeks in advance. After sitting for 38mins, someone finally came and got our sizes for bowling. We were moved to the bowling area and I had lanes 20-22. Lane 21 kept getting stuck, we called the tech over 5-6 times. I was then told that they have no party area for me and that i had to eat in the bowling area. There is no way i should have to eat in the bowling area when i reserved my area in person 3 weeks in advance. Some guy in leadership came to me and said well, we dont have a spot for you because you just booked your party friday. I pulled out my paperwork and showed him that i booked my party on 11/23/16, i did not book my party on friday. He then said i see it now, let me go find you a space. However, he NEVER returned. The hostess that i had, was overwhelmed and completely just walked away from my party. So a new hostess came over and her name was Keyasia and she did her very best to try to accomodate us and apologize for the mess. After that took place, we did the gravity ropes and upon returning to our area in the bowling area, there was another group trying to bowl. I was then told that my party has to move and find another place/area to sit. The question was, WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSE TO GO?! I paid money like everyone else did, reserved a space, and you have no space for me so i am not moving. They offered us another attraction, laser tag, but that still did not fix the situation at hand. Finally, they found me a table and moved us into the area, the time is now 715. My party was scheduled from 5-720p. We was told laser tag was starting at 730. When 730 came it was, now we have to wait until 745. 745 came, and we was told we have to wait until 830. So we sung HBD and had cake. 830 come and we was told 835. We go to the laser tag at 838, was told it last for about 15mins and was told at 846 our time was up. That was NOT 15mins. No manager would come to my area as i requested a manager/supervisor multiple times, so I took it upon myself and went to find a manager. I spoke with Lindsay, she apologized and informed me that she would add $10 extra to our fun cards. I also informed her that i wanted a refund 100%. She said she completely understands but she cant refund my deposit because Rachelle, the sales manager, would have to do it and she does not work weekends, but she will forward the info to her for a full refund of my $100. I paid a deposit to secure my area for a birthday party and i didnt even have an area. Next we do the fun cards. This should have been easy. Not! Some of our cards didnt work and the ones that did work only had $5 instead of $15. So i went back to the desk and Kenzie fixed that. But now, swiping the cards, they are not working at all. So she gave new cards all with $15 on them and i also had 2 unlimited cards. The new cards didnt even work. So i went back. She made new cards again, and in the mist, another managet walked up. I didnt get his name, but he was a black guy in a white button down shirt with glasses. He made me all new cards with 3hrs of play time on them. Those worked with no problem. My sons party was ruined, he was crying and said he didnt have a good time because of all the mess that was going on. I am NOT a happy customer.

I walked in with a few of my friends today (Saturday) for the first time wanting to play some games and just hang out. First impression was that it looked very nice and there were 2 people (man and a woman) standing up-front greeting people. The woman gave us a brief but helpful description of where everything is and what the place has. The first thing that threw me off was when she said they have Gravity Ropes because on Main Events website it doesnt show that location having them. After looking around we saw that bowling was $36 per hour and that didnt even include the shoe pricing!!! Thats absolutely insane and means that for 2 adults its roughly $47 to bowl for one hour, Ive never seen bowling that expensive. We looked around at the arcade games and I was almost dropping my jaw at the prices. Every single game we saw was $1.50-$3.00 PER PLAY!!! $1.50 to play one arcade game one time. You can drive 10-15 minutes further to The Web on Cincinnati Dayton Road and make your money last twice as long and play 2-3 times as many games for the same amount of money. They had no information on whether or not they have better sales on certain days but without a pretty significant discount you better be walking in there with a big wad of cash to blow. There also werent any signs or info on how to even start playing the games, we eventually figured out that there are kiosks on the side of a counter that you can purchase a game card from. All in all, its a clean facility and the workers seem helpful and courteous but the prices are absolutely outrageous compared to nearby competitors. I was really excited to come due to the fact that Im a big entertainment enthusiast but I wont be visiting another Main Event unless they lower their prices significantly. It doesnt make sense for me to come here when I can do the same things (bowl/laser tag) and play a lot of the same games for a lot cheaper price.

My first and only time visiting Main Event was horrible. When we first arrived, there was a very short line , which was nice, however, the attendant was a bit confused on how to start our bowling game so it took 20 minutes just to start… we asked if we could order food and the attendant informed us that someone would come our lane and get our food and beverage order. I saw servers, and they saw me but no one stopped to take our order… this was after we’d bowled 1 complete game!! I had to stop someone and ask if we could put in an order. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The servers excuse was “ Oh, I didn’t realize no one had been to get your order”… at this point I was ready to walk out but my husband said to let it go and just try to enjoy myself…. Once we finished our 2nd bowling game, finished our food, put our bowling balls in our bags, and jackets on, no one bothered to give us a check …. We sat and watched servers walk right by us and didn’t bother to help us out at all… I went to get a manager and was told “I’ll get your server for you” I then replied “no, I’d like a manager” and the guy pretty much waved me off and went and got my server anyway!!!.... when the server rang us out, she never gave me back my credit card.. once I noticed I didn’t have it, I went back into Main Even to find MY CREDIT CARD FACE UP ON ONE OF THE TERMINALS FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!! …I drove all the way from Dayton to spend a total of $155 on bowling, food, games just to be met with piss poor service! When I called to express my concerns, I had to leave a voicemail… It has been WEEKS! And I have still not heard back from anyone at Main Event in West Chester!... I am NOT pleased and I will make sure to alert everyone who plans on going there anytime soon!
