Zero star would be proper. Last night It took over one hour wait to have a stucked slot machine attended. Finally - slowly walking and entertaining a security guard - the female floor manager (Ms. Vanessa, the name was given to me by a colleague supervisor) arrived. I was asked (very unfriendly) "which machine" (it was obvious, the light on top of the machine was flashing), then "whats wrong"? The slot machine screen showed "Money tray removed - Call Attendend)....My disappointment began to rise more and more after the young lady started to smile at me like I would be a helpless, retarded man. By asking, why she smiles that way, she pointing out "smiling is her job". Which might be true in many other situations, but for sure not in this one. Final thoughts and conclusion on this issue: Me and my family members visited this casino location very often. But for me and my wife, it was for sure the last time we came here, we dont need this kind of attitude. There are several more options to play in the valley, with much better educated, trained and more helpful employees.

Today, November 3, 2014, my husband and I went to this casino because what we saw on their website. It said Mondays Seniors day, breakfast was from four items $2.99. Then we were told that offer was no longer six months ago. Now wait I just got the information off my computer Sunday. Manager was called over and she said no, the meal was $3.29 and no specials as of many months ago. Now we are looking at .29 per person, no problem, but the attitude we got from her was we were not telling the truth and there was nothing she could do. We ordered biscuits and gravy both and the biscuits were not even cooked thru.. We recommend seniors or anyone go there for any kind of service in their resturants. We will pass this on to Thousand Trails campground as we go on. Word of mouth can hurt businesses.

Ive only been to this Casino once with my day two years ago and we really liked it. We frequent Tortoise Rock Casino on occasion since we live in Twentynine Palms and that Casino is not bad. To the owners of Spotlight 29 and the sister Casino Tortoise Rock yall are ok in my books. Only one problem with Tortoise Rock and ive read some of the reviews is that the slot machine section near Oasis Grill should be a non smoking section and the slot area near the cash cage should be the smoking section reason Im saying this is because there are people who eat at the Oasis Grill and they dont like somebody sitting at a slot machine smoking a cigarette next to the table where thier eating and I feel the same way. Im not trying to tell yall what to do its just a friendly suggestion thats all.

Astheticly pleasing, but bogus advertising. Or operating anyway. I got off the interstate which Im rarely through to take advantage of their sign-up. A significant amount was advertised. It apparently does not apply though unless you come during the hours they are OPEN. Yes it is 24 hours. But apparently the players club customer service windows close between 12-8 A.M. So I got off the interstate and hiked in for pretty much nothing. More than happy to spend my money but not in a place that cannot make good on their sign-up bonus. I will not likely be back. If a casino is open 24 hrs then all services save the restaurants need to function to some level. I see management responds to praise but rarely dissolution. So I dont really expect an answer Im afraid. :(

Went to Brenton Woods Love Jam last night. I couldnt even rate the concert because the whole experience was horrible. From the ushers not even knowing what section, or seats to direct people to, to the customers themselves who were more interested in having private LOUD conversations with each other and on their phones!! How many times do people need to get up and have another cocktail? It was more like an evening at a dance club (not a good one a trashy mobile park rec center). If people in flip flops, shorts, and tank tops spilling drinks all over you is your idea of fun, this is your place. I felt sorry for the performers Atlantic Star, Peaches & Herb, Rose Royce, GQ, they all deserved a little more respect.We had to leave before seeing The Gap Band.

Dont recommend..this place should close down and start over, there is nothing Spotlight about this place....This place is sad and depressing...I saw a few homeless people in the area..I give them some change, says they lost all the money in the casino!! Why must the tribal indians invest in the gambling casinos?? Are ther not, other businesses that are profitable?? Honestly gambling casinos ruins..some peoples lives, they become addicted..plus you guys are 24hours..which makes it even worse!! Anyone, thats a regular in any of these casinos have bad luck, and lousy relationships, due to gambling addictions. Plus the money giveaways are fake! All my reviews are accurate and true..see for yourself..thanks you

Never heard of this place before until my wife mentioned that Keith Sweat was playing there. Keith Sweat was awesome but the service at the bar SUCKED. It took ten minutes for the bartender to serve us after waving him down. He finally helped us by saying that another bartender was coming. After another five minutes past a woman manager came and was rude. We finally got our drinks and there was at least five other people waiting with us. Note this was during their happy hour and they only had one bartender... Bad management. This place is cool but that woman manager NEEDS TO GO. I would go back because my wife won $200 on the slots

I have there highest rated club card which means I spend a lot of money there I mean a lot and then my car was stolen from there and there could care less did nothing at all to help even physically harassed me because I was very upset I broke a bottle and kicked a trashcan and instantly about ten guards were on me almost broke my arm acussed me of having weapons and drug needles and said they had me on video but dont have any video of my car being stolen right under there cameras and about twenty feet from the entrance they are the biggest criminals in the valley

Its most like a Vegas Casino...in looks at least... compared to any other in the Valley. But they have a terrible players club, and not so good Video Poker Percentages. (Double Double Bonus is 8/5/4 across all denominations all thru the entire casino - u vid poker players SHOULD know thats pretty strange!) They like to control the parking lots a lot too, which is uncomfortable with strange fences and crap. Still, the 2nd best of the 5 in the valley LATELY, used to be the last place in my book, so things are looking up!!) Decent eating Choices by the way.

Friendly employees, clean, food at buffet is great, every day of the week. Monday is bbq, Tuesday & Thurs is all different cuisine, Wednesday is Mexican, Friday & Saturday are seafood days with an added option of all you can eat lobster tails with extra cost of $7.99, & Sunday is all cuisine. Prime rib is served every evening, which is the best, tender, taste the prime beef! The very best mashed potatoes! Salad bar & fresh fruit bar. Desserts, regular & sugar free. Soft serve Ice cream, & the very best coffee of any place in this valley!
