Just some background about me first, I eat out on Holidays, mainly Brunch, or buffet dinners. I was totally excited to try Perona Farms for Easter. First I was a little disappointed because I had to have the last seating due to the size of my party, eight people. I wasnt happy, but tried to see the bright side like not having to rush our food. Well it starts with me getting there for 5:00 pm, and not getting our seats until 5:40 pm! While I did like the room they put us in, it was a long walk to the food. The other thing that drove me nuts is the person in charge of setting up the food areas! Never in all my years was getting food at a buffet this chaotic, at least for me! And the arrangement made absolutely no sense at all, deserts were with the carving station! It was quite odd! When we arrived at our table we started with Holiday drinks. They were cute with a marshmallow peep on this tiny glass for $9.00, Now the peep wasnt as cute anymore for the price we had to pay!!! Now the food. Let me start with the positives, before the negatives! The prime rib was excellent, as was the pork loin and the mashed potatoes! The mushroom soup was the best I have ever eaten! Now the rest, I dont eat seafood of any kind, so I cant honestly say how it was. My friends did say the shrimp was great. The penne bolognese was so cold and watery, with an absolute bland taste! The ham that my daughter was waiting for looked like boiled ham you would buy at the deli counter, and covered with pineapple sauce so you wouldnt notice! It even tasted bland! Now let me refresh you with the fact that this was a buffet, so technically we served ourselves, so tell me why they have the audacity to remind you of what you SHOULD give as a tip! My bill was $500.33, and they wanted $75.00 as a tip! For what really? I guess so they can share it among the staff that gave up their Easter holiday? I am normally a good tipper, 20%, but 90% of the time the plates werent moved off the table, she rarely came back to see if we wanted more expensive drinks! They could not even throw in the soda for the kids in the $49.99 per person price they charge for the buffet!! I know I am stubborn, but I will never return to Perona Farms, period! And I will tell all my friends not to bother either! Thanks Perona Farms, you ruined my Easter 2016 Holiday, and I hate the fact that this was my idea to go here, and that my pregnant daughter drove 2 hours to get to this horrible mess!!!!

We just had my daughters wedding at Perona Farms this past weekend and I can honestly say that it was a wonderful experience! Jonathan Harris worked with us ever since we booked over a year and a half ago and was always willing to answer our questions about our plans. Our maitre d Becky was very patient and attentive to our every need both at the rehearsal and the wedding day. We were worried about thunderstorms and were assured that the decision to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside didnt have to be made until 30 minutes before the wedding so that calmed my daughters fears. We were all put at ease by the staff! Luckily, the sun shone and it was wonderful outside in the Piazza with the birds chirping as the vows were made. The girls in the bridal party were brought bottles of champagne up in the bridal suite without our asking (we just asked for water but this was a really nice surprise for them) so they had their own private toast and the entire staff helped us if we had any questions during the reception. The food was awesome and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Also, Danny C the DJ and Floral Gallery florist which were recommended by Perona Farms, were excellent! Were so glad our daughters wedding reception was at Perona Farms and we highly recommend it to other engaged couples for their wedding!! Thanks so much!!

I dont know where to begin. Our wedding day was the absolute best day of our lives so far. From the first tour and selecting a date to planning our menu, decorations and so much more - the Perona team helped make it easy every step of the way. The tools they provide truly help any bride stay organized...making it much easier for all! We went with a lot of the recommended vendors through Perona and I am SO GLAD we did - they know what theyre doing! The Perona team is professional, experienced, fun, thoughtful and incredibly helpful from start to finish. Marley was phenomenal helping us make our wedding dreams reality and Kevin was nothing short of AMAZING on our wedding day. He was so cool, calm and collected all night which was reflected in the high level of service we received. His team of servers were simply amazing, one even stopped me to give me a glass of water, plate of food and told me I looked stunning! We had our reception in the barn and our wedding guests were talking all night about how magical our evening was. Thank you Marley, Kevin and Perona Farms for being absolutely amazing and giving us the wedding of a lifetime!! Well be back for brunch and donuts, no worries ;)

Excellent place for a wedding! Our son and daughter-in-law were married there a few weeks ago and so many who attended said what a wonderful time it was--the food was delicious and the servers went out of their way to help in any way they could! We found the same level of service and delicious food when we attended the Sunday bruncheon for a food tasting for the reception. Our daughter-in-law also said they were excellent with communication in the months leading up to the wedding. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a great variety of good food ranging from breakfast waffles and eggs as well as a variety of hot dishes on our visit this month to the bruncheon(an extended brunch) It was hard to limit how many different things one took. Very crowded early on a Sunday afternoon, the room was pretty noisy and the wait staff was not as attentive as it should have been bringing coffee long after it was ordered.

Lovely outdoor wedding. Food was different. Good flavor. Interior of the main house left something to be desired. The way the room is shaped there are alcoves with a few tables in each. If you saw the room empty or for a smaller event You would most likely not recognize it. You do not feel like part of the event. Air flow is limited in these also and the windows do not open.

Attended a wedding here. They have a barn, with 2 levels, where the bottom floor is used for cocktail party, and upper floor for entree, dancing, etc. Very quaint and enjoyable for approximately 150. Lighting on 2nd floor changes regularly, which is nice. Very tall ceiling, and attended on day where it was extremely hot outside, but inside was very pleasant and enjoyable

My Daughter got married in the barn yesterday and it was wonderful from start to finish. Our maitred Kevin was so great. Everything ran smoothly-the food was delicious and the staff worked like a well oiled machine. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it highly. Everything is so much easier when its done right.
