Im 65 years young and went by myself on two different days. I saw Passengers and Fences. I wanted to check it out before bringing friends. I went to the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. movie. Everything went well the employees were very curious. I really noticed the movie screen quality. The movie screens seemed to have a sharper, clearer look to them and better lighting behind the screens than in other theaters. The chairs were great. I think more seniors would go there if they had a special price like the $5 on Tuesday special at the Marcus theater in Orland Park. I liked the toilet seat covers for the toilets. I think they need to hire someone to continually clean the bathrooms and only the bathrooms no other duties, that would cut down on complaints and leave the customers with a good feeling about the theater. I dont like to sit by people, because i really get into the movie and dont want to be disturbed. Selecting your seat on the touch screen is great. Ill post again signing off for now.

Me and my family been going to this Theater since 2008 Due to the fact that it was very close in the area and shopping stores near by Before they remodel the theater it was horrible ceilings was open,dirty rug,stain seats..etc Its also very easy to bring chips,candy snacks into this AMC due to the fact that they don`t check your bags To this day you can even go into a different movie after your movie is done with due to the fact that they don`t be watching hard enough Lol (Don`t Come from me) lf you get caught doing that during the new remodel it was making it very hard to find the snack stand and number on the tickets on the wall after everything was finish i walked in this theater wide eye i was so shock everything was really update the seats.touch ticket screen,bar,and touch drink machine,the washroom i could not believe my eyes but yea i do recommend people to go here its not a long drive and chill theater and respectful workers my honest opinion Check it out you would love it

My friend and I got there early. They were playing previews with only sound and no picture. I asked and they said thats normal. Then the movie starts, and you know instantly that most every speaker in the theater is blown out. When there was any bass, it sounded like the wall was going to come down. Not the kind of bass that impresses your date. The kind of bass that sounds like a broken muffler. The rattling was so loud you could not hear the actors voices. I asked them to improve the sound, and they tried. But only made it worse. There was a loud buzzing similar to the buzzing you hear when your laundry dryer load is done. But imagine that in your ear for the entire movie. The employees were polite, but not polite enough to sit through a movie with an expired sound system. Dont go to this theater. It will give you a headache.

We decided to see "The Purge" last minute. We arrived and sat all the way in the back; a couple arrived later and sat next to us. The couple continuously talked throughout the movie. We only made it through about 20 minutes of the movie before I politely asked the couple to refrain from talking. After a nasty response from the woman, I left the theater and spoke to the manager. The manager asked me to show her who the couple was. She walked in and walked right out of the theater. She said she can give us re-admit passes. I have been to other AMC Theaters where people were asked to move and escorted out for being disruptive. Since the couple was of the same race as the manager, she did absolutely nothing. Incompetent and ineffective managerial skills. This theater is ghetto! Dont waste your money!

Wow..They have turned this theater around! I havent been here in years because it was old, dirty, and run down. Definitely needed a make over. My mother went there with some friends and she couldnt stop raving about well they remolded the place and how she loved the red leather lazy boy seats that recline all the way back. I thought she was exaggerating until I went there myself! I was utterly impressed. The place was clean, modern, and the seats are a wonderful. Im 6 5, so normally I have a hard time stretching my legs, but I had no problem doing that in these chairs. I could recline all the way back and someone could still walk in front of me. Talk about room and comfort!.. I will definitely be back!!

They did a terrific job of updating this theater. If you have not been in a while, do yourself a favor and go. It is not only safe but modern with the addition of the reclining seats and the bar where you can get an adult beverage to enjoy prior to your movie or while viewing. Also, their popcorn is fresh and they have expanded beverage and food options. I am so glad that I no longer have to travel far out for a nice theater because this one is in my backyard. Erase any negative memories you may have of AMC Ford City 14 because this newly refurbished theater will exceed all of your expectations. Happy movie watching.

this was the worst visit ever... the attendant name Ms. Smiley was rude and short. im from michigan and we came HERE foe spring break decided to see a movie. after buying a tickets 41.00 the greeter rudly stated "you cant come in till 30 minutes before the movie starts" i was thrown aback at the shortness. i stated we cant stand im the bar area ? she repeated "you cant come i n till 30 minutes before the movie starts" . i asked for a manager ms. smiley and her manager was very short as well. never once apologizing. and did not care that we were from out of town. Customer service here sucks.. not worth ur money.

Josiah has a nasty attitude. Josiah proceeded to insult my intelligence when I questioned him about an offer I received on my rewards card. He told me that people who know how to read dont have this problem. Josiah has a big nasty attitude and does not know how to do his job and lacks customer service skills. I guess amc was given out management positions they day he applied. I will not be returning back to Ford City Theater. I will keep my money and ford city amc can keep Josiah and his Big Nasty Unprofessional Rude Uneducated Bad Attitude as ford city amc watch their customers disappear.

I havent been here since the movie "Enemy of the State" premied. There were 6 men who decided to climb onto the screen, security did nothing, then a nosy tough guy decided to take matters into his own hands and got stomped by the 6 men, and again security did nothing. Then I tried to return a few years later (batman begins) there were 3 men smoking weed in the restroom, one had a 40. Security did nothing.

Chicago onions

It was horrible the lines were in halt because the porch monkeys were fighting outside and inside the movie theater. Everything went bad security couldnt control the zoo animals so they had to call the city police and animal control they should but them in a zoo cause they act like animals . not even animals atleast they have some respect to themselves there savages put them down of their useless lifes.
