2nd Update: I responded to Mr. Cooks email about 6/15/2017 offering to reestablish a tee time for our group of 16, giving them phone numbers to call and set it up. No call, no email response, which is typical of Cooks Creek appreciation for the customer. Probably since I had updated this post to 4 stars, they were satisfied with the outcome. If you read this Mr. Cook, please kindly remove ALL contact information from your computers and do not bother to contact me. I, nor the other 15 members of my group have any interest in Cooks Creek. And oh by the way.. that is just the Saturday group. We all have other groups we play with... so that is not just 16.. it is 16X4X??? can you do yer gozintas? Update: I received a call from Mr. Jim Cook directly, and we discussed the unfortunate situation that occurred at length. Mr. Cook is anxious to make things right and very sincere. My turn to schedule our traveling league doesnt come around again for a couple months, but I will call Mr. Cook when that times comes, and add another update after the round. Only one star because you cant leave no stars. I was excited to play Cooks Creek since the Cook family bought it back. Made 4 tee times to accommodate my larger group. When i reserved the date, the rates listed and quoted were $31.50. Its the rate still stated on the website. But, when i called to reconfirm, I discovered they had raised the rates to $44.95 and would not honor the rates given when I made the reservation.

Third time playing here this year hear. Roads and cart paths need a lot of work! Traps and water hazards in poor shape. Staff member running the pro shop very rude. He came out when we were on our sixteenth hole and said "You need to finish this hole and leave because its 5:00 and I only get paid till 5." Ive played this course two to three times a year for several years. NEVER MORE!!! I drove 75 miles to celebrate my sons birthday with a round of golf and got asked to leave. 5:00 REALLY? I will never be back and will let everyone know why.

Played 6/1/16. 95% of the bunkers in terrible condition. First 3 or 4 greens have damage to them (appears to be from a malfunctioning mower) but are puttable. Rest the greens are in very good shape. The tee markers are a mystery; the colors do not match what is on the scorecard or the markers at each tee box. Signage is not great; if you have not played this course before you could have trouble finding a few of the tee boxes you should be at. I give them a 3 out of 5 since youre supposed to stay out of bunkers anyway.

The Cook family now owns and operates Cooks Creek Golf Club. We have put a lot of effort and money back into the playing areas. The greens are some of the best in central Ohio. The elevated tee boxes and wide fairways makes this course very unique. No two holes are the same and there are no homes. Escape the monotony of city limit golf and play our course. 5 holes run parallel to the river and a patio that over looks the lake. We are great for weddings too!

This is one of my favorite golf courses to play. Especially now that the Cook family owns it again. You can tell they are putting in a lot of money and hard work to get the course back to prestigious shape like it once was. I have played golf all over Ohio for years, and their greens are the nicest greens I have putted on. You wont be disappointed playing a round at Cooks Creek.

My favorite place to play golf anywhere in the Columbus area, as Ive probably have played every course within 100 miles. This is a true escape from the city! Every hole has water seemingly, challenging, as well as being beautifully kept and designed. I will always recommended Cooks Creek to any golfer. Without a doubt best deal in town!

Went for a golf outing so I cannot speak to price value however the course itself is excellent. Very good shape. A nice course for a skill levels in my opinion due to wide fairways and large greens and lots of tee options. Staff is very friendly. I would happily play here again.

Fun layout. The course was in OK shape. A few of the front 9 greens had burnt streaks from a mower leak but the rest of the greens were good. It also helps that we had a $10 deal. I hope to get back next season.

Played 8/2/17 Played at Cooks Creek two years ago and it was a mess. Glad the Cook family bought it back. Course is in great shape and expect it to only get better

Waste of time. They doubled booked so the place was slammed. Had to wait 30 mins for a golf cart. 4 groups playing the same hole. Ray, never book that place again

One of my favorite golf courses. Its so different than the traditional flat golf courses in Ohio. It actually has hills
