My husband grew up in Wamego, so I had heard about Oz Winery. Earlier this year, my husband and I had planned to have our wedding at a winery in northeastern Kansas and also have them print special labels for wine bottles to give to guests, but when the winery backed out of our wedding agreement I went to Oz Winery to see if they could make special labels for us on their own wine bottles. The manager there, Brooke, was absolutely amazing. She and I communicated constantly on the weeks leading up to my wedding about how we wanted the bottles to look. She even worked with me on prices when my original order was a bit over budget. The labels and the wine turned out to be so, so, so fantastic. All of my guests loved them and now well have a keepsake from our wedding to remember the day forever. We couldnt have done it without the help of Brooke and Oz Winery!

So as a disclaimer, Wizard of Oz is a childhood favorite. The movie was one I had to watch two if not three times a day. Needless to say, my folks got tired of it. So not only did I throughly enjoy the theme of the winery but the wines themselves exceeded expectations! Weither its just to pop in for a tasting, or you treat yourself with the full experience of the food pairing (in which I did and the customer service was fantastic), and weither or not you are a die hard fan of franchise, you will be full of chuckles of each name of the bottles. Oh and the meatballs, delicious with every bite!

This is a fun and enjoyable place! The atmosphere is awesome but also so is there customer service. I was planning a surprise visit for my boyfriend so I had a few question. Theyre great with responding quickly to emails and addressing any questions or concerns. When we arrived (an hour 1.5 early), the staff was so welcoming and actually excited we showed up so early. That gave us more time to enjoy everything. The wine selection is nice and everything is tasty. I will visit again but Ill also be ordering the squished witch online.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, took the time to ask about our preferences before suggesting wines. Each person 21 & over gets 2 one oz tastes of wine. We ordered a flight of 2 oz of each of 5 wines so that we could try a few more. We also had some local cheese and some candy, had a nice relaxing time enjoying the food, wine and atmosphere. The wine was very good, and we took home 3 bottles.

Cute themed winery! They have very creative labels, and the wine was good too. They have a large variety of wines, from sweets to dry; reds, blushes and whites. They offer two 1 oz pours for free. Then they have flights for tasting: three 2 oz tastings for $8. The tasting room is small but sweet and quant. The wine is a little overpriced per bottle ($20-$25 a bottle), but a great place to visit!

Not a true winery... tourist trap, over priced, and the 1st place I truly did not like most of the wines! I love all varieties...red and white. Small place and not the place to hang out with your friends. The wine waitresses were not friendly at all. So many other great wineries to visit. Same your time and go to some others in the area.

Im not much of a wine connoisseur, but when I need a bottle for dinner or a party, I know that the staff here can always find the perfect one for my occasion. Wine sampling also means I get to try before I buy!

I loved the names of the wines here. All something to do with Wizard of Oz, like "Ding Dong the Wine is Red" and "Angry Trees". Not only were the names clever, the wine was exceptional as well.

Great location and the people were very nice and knowledgeable. I was there during Wamegos Tulip fest so they had a place in the back to sit down and drink a bottle if you bought one.

Oz is the best. They are super helpful finding a wine that suits your taste and suggesting foods that will pair well. Emerald City Lights is the tastiest.
