I will definitely not be coming back. The waitress was more concerned with drinking at the bar than serving us. At one point our food was up at the window waiting for over 5 minutes for her to bring it out. Meanwhile, shes looking for where she set her wine glass down (obviously top priority when youre working). The cook hollers for her, not knowing where she is. She lets out a sigh and says "finally" like she is annoyed and has been waiting attentively. Tip to management: Its never a good idea to allow your wait staff to drink during their shift. Food was mediocre. Not what I would expect with a 4.8 star rating. This was the service even with a reservation. Not good.

This course is as beautiful and fun to play as many of the resort courses Ive played across the country. The course is superbly maintained and the spots of color provided by the flowers across the course are delightful. The new restaurant last year was a welcome addition and the food is fabulous. Be sure to put Spooner Golf Club on your list of must play Golf courses in Northwest WI.

We love this course! Always green, well maintained, fun to play. Last year they added a greatly improved restaurant that has completed an outstanding "up north" experience. The food is terrific and priced reasonably. Worth stopping by even if youre not a golfer.

A wonderful NW Wisconsin golf course. #18 is one of the best finishing holes in the entire state!! This is a course you will love to play over and over again. Also, our dinner was excellent! Cant wait to try their new lunch menu this summer!!

The course is always in top shape, even to the ruff is lush. Greens are great. The bar staff is congenial and the new Roost Restaurant is a great addition. The 18th hole is one of the most beautiful in the state. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful golf course that is very well maintained. The addition of The Roost Restaurant at SGC has also made this one of the top destinations for fish fry in the area.
