I gave Cannon River Winery 4 stars because I really enjoyed the flavors of their wines. We went to a tasting this past Thursday night. It was semi-busy and they were having a wine and canvas event upstairs. There was only one woman working and she was extremely busy and seemed stressed out. We were the only two people carded and we look well over 35 years of age. She was informative but always seemed to rushed when she came by. I would say the experience would have been better if there would have been more staff available. We did buy 7 bottles of wine but we made a long drive to get there. If we are making an effort to go out to a winery we want it to be welcoming with friendly staff, a place we want to hang out. I probably would not make a special trip back to Cannon River but would stop by if I was visiting Elmaro, Falconer, Alexis Bailey or Flower Valley then I might stop in to purchase more wine

As a wedding industry vendor I have had the pleasure of taking part in many weddings at Cannon River Winery. I always enjoy working at Cannon as they are always well organized and care so much about each event. I can say without a doubt that the Cannon River Winery Vineyard is the most beautiful ceremony location in the whole state! I highly recommend Cannon River Winery for events.

Very helpful staff, and good salespeople. My wife tried several different wines and bought a couple of bottles. I wasnt crazy about them but she seemed to like a couple of varieties. They sell beer too to accommodate people like me who dont appreciate wine. It was a beautiful afternoon and a nice day to sit at their outside tables. They sell a small variety of clothing items too.

I absolutely love photographing weddings here, the vineyard and barn are so perfect for wedding ceremonies! The reception space at the winery is beyond picturesque! There are so many rustic and unique touches to the room, and the staff is so wonderful! Having been photographing for 10 years now, this is one of my favorite spots!

Simply stated, Cannon River Winery is a not-to-be missed experience. If you havent been there, go! When those big doors are open and there is live music on stage, I find it a magical place. It is an aromatic treat to breathe in the wines as well as drink them. Huge stainless wine vats in a remarkable historic building. Cool!

The wine was great and the staff was amazing. The only draw back was it was a tight layout with not a lot of room with as busy as they are and was loud during the live music to be able to relax and socialize with friends, but I would return though as overall it was a good experience.

We were the only two paying customers in the winery and the owner put ALL of her attention to someone she was chatting with when we came in. The wines were ok but hospitality was very poor. We felt like we were bothering her.

Go here to sample delicious local wines made from grapes grown just down the road. Many times there is live music on the weekends. Make sure to check in during late August to find out about participating in the harvest.

The winery is absolutely beautiful and the staff is all exceptional and very helpful! Also, contrary to the previous review, they do produce their own grapes at their vineyard located just a few minutes south of town.

Great wine and experience. Staff can be a bit stiff and uptight but otherwise wonderful.
