We went to see Shane Owens. Called a couple of weeks ahead, and were told the cover charge was $5 per person, no reserved seating. No mention of memberships. We traveled over 50 miles, and sat in the parking lot for nearly 2 hours waiting to get in (one would assume since the website said the show started at 7 that the doors would open before this time). When the doors opened, a very rude "security guard" informed us it was a private club, and that without a membership we would not be allowed in. He thought it was funny that we had not been told this on the phone. I suggest you go to some of the other bars in the area, since Cowboys seems to want to pick and choose who they allow into their "grand palace". Only reason I gave it a star is because I couldnt save without doing so. I say no stars at all!!!!!

Probably the best place for live country music in the area. Club is really smokey, but tolerable. The have some great bands that come in. Tends to get very busy on Saturdays.

It really depends on who u r on how u r treated at this bar. My wife and I loved going to cowboys ; not any more. When you make rules Ron keep to them; and treat everyone equal.

I like going to see live bands but they only have country and thats ok sometimes. Between breaks the DJ plays everything but country... Maybe have that kind of bands play...

Loved happy hour and the live band was exciting, but thats about as far as it goes. If youre really into country type music, then this may be the place for you.

For those of you who are not from the Wiregrass, Cowboys is a really big Country bar. Its not bad if youre into that type of thing.

Bartenders are horrible. Absolutely no alcohol in drinks. Charged five dollars for a glass of coke...no whiskey.

This is the "Last Honky-Tonk" in the South. Its a pretty big place and has 3 bars inside.
