I just had my LAST visit to this theater. Its clientel has gone way downhill. Two large families decided to talk, kick seats, and let their kids run around the theater for an entire movie. Could barely hear the movie. I politely asked them to sit the kids down and stop talking, but they yelled at me and critized me. How dare i want to enjoy a movie in peace right? Keep running around. Keep talking. Keep kicking seats. I complained to the manager, and he was nice but theres nothing he can do about poor quality guests, (He did give me a coupon to be fair) As i leave a lady from the group starts yelling at me, calling me white trash, white a$$, punk a$$ b**ch, and called me a fa**ot. She yelled at me for 5 straight minutes. It took everything in my willpower not to call the cops or retaliate. I dont feel safe or welcome as a white customer. I was a victum of racist white hate here. They want to ruin other peoples movie going experience then go ahead. White people arent welcome by the other customers. Ill go somewhere where I can enjoy my movie without mobs. I dont feel safe there.

Its not the most modern theater, but it is clean. Sound and picture quality were fine, and they have the nice plush seats like most of the newer Marcus Theaters. Employee-wise, it was basically a ghost town. Id imagine its the easiest theater to hop from movie to movie, because in lieu of a ticket-checker they just had a sign that said "keep your ticket." The reason its a 3-star review for me is kind of beyond the control of the theater itself. This is a great place to see a movie if you want to hear all about the people around you. How their week is going, comments about the movie, whats the deal are their friends going to hook up or not, that stuff. People were even taking phone calls in the middle of the showing. Its not just kids, either ("Those dang kids!" the old man yelled, shaking his fist at a cloud), but full grown adults who just dont care. If those things dont bother you, or you consider it "part of the experience," then, cool, youve found your theater. If not, its not a very long drive to another cinema somewhere in the city.

This place is not horrible, but not great. The design and renovations made to the exterior and the lobby is wonderful, but the auditoriums can sometimes be scattered with trash and food. Also, sometimes people, especially those who come for the $5 Tuesday special, are loud or annoying and pay no attention to the others in the theater. Once, while watching Doctor Strange, a group of people were constantly checking their phones and calling and moving around the theater and talking while the movie played. Overall, the theaters side of the story is good, but some of the actual audiences can be a nuisance. Thank you!

Never returning, talk about ghetto. I sat through a movie where people were constantly on their phones and a lady was literally taking pictures on her phone of her kids (WITH THE FLASH ON) in the front of the theater towards the end of the movie (it was not finished yet! Not to mention, when we arrived there were people sitting in our seats that we had to then ask to leave our seats and then wait for them to leave. Edit: On the night of 7/26 there was a bigger incident of around 100 delinquent children fighting right infront of the entrance to the theatre. Again, I recommend never to come to this location.

Leah Meador in the last week My boyfriend and I went and first of all there system was down for the online ticket scanner and didnt have anyone out there to help bewsides the poor ticket guy who was already so busy. So cool, well then we go in (late) and some one was in our sets... No big deal well just go ask whats going on. Well turns out that the tickets he was given where for the wrong day. So not only did he pay 30 bucks for the movie that we did even freaken get a chance to see but there was no refund. So yeah Id give this place less then one star if I could.

Before criticizing a place and blaming all the black people for your "horrible" experience, please learn how to spell before posting all the negative comments. People have to realize, you wont always have the best experience everywhere you go. Theres always ignorant people somewhere, but to blame it all on blacks is racist and YOU are the ignorant one. Everyones personality is very different. YOU have to know when and how to react in certain situations, so.... with that being said, blame your bad experience on YOURSELF!!!

My daughter and I love this theater. The staff is friendly, its nice to park right in front, and the seats are comfortable. Ive never felt unsafe, threatened, or overly annoyed by the guests. If youre white and feel unsafe at this theater due to people of color, I have two thoughts: you likely are racist and should blame your parents for your upbringing. Second, please do not return, you make the rest of us look bad. Nobody will miss your presence. P.S. racism against white people... Isnt a thing. Read a book.

This theater definitely needs to be redone. Seats are uncomfortable, and the last 2 times I went there, the "projector broke down". Also, I went to pick up my boyfriend once, and there were MICE coming in and out of the building under a side door. The staff was nice and friendly though. Thats the ONLY good thing I have to say about the place. They need to take some time off, and redo the whole theater. Maybe theyll stand a chance next to other theaters like Southshore and even the budget.

I liked this theater before the renovation. The new lay-back lounge style chairs are awful and inferior they have no control to adjust the back. You are forced to sit an unhealthy position. I have a disability I must sit up and these new chairs hurt me. Please install ones with an adjustable back. Designers Learn something about healthy comfort before installing the latest junk. You are Lemmings following each others bad designs to your death. These chairs really do suck.

Ive read the comments and I must say its sad. Ive been to different theaters you can have a bad experience anywhere. When I want a more adult experience I got to the late shows. If I go to a PG movie I expect some talking and excitement from the kids. I have enjoyed my experience there I prefer to go there easy parking straight shot to the theater. I like the improvement only complaint I have is the darn chairs sometimes I get one that goes to gar back lol
