The Swap Meet here is great on any day. I have been going to it for thirteen years now. I have tried ALL the other ones, but this one still knows what it means to BE a swap meet. The vendors sell both new AND used. They work hard, are reliable and sell great stuff too! The prices are good and reflect the economy to the extent that they dont go down to ridiculous, just bargain-basement levels. The staff workers are great too! I drive a long way to go to this swap meet! IT IS WORTH EVERY MILE! I go for the used items. There is so much of both that it is remarkable! The items change from week to week with some vendors, and that always keeps it interesting! If something doesnt work they will do right by you every time! They are the BEST! Thanks for being there all these years! We go to Walmart less these days because the prices cant usually be beat at Rubidoux! The city is starting to look terrific these days! Families are happy and safe here too! Van Buren Swap Meet in Riverside is somewhat nearby, but it is all new items high-priced and the same stuff, with traffic galore, unless you show up right before closing. Their lot is not level like Rubidoux is, so walking is a chore with packages, strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. The restrooms at Rubidoux are clean and stocked, usually all day long, while Van Burens arent. The food at Rubidoux is good, cleanly handled and cooked, with reasonable prices. You can have a good time here, we have, and we will keep on coming every weekend as long as its there!

If you dont want to overpay for a movie, snacks and a nice night out with your loved ones this is the place to go to. This was my first time at this drive in and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Ive been to the Vineland drive in quite a bit so I went into the experience with that reference point and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The projection and sound are all digital, on par with what is available at other drive ins. The sound is broadcast on an FM station and its as good as your sound system is. The property itself is smaller than Vineland only accommodating 3 screens, but there is plenty of parking space and does not detract from the experience. The snack bar area is not as roomy as the Vineland one but, what they lack in room they make up in food selection. It was nice to see the usual theater snack food fair and in addition they offer Mexican food, fruit cocktails and Carne asada fries and nachos. You can also take your own snacks, drinks, chairs blankets and pillows perfect on a warm summer evening for a night out under the stars. The restrooms were reasonably clean and compared to Vineland definitely a step up. Remember people, this is a swap meet during the day and drive in at night so dont expect 5 star hotel quality restrooms. All in all if you are looking for a unique and fun experience with your loved ones this is the place to go to.

Warning...to everyone who visits this Drive-In! My husband and I came to see the "Mechanic" last night with a showing time of 8:30pm in THEATRE 3. First off the snack BAR did not open until 9pm, and my husband missed 30 mins of the movie. As I waited in the car and tried to watch the movie, the static was so bad that for 15 min. I was listening to Snoop Dog and then back to the movie. I looked around to see if anyone else had a problem, and it looked as though they did becaue they kept driving around. We tried to get a refund at 9 pm and they told u there were NO REFUNDS and that if we go further back to the snack bar, there would be less static. So the guys who work there knew that there WAS a problem with sound and did nothing about it. I find this sort of thing to be negative for business owners because obviously there is a problem and they could care less about customers. I would NEVER contribute to this Drive-In nor recommend it to others for the simple fact that they didnt resolve the problem and acknowledged that there was a problem. Shame of them because it looks like they could really use the business. DO NOT GO TO THEARTER 3........

The womens bathroom was SO dirty... I dont know how they havent been reported yet... there was literally poop all over one of the stalls... first off who ever did it is nasty but when i went to complain to an employee she was totally rude to me, acting like it was no big deal... REALLY there is crap on the walls... when i asked for a manager she proudly stated she was the manager -_- REALLY?? and she acted this way to a paying costumer?? She seemed so full of her self. she then pretty much flicked me off and lit a cig... this women shouldnt be working in the costumer service industry. the movie theater itself was ok not the best but ok... they let way to many people in, everyone was pretty much door to door... the screen i was at was totally flat and the movie was out of focus the entire time, u could tell what was going on but it felt like i needed glasses... My suggestion is go to a different drive in... The Van Buren drive in movie theater was good. It is a little drive for me but I refuse to got to this one EVER again

We went on a Friday..parked in the 3rd row. Many people. we didnt know what to expect. There were negative reviews that we read. Well we enjoyed it. Two good movies. Clean rest rooms. The snack bar was clean the food and goodies priced reasonable. The gal that helped us Vanessa? i think was her name? she was so pleasant and this was during the rush. We kept waiting for the negitive.. any negitive... never happened. Even the exit with dozens and dozens of cars went smoothly. And for $8 dollars a person how can u beat that. We are going again.

The amount of garbage being produced at the drive-ins swap meets is unreal. What is real is the piles of tash clogging up many of the storm drains through-out the city of Rubidux. Thousands and thousands of pieces of trash come blowing over those walls, and each one of those pieces of trash could potentially be revenue for the pennyless city. $1,000 fine for each individual piece of trash. I think the sheriffs should certainly take advantage of the opportunity to help clean up the area and put some money in the cities pocket.

I love this place. The sound of crowded highway didnt bother me at all considering its price is so cheap. This week, I will bring my radio along with a giant popcorn, drinks and long chair while watching the new Bourne. I recommended you to not come on the week-end, some people said its packed of people. The restroom is alright; it wasnt dirty nor too clean. I cant complain for the price of $7/an adult and $1/ a kid, we can watch two movies.

Nice asphalt coated grounds with little hills to aim your vehicle up towards the screens. If you can last, watch 3 movies for $9 per person. You have to start your car once every 45 minutes or so, to avoid a drained battery, but consessions are way cheaper than the theater and you can bring as much food and drink in as you want. A good date or family fun.
