The floors are usually sticky but when you get a bargain like $2.00 per ticket and $1.00 tuesdays ya cant be picky ;) southgate is loaded with loud rude obnoxious teens laughing, talking during the whole movie and Ive got beer spilled on me at southgate s. 27 st. Every experience at the budget is pleasant & people are very polite & quick to resolve any issue for anyone. Value cinema always ends my night w/ my wallet full and a great & cant forget the most friendly staff at VALUE CINEMA DONT CLOSE DOWN LIKE HWY 100 DID RECENTLY WE NEED YOU & Your friendly staff all other milwaukee area movie theatres employees look like they just turned 16 they all look as if theyre want to quit, fall asleep and seen some walk out on the job because they REFUSE TO CLEAN THE THEY ALWAYS SAY "I WAS HIRED AS A CASHIER" BATHROOMS NO WAY FIRED SPOILED MISS ...theyre the same kids sneaking in other younger annoying loud kids drinking for the 1st time & getting in altercations with a manager its ridiculous that i got cheap beer spilled on my pants and shoes those were grown people....and myself and three other couples wanted a refund. We got a coupon for popcorn and soda. Needless to say PISSED and value cinema I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHILL POLITE STAFF AND YOUR MOVIE THEATRE GETS 5stars!!!!!!!!

This theater has decent prices and okay seats. However, the concessions cashier was lacking. My boyfriend purchased one of the meal deals and the cashier charged for the wrong one. That was okay, sometimes you cant hear. But this was the kicker. After ringing up the total, she asked if we wanted our "other" nachos. My boyfriend already has nachos so he is like "what?, no, one is enough." The cashier then mentions that he was already charged for them. Okay lady, if he paid for them why ask if he even wants them? Do people regularly purchase concessions then decide not to take them sans the money? Anyway, the movies and the seats are good enough but the lady was a ditz.

I have frequented the Budget and the admission price is of course wonderful! The past couple of times there has been a major issues with the sound quality. First we went to see Narnia and it started off quiet. I figured once everyone got seated we would start getting into movie mode sound. No such luck. My husband did tell an employee but nothing was addressed. Oh well right? It was so cheap! So we tried again and recently saw Insidious. Movie sound started off great 3/4 of the movie. Last 15 minutes the sound was so quiet again! Super annoying. Next time, were going to explore other budget movie options even if it may a little further drive

Been coming here since a kid with my family. 1 dollar Tuesdays are whats up but you can see movies for like a couple bucks more any other day of the week this place is clean for what you pay sometimes it looks like a ghost Town inside but its a good change of pace from the craziness of other theaters in speaking of within the past year or so they upgraded the projectors so you get the same hi quality viewing for less then half the price of other theaters. only negative thing is seats are kinda uncomfortable but for the price you pay for a clean theater its worth it.

Love this theater!! Yes I know its older, kind of a dump but its a value cinema where you can see cheap movies that transfer from the regular Marcus down the street on Rawson Ave. You cant beat beat $1.50 movies on Tuesdays. If there is a movie you want to see but not pay $20 for a movie, wait until it comes there and see it for cheaper. Seats are fine, popcorn is good and its a clean place. What else you do you people want? Love this place!

This place blows away the Budget on hwy 100, even though its a buck more. The seats are actualy good here and they play good movies. Tuesdays rock and you dont have to go on a Tuesday to save money. Like I said the one on hwy is cheaper, but it is so uncomfortable, this place I have had a great time and been going there off and on for many years. Great for any age, old or young.

Managerial staff lacked problem solving skills, me. And my family went to see a movie here twice and both times they turned on the lights too early and ruined the foreshadowing scenes left at the ends of the credits, we complained to the manager about it, his constant response? "Oh, Ill talk to my usher about it." We demanded a refund, and left.

the place is pretty good for the price plus they have a pretty cool pinball table. but ive noticed that if you come for a movie showing thats after 9pm the teenagers who "run" the place catch an attitude like no other

Good for a cheap movie, but that is about it. Popcorn is not as good as the expensive theaters. The facility is going in the tanks quickly -- if the seats squeak louder than the movie, its a problem.

Always nice to see a movie and not have to end up with the final bill being $50. Staff is nice and area was clean. Only down is that the chairs in the theatre are old and not the most comfortable.

$1.50 tickets cant be beat. I wish theyd show older movies during the evenings, I imagine they would sell out because its a cheap date and a great place to take kids.

Tickets are cheap, but the seats are in good shape. Youll need a good credit score, though, to get financing for the snack bar. Almost $20 for 2 sodas and popcorn

Great prices, especially on half price ticket tuesdays. BEST cotton candy. A little pricey in snacks tho, but what do you expect from a movie theatre.

Love the low tickets prices. It is not the best movie experience out there but if you want to go see a movie at reasonable prices this is the place.
