This theater has been subpar for as long as I can remember, but recently I saw they got acquired by AMC so I thought maybe someone straightened things out here. Nope, only thing thats changed is their uniforms. The audio in our theater sounded like it was coming out of a tin can and after informing them twice about it they did nothing. There was so few staff that me and my friends (despite having purchased our tickets in advance) could have simply walked into a theater without paying as there was nobody checking tickets; just some people at concessions. In the future Ill be going to the only theater in town thats any good and its right across the street.

I couldnt believe the number of commercials and trailers. The commercials were the same as those shown on TV and some ran twice. I dont go to the movies to watch toothpaste commercials, etc. This is the worst feature of this theatre. Seats are comfortable, not crowded and sound was not overly loud like at Columbiana Grande. Get rid of the commercials and get more first run films and this place will come back.

This theatre has the best customer service in town and sweet people working there. Every theatre has the same length of commercials. Other theaters make you stand in the line for tickets. Even at the box office at other theaters you still have to stand in a line anyway. This theatre has been around longer so it will have complications at times. Other theaters have complications as well.

Just when I thought this place couldnt get worse, I went today and sat through 10 minutes of commercials after the official start time. Then there were the typical 15 minutes of previews. The result was that my friend had to leave before the movie was over. What a horrible movie going experience. Turn this place into a $1.50 movie theater and put it out of its misery...

There are two major movie theaters in the Columbiana Mall area: Carmike and Columbiama Grand. Carmike is the older of the two but its not bad. Its little cheaper, but often, both movie theaters provide different movie selections. So your choice here really should be what movie, not what theater.

Need to clean the theaters, they smell like something crawled in them and died!!!! The experience is not worth the money and i would not recommand this theater to anyone that wants to see a movie!!!!! I had a very bad experience on May 29, 2009 when some of my friends and I went to the theater!!!!

Sound was messed up through the first half of the movie (Wonder Woman). Complained three times to attendants and manager before they finally fiddled with the sound and made it somewhat better. Only go to this theater if the movie you are seeing is only available here. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Love It Carmike is one of my favorite places to visit. I love the popcorn. They even will layer the butter in my popcorn, unlike some places that only put it on the top. The staff are always friendly. And they even smile when all I came after is popcorn.

Just cant seem to catch a break at this theater. It seems like every time we go to see a movie there has been an issue. Wrong movie, too hot, too noisy. Wish it was different, as I used to enjoy this theater very much.

I love going to see movies here. There are never loads of people. The seats are comfortable. We will always go back. Weve been there three times. And weve enjoyed every single time. Great popcorn too!!!

I like that the screen expands out but there was a tare or something on the middle of the screen, that was distracting. The is not much of a food selection and what they do have doesnt taste great.

My family love going there. And they have the best deals for all ages. And movies are up to date and some are not but the show a variety movies at Carmike 14. I love this place

Not an original AMC. They bought Carmike, and this is and old Carmike that hasnt been updated in quite some time. Seats are very uncomfortable, sound is not very good.

Its a movie theater with an armed police officer present to take you ticket. The drinks are way over priced but I suppose they are at all movie theaters..lol

Under $10 for movie which is great. The fabric seating was a little tuff. Nevertheless, a clean facility and the popcorn smell will entice you throughout.

The NEW seats are a huge improvement, I no longer have to search for 5 minutes to find one that isnt broken. And the bucket deal is HUGE savings.

Paying for movies in advance on Fandago or online is useless. You still have to wait on line at concessions to show your ticket. Ridiculous.
