Never have I been so tempted to serve myself than at this bar where all the bartenders were probably younger than me, and I am only in my mid 20s. They do have nice decor, but plan to sit there admiring it for a long time--bill in hand--while you watch half a dozen other people wander over to the bar and snag a quick drink before your presence is even acknowledged. Granted, they knew they messed up and cut the drink price in half because I waited so long for a beer on tap that was only partially filled. Why they bother blasting recorded music in their tiny bar room while a live band is playing in their other tiny room is beyond me. If you are already totally wasted and you love superfluous noise (and do not plan on having a conversation at all), I guess this place is for you.

Great place to see live, local music. Recently went there for my friends album release show and had a blast. Only downside is the bar area is very narrow so if youre there on a real busy night, entering and exiting can be a bit of a traffic jam.

The Cactus was kind of under cooked and it tasted a little raw, However my friends cactus was over cooked and was burnt, so if the could just get theyre cactus cooking right...

This is one of the premier live music venues in Milwaukee. If you havent been here, you must check it out. Everything from local to national acts in an intimate setting.

This is not my scene, Im not a live music or punk rock fan, but $5 patron tequila shots... I probably had five of them. Money well spent!

Really intimate venue to see bands that should be playing in rooms 10x the size. Tough to get drinks when its packed but well worth it.

This is the best small concert venue in Milwaukee. The sound is fantastic. The performance room is nice and intimate. You cant beat it.
