This used to be our "go-to" place to golf because Ron make it very kid-friendly for my two young boys. When the whole economy took a hit, he survived by pushing the "restaurant" (bar) more. Before, it was a golf course with a modest lodge. Now its a full-blown country bar that happens to have a golf course. That shift has really brought a whole different demographic to the course, and not in a good way. Beer cans strewn all over the course (even hanging in the trees,) drunk people all over the place, foul language, poorly maintained course, etc. Its simply not an environment Ill be bringing my sons back to. I cant really fault Ron for going that direction. He did what he need to in order to survive, although hes doing quite well based on the remodel of his entire house off one of the greens. But given so many other better-maintained courses in the area that dont have the trashy bar clientele, we wont be back.

Pretty laid back so a decent atmosphere..golf course is trash for the price. Greens arent cut, holes are cut bad. Comparable to Meander as far as quality goes and way over priced in that regard. Workers are very friendly, just overpriced as far as Im concerned

Great value at $26 for 18. Greens were in great shape course was fun! Ignore the 1 star rating online .....this is not a PGA course but if you are looking for good golfing at a great rate play here

Firm fairways, soft greens, reasonable difficulty for amateur golfers, fair prices, adequate driving range...not going to find better around here
