This place is absolutely horrible! I refuse to return and actually support this place. The security practically makes you go through a strip search to enter the venue and everything is EXTREMELY overpriced. I see people get their gloves taken away, beat up by security after selling out of drugs/ having their money stolen, then kicked out. Meanwhile, other people are dying of overheating and struggling to breathe with asthma problems. ( No free water, 5$ for tap, 10$ for a tall boy of bud light) Absolutely a joke. I will never return.

Much of my love of The Miramar Theatre revolves around the actual events that occur here, and not the physical space or location. However, I do find myself frequently returning to The Miramar Theatre for Live Wire or other events such as the recent Dan Savage Valentines Day show. If youre not at the front, the seats arent that comfortable, but the great drinks served in the bar make up for it. Going to shows at The Mira mar Theatre make me happy and is a small part of why I love living in Milwaukee.

Excellent sound, great floor space (and seating alike), and cheap prices. Well worth visiting! Security was super laid back (just dont be foolish), staff was friendly, and other concert goers respectful and looking to enjoy themselves. Located near UW-Milwaukee, the venue has a good spread of individuals between college age and mid/late-twenties - two thumbs up.

The Miramar Theatre has made some unbelievable renovations over the past couple of years. The side bar called Stage Right, has the perfect atmosphere to grab a cold one before one of the shows, and the prices are unbelievable. The thing I enjoy about The Miramar is that it truly is a venue for many different types of audiences.

I love this place! Im into all kinds of different music and the Miramar features artists from many genres. They have a friendly staff and always provide service with a smile. I also love the seating in a circle around the stage and dancefloor. There is no bad seat in the house. The sound system is awesome too!!

Security was there, but not handsy like the ones at the rave are. The venue is perfect for raves, a moderately sized room with great sound. Theres also good seating if youre not the moshing and headbanging type or youre just a little too far gone.

Been here for 2 edm shows. It brings a good crowdthat know whats up with edm. Not those stupid noobs that cant handle their party items and die like at the rave. But they should remove those seats because it promotes laziness!

The greatest environment, and unlike the rave and its over priced drinks. The Miramar Theatre is affordable and stands to serve quality cocktails. Hands down the best place to see a show in Milwaukee.

Home to Dead mans carnival: live music variety show. Historic venue. Only all-ages club on that side of town. A bit rundown but even that has its charms.
