Excellent food, bad service. Went on a relatively slow day and still had problems with service. Their service was mediocre, and my friends and I continually asked for items that typically should be readily available including napkins, straws and side dishes for our meals. My chili, which was my appetizer, was not as hot in temperature as I would have liked, and it took awhile for the waitress to come check on us to see how we were doing, which was annoying and inconvenient. To cap it off, our waitress added items to our bills that were incorrect, and the greeter decided to have an attitude when I asked where our waitress was to fix this problem. Other than these gripes, my trip to Red Rock Saloon was fairly enjoyable, especially because their barbecue was tantalizing and tender. Id have to give Red Rock Saloon an advantage over some Milwaukee BBQ joints like Smoke Shack because they offer a wider variety of options and have a better conception of what barbecue is supposed to be in terms of comfort food. Red Rocks prices were decent, and their seasonings were through the roof, a key function when eating barbecue. None of my friends complained about their food, whether it be pulled chicken or an angus burger with onion strings, bacon and a fried egg, and we all believed Red Rock satisfied our taste buds, especially as I ate their pulled pork sandwich and ribs. Hopefully when I go back their in the future the service will be somewhat better and add to the fantastic BBQ they offer!

Marius nailed it! Smells like urine haha made me laugh! The Food: I would say the food is about average. Not a disappointment but not amazing (contrary to what Adam Richman will tell you). I like the hot wing sauce, but it on my fries and burgers. When I have went with others they enjoyed the food too. The Atmosphere: Above average if western/cowboy stuff is your thing... The bar scene: Terrible. Going back to what Marius said in his review... This place smells like pee. Basically Red Rock scoops up the drunkest college students and lets them wreak havoc everywhere. Its usually extremely crowded where you need to push people to get anywhere (not a fun time). Drinks are mucho dinero and small and just overall uninteresting. If you are lucky enough to bring a girl along she will be undressed by ever guy in the place and if you decide to take a pee she will probably get dry humped a few times. The floor is sticky and covered in alcohol and everything else. Many patrons are also beyond drunk and fall over allot. Bathroom is obviously NOT clean and the barmaids were solely hired for their looks and not their brains... Verdict: If you just turned 21 go ahead. If you want to enjoy your night and arent out to get hammered I would skip this one ladies and gents.

I felt very uncomfortable and treated differently to say the least. Myself and a friend went in on a Monday around 7 ish. We entered and received the most dirt looks. We looked at each other and kinda shrugged it off. We seated ourself and engaged in girl talk, patiently waiting for the waitress. About 20 mins later waitress approached with menus. She asked if we wanted anything to drink, we requested water, to give time to look over menu. After awhile we wondered where she was. The tension in the room was very uncomfortable for us. It was clear we were not wanted. After another 15-20 mins we being looking around and made eye contact with the waitress, she hurried and looked away. My friend said she was ready to go. I said I really want the food. We sat a little longer and eventually decided to leave. We left a tip for the water. I wouldnt recommend this place if your Black, a person of color, African American, or whatever you wanna call it. Its scary to think this type of treatment is still so openly going on in November 2016.

My boyfriend used a Groupon for our visit here. We got 4 meats (no ribs available until after 5 (except on weekends), we came around 3pm on a Friday). I loved the chicken, best chicken Ive had in a very long time!! The brisket ands turkey were good as well. Our sides: onion rings, fried corn and mac and cheese. The onion rings are not the traditional round big rings but more like ribbons. I dont like onions but I did like these. As for the fried corn, skip it. Its gummy and sticks to your teeth. Neither of us cared for it at all. I did however love love love their mac and cheese...and we spilt a cup of chili, so good. Ive had a lot of texas style chili and this one is worth the trip in, big chunks of brisket! So good! We will be back!

The food was very good. They have a lot of southern-style options. The homemade BBQ chips were great. I LOVE that their burgers are made with open-range beef, from hormone-free, vegetarian-fed happy cows. The night we went, the service was terrible. Wed ask for something (ex: ketchup), and she wouldnt be back to check on us for 15 minutes. Then when she came back shes see us and remember she was supposed to get us something, with a "oh yeah!" look on her face, and then actually go get it for us. This happened several times. We also waited a good 30 minutes for the check to arrive, and another 20 minutes for her to come back with our credit cards.

Didnt order food so cant say anything on that side but the bartender..... Where to begin, first off no clue how to pour a beer, broke health codes by reusing peoples glasses, using his personal bottle opener off his personal key ring from his pocket. Leaving beer faucet in beer, creates bacteria. Slamming glasses against beer faucet, all things a Bartender should of been taught not to do!! I hope management reads this and gets some training going on, if not I hope a health inspector reads this and fix this. I enjoy a good beer with no bacteria and flakes off faucet in my beer, ruining the flavor and spreading bacteria!

Came here because my friend wanted to grab some good appetizers. The food is good, but the portions do not equal the price. We ordered nachos with a $2 up charge for BBQ brisket, no bbq sauce on the brisket and not enough brisket at all. For $12 I expect at least a decent amount of brisket, we only had 4-5 SMALL pieces. Again, portions do NOT equal price. Our "boneless wings" were not wings at all, but mostly breaded pieces of chicken with BBQ sauce in little pieces is not boneless wing. Soda to alcohol ratios are great, you def get what you pay for in that sense. Service is great.

I keep trying to give this place a shot, but it seems every time I go here with friends the food is mediocre and the service is hit or miss. Sometimes the waitstaff is friendly and quick to make drinks and serve you, other times you wait 15 minutes between seeing them and they forgot that you ordered something the last time they were at your table and need to leave again for 10+ minutes to get what you asked for the first time. TL;DR Pros: Cool atmosphere - mechanical bull, country bar, decent prices Cons: Unfriendly staff that is forgetful, not enough beers on tap
