Worst golf experience in years. The course mgmt team obviously does not know what they are doing. I had tee time for 11am and arrived about an hour early to hit the bucket of balls that came with the price. Two hours later we finally got golf car and started play. Three hours later we finished the first nine holes. SLOW SLOW SLOW. We had to wait on every tee box and by the time we finally teed off the next group was sitting wanting on us. The management team stated it was out of their control. I think they need new management. To make matters worse, the were SELLING HALF PRICE TEAM TIMES WHEN I ARRIVED AT 10am and THE COURSE WAS ALREADY OVERBOOKED. They are either incompetent or they do not care!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading all of these reviews i was skeptical to go golf here, especially for the price. You never know what a course is like until you try it. Everything was is great shape. It seemed all bunkers were fixed and its a nice clean fun course. Im not sure that this is a $65+ course but def a $40-45 course which is what i paid by booking on a secondary site for the weekend. Great layout, lots of water (doesnt really come into play on most holes. Greens were perfect! Keep all your shots as straight as possible or else you will end up in all the houses and apartments that are along the course. Will def be back to this course if the price is right.

Riverchase is your typical muni course: grass is a little dried out and the bunkers are absolutely horrible (more dirt and pebbles than sand). I will say that the greens are above-average for a muni, they are less bumpy and a bit softer than most, but they are SLOOOW. The course is definitely not walker friendly: The first tee is pretty far from the clubhouse, you pretty much have to take a cart to get to the range, and there is good distance between most of the greens and the next tees, elevation to deal with, and the water jugs arent distributed very well on the course.

Unorganized every time I go. Today I had a 12:53 tee time and finally got a cart at 1:30. I teed off at 1:35. Finished playing 6:42. Thats a 5 hour game of golf. They constantly book more golfers then they can handle. Cart girl passed us 3 times without ever stopping. It is never a great or good experience when I play here, but today it was terrible. If could give zero stars I would.

Very surprised that a course with rude staff (as noted by others), horrible pace of play (as noted by others), cart paths and fairways in poor condition, bunkers that perpetually resemble the surface of mars (nearly all are unplayable), and generally mediocre upkeep would generate 4 stars.. That said its cheap so you get what pay for, just be ready for a true 5 hour round..

I played a tournament here and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was friendly and the facilities were well kept. The staff was well organized and had everything in order. Carts were lined up, labeled, and ready to go for the event. The course was nice, but a little challenging for a beginner. I lost several balls in the water.

Booked a 10am tee time and they apparently booked 3 other 4 somes at the same time. Waited at #1 for 30min and turned into a 6hr round. No marshall anywhere around to maintain any sort of reasonable pace of play. Bunkers were rock hard dirt and greens were covered in unrepaired ball divots. Wont play here again.

Great Course and friendly staff. We were in Dallas for a few days of training. The staff got us on the course right away and helped us with rental clubs. Had a great time on the course. The Golf Pro and the man staffing the Golf Carts were very courteous. Definitely recommend especially at the great prices.

Went to play on October 22. The course was in terrible shape. Took 6 hours to play a round of golf. No marshals to help no gps to give distances to hole Terrible spacing in between groups. To many 5 in group playing. Do not waste your time and money. Horrible golf course.

This is a good cheap golf course. You can get a membership for about $30 a month for unlimited range balls and play for just a cart fee in the afternoon. Its challenging enough for your average golfer. For the price, this is a great deal.

This place is just okay. They should reduce the rate for the quality of the course. It is bit over price for public golf course. I would go to Indian Creek Golf Club instead of this golf course.

We go here a few times a year. Always fun and fair price. Id like the carts to have GPS but I have my phone or watch. The bar folks were always funny and courteous. I can be sure we will be back.

With the Palmer Club the deal is unbeatable. After reading the other reviews I am astonished at their dislike of the course. I wonder if they are even golfers.

Good layout , Greens are not in good shape . Over crowded, they have 5-6 golfer in groups during weekend. Be ready for 5 hours round. staff at pro shop is rude.

This could be a great course but they overbook the tee times on the weekend. Also, driving range is awkward to get to.
