Easily the best theater (and the only theater) within 60 miles. Anyone complaining about the $8.50 matinee price (for a 3D movie; $6.50 if its not 3D) have either: (1) Not done price comparisons... in New York, it would be $18.50 for the same movie. Las Angeles, about $16.50. Shreveport is a little cheaper, but Im not driving 90 miles each direction and spending $40 on gas just to save $1.50 on a movie ticket. OR (2) Not done your research. The movie studio leases a movie to your local theater for a set period of time. In the first couple of weeks the film shows in the theatre, the theater itself only gets to keep about 20%–25% of the money, sometimes less. That means, if you showed up to watch Bridget Jones’ Diary on opening night, then of the $10 you put out for a ticket, the theater only got to keep about $2.00 and $2.50 of it. In some cases, even less; for example, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, the studio kept *ALL* of the box office take for the first week. Think about that: The theater had to overstaff and deal with above-normal capacity flooding into the theater (not to mention pay all the other bills associated with running a theater, such as electricity, water, etc) and got to keep NOTHING. In the second and third week, the theater usually gets to keep 45%-55%, and in the fourth week (and later), they get to keep around 80%... but when was the last time you waited 4 weeks to see a movie? Usually youre one of the only people there. It doesn’t do the establishment a lot of good to keep 80% of the ticket sales when only 14 tickets are sold per show. This forces them to make most of their money off concessions. If youve ever wondered why a $0.15 bag of popcorn costs you $5, and a $0.08 cup of Coke costs you another $5, well, now you know. Its because the economics of running a theater are so screwed up that they *HAVE* to make their money on concessions. So if youre coming to the reviews page to complain about prices, dont complain to the theater... send your complaint to the movie studios, for all the good itll do you.

I have traveled abroad and this facility is very nice in comparison. I choose to skip out on the cinema facility that is 30 miles away from me in lieu of driving and hour and a half to this facility. The staff members are friendly and the physical facility itself is kept clean. Attending this facility you do feel safe by frequently seeing patrol cars in the parking lot. The physical layout of the facility with multiple exits and wide hallways make it more comfortable for when large crowds are present. There are many movie offerings with a variety in genre that are also the latest releases. I can depend on the newest movies to be released to be promptly available here.

My husband and I purchased tickets to a movie and during the first quarter of the movie I started to not feel very well. Then it got worse and I felt like I was going to vomit and needed to go home immediately. I went up to the concession stand and the gentleman handed me a trash bag. After coming home my husband went back to the theater and asked for a refund. They gave it to him and we are so appreciative of this. It may not be their policy but we really appreciate them giving us our money back because we never get to go anywhere and it was super disappointing to have to leave the movie. Thank you so much we will be back again soon .

The theater its self is great. The staff is amazing as well. I didnt give 5 stars because I was there to watch a movie and my experience kept getting interrupted due to the guy in front of me being on his phone!! This wasnt a one time occurrence, it happened about 4 times. I went to get a manager because at one point he was filming the movie. Long story short when we finally had enough of his bright phone screen and we said something it started a small argument between myself my boyfriend and the 3 ppl in front of us. I dont understand how it is not common sense to NOT be on your cell phone in a movie theater.

Despite the fact that this is the only theater located in the Texarkana area- its a great local theater to visit. The prices may seem "expensive" but its actually a lot cheaper than other bigger cities. The concession prices are a bit expensive as well but considering how concession sales are the theaters main source of profit, it is understandable. Besides, you cant not buy that popcorn! ;) Overall the employees are friendly and helpful. This theater is a great source of entertainment for Texarkana!

Its your average American theater experience. Comfortable seats, expensive snacks, and showtimes that never seem to quite fit your needs. Im always a bit disappointed when this theater doesnt carry films that might come off as "controversial" to the local political or religious scene. Personally, I dont like 3D films at all (they make me nauseous), and they always have a lot of showings for 3D versions of blockbusters, yet its hard to find more than one normal showing.

I love this place! Popcorn, soda, candy, arcade games, and 16 theaters featuring the latest and greatest movies! They have options for birthday parties or even business events where you can rent a theater. Theyll even cater for these events with popcorn, hotdogs and the like. The staff is always helpful and even direct you to the proper theater when they take your ticket.

Worst ever. Just the worst. I am grown adult, been to movies many many times, yet they want to card me and I just happen not to have my card. Right after I saw them let some 10 years olds in to the same movie. Terrible service. The ticket both always have terrible people with attitudes. Most of them look like that went through nam. Mangement get on it please?

I am very upset because they advertise wonderful old movies on their website - Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Clue, ect... And yet these movies are NOT being shown in the area. They are not even being shown in Bossier City. Please only place movies on you website that are ACTUALLY playing in Texarkana.

Management is lacking personal communication skills. Some are sweet, but there is one that is about 55 petite, black female, that doesnt deserve the management role. She needs to learn how to talk to contractors, and customers. She feels she is qualified to do everyones job, and this Marine doubts if she can do her own.

Inasmuch as its the only Cinema in Texarkana, its okay. However the concession/snack bar prices are totally outrageous and I frequently just bring in a cold canned soda and snacks in my purse. Who can afford 6.00 for a small popcorn and 4.00 for a soda? Hmmm?

Beautiful facility, excellent exhibition standards. They dont show many arthouse" or indie films however. The selection is limited to mainstream American films, and religious-themed movies are favored to accomodate the denizens of this Bible Belt community.

The whole place is CLEAN. The bathrooms are the type of bathrooms you would want in every public place. The seats in the movie rooms are confortable and clean.... Also their popcorn is awesome! I have nothing bad to say about Cinemark in Texarkana.
