The owner of Bryants has created yet another great hangout. Arrive early at The Jazz Estate to get a great seat. The establishment is small and fills up quickly during peak hours. The cocktail menu has a nice selection of theme based drinks. I and my companions had the Bryants Old Fashioned and the Jazz Estate Old Fashioned. The Bryants is a classic. I personally recommend it sour, but the sweet is also good according to my friends. I personally recommend the Jazz Estate Old Fashioned. It is strong and well-priced considering you are in the heart of the Milwaukee East Side. The lighting is dim, the music fits well, the staff is attentive and friendly. The decor is very fitting of a jazz club: luxurious and classy. Bonus, the bathrooms are clean. This is a great place to go if you dont want the night to end, and want to talk with friends while sitting in a cool looking place with a great drink.

When they say theyre at capacity, that should mean that theres no seating available. When you do get in, dont expect to find a seat at the bar or a table. What it means is youll be standing shoulder to shoulder with everyone or stuck in a corner, or standing against a wall as everyone passes by, bumping into you. Not how I want to spend my night. I even feel bad for the people who were able to get a seat, because now you have everyone hovering around you trying to get the bartenders attention.

Definition of a hole in the wall bar but a definite must visit in Milwaukee. First and third Mondays of the month are jam night with live Jazz music and a must attend. Drinking anything off the rail will get a little expensive really quick but with great service and experienced mixers you cant go wrong.

I had the heart leaf cocktail and it was so on point. Jevin while being charming and easy on the eyes, makes some delicious cocktails. Flavors are complex, well thought out and executed perfectly. The atmosphere is warm, seductive and sets a mood. This will be my go to sophisticated treat yo self place.

Dimly lit, intimate live music in a small space. Very impressed with the performance by the Mitch Shiner Trio. Drinks are well priced and staff is friendly and helpful. A great place to spend a laid back evening.

The staff was awesome. The music was great, the owner monitored the sound from everywhere and adjusted it perfectly. Its a small venue the way it should be for great jazz and the drinks are affordable.

This bar is excellent if you want a small, cozy, candelit live jazz bar with excellent performances. The drink variety is not the best, but the bar overall is a lot of fun.

They locked the doors and shut the blinds after I walked up and was finishing my cigarette before coming in. There were still people inside. It was 1a. Bar closes at 2a.
