I went to Bub City on Friday May 27th to "celebrate" my girlfriends 27th birthday. I initially made a reservation for a table of 15 because I thought that would be just about how much we would have. I ended up being completely wrong and we had over 40 people show up. I was also planning on proposing to my girlfriend that night as I reconnected with her when the bar was previously known as Toby Keiths 5 years ago and thought that was a good time to do it! I made this aware to Bub City before I got there and the Manager that Night, Matt, came to me when our party started to grow and said he was aware of the possible proposal. He then told me that he wants to accommodate all of us and ensured we would have an amazing night. He first offered to set up a proposal on stage in front of everyone but we wanted to keep it more intimate. His next offer was to take us upstairs to private rooms and a balcony with our own bartender and live music playing below us that we could watch. I was so thankful to Matt for that offer that I had to accept. He was also playing along like he was not aware of the proposal and was coming up with lies on the spot to my girlfriend about why we are moving! It was great! He then walked us upstairs and showed us all of the rooms including the balcony. I was so nervous that I couldnt wait and proposed to my girlfriend, who is a beach girl, in front of a palm tree picture on the balcony once I saw it. The night was one to remember and we were able to comfortably celebrate with friends and family. If that werent enough, Matt brought us both a glass of champagne and told the bartender to not charge my girlfriend and I for drinks. Matt went above and beyond and even stayed past his shift to accommodate and made sure we had an amazing night. I cant thank Bub City and Matt enough for giving us a night that we will always remember! We will always make it a point to frequently visit Bub City as their food and drink selections are already fantastic. The service that night was beyond expectations and we will forever be grateful!!

I made a reservation here and wasnt really sure what to expect. To be fair, its obvious that some people love this place, but its definitely for a specific crowd. Since its in Rosemont, I expected it to be a bit nicer. The decor was cute but it was so loud. Country music blaring so much I had to yell to talk to my bf right across from me. Its very much a sports bar. Seating was meh. I find it a little offensive when I make a reservation and get placed at a crappy table. They were packed, and we were just two people, but we were sat at the first bar stool table really close to the entrance, bar, and hostess station. Food was OK. My bf got the pork shoulder, and the portion was very small. BBQ is supposed to be bountiful, especially for the price. I got a chicken sandwich but it was more like a huge piece of chicken on a bun, not really a patty--it doesnt even fill the bun. Fries were nothing special. Service was OK. They were nice about replacing a messed up order but not very personable. We definitely wont be returning but if youre a rich redneck, its probably youre fantasy land.

I was organizing a work dinner for 25 people on a Tuesday evening, and was told Bub City would be able to accommodate a larger party. The Event staff that I worked with were friendly and very responsive with our needs and gave great suggestions on how to plan the event. I ended up going with the "Family Style" dinner for the event. When I got to the restaurant, the section for my event was all ready to go with custom printed menus. Our server, Mary, was excellent and took care of all the tables with ease. There was a very large private event in another area of the restaurant which did not affect how quickly we were served our food and drinks. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! There was plenty of food to go around and a great time was had by all. I totally recommend Bub City for events! I didnt get to stay for the Band Karaoke, but will try and stay for it the next time we have a work event there.

The Food was Good and the service was Good. It started when we walked in and they wouldnt seat us near the window because the 4 open booths were for bigger parties. They were all still empty when we left. They do not have any Cider on Tap so that was disappointing. We ordered the Pretzel for an appetizer only to be told they dont serve it anymore. Then watched as they delivered two of them to the table across from us. My wife ordered the Dirty Fries with her meal and they were ice cold. No problem replacing them. I ordered a side of Cheese for my waffle fries but when the food came he didnt have it. I mentioned it and he said its not on the ticket. OK? Can you bring me some? Sure. Would like to point out the server was nice...just seemed like everything around her was out of wack.

Great venu!! If you havent been to the MB Financial Park at Rosemont you need to check it out. This is a one stop destination for dining, entertainment, nightlife, and family fun. The park has a beautiful artificial grass area in the summer and then a NHL sized ice rink that is erected in the winter months. Bub City is located right by the center court area. They have a beautiful outside patio/dining area and the traditional country western pub area inside. Good selection of bourbons and whiskey as well as a good lineup of beers. The food is your BBQ pub food variety. The BBQ nachos are great and come in a very good portion size. The chicken wings and sandwiches are good as well. Our waitress was very sweet and checked on us often. Overall recommend this experience.

Went here today about 5pm, was promptly seated at a table near the bar with my two friends. The service was spectacular, as a flannel wearing server was quick to introduce herself and was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and gave a great vibe off the bat!! My friends and I saw multiple managers on the floor at all times making sure they knew what was going on and interacting with the entire staff. I got a bacon burger and jalapeño poppers, and had some buffalo tots too. Food was a solid 8/10. Ive had a better burger in Chicago but wonderful none the less. The jalapeños were in whole and stuffed deliciousness! Ill come back again with my boyfriend and hit up the whiskey flights and abundant choice of bourbon!!!!! The bar was so intriguing!!

Really cool place with some many things to see. From the year round Santa and his reindeer on the ceiling... to all the messages and names written on the walls leading to the bathrooms. As well as the nice surprise when you walk into the ladies restroom. I wont give that one away, youll have to visit to and see. The food was tasty but not the best Ive had. Their BBQ sauce is sweet, I personally like it. Really enjoyed the loaded nachos with the brisket on top, yum! It was also nice to "build your own bloody Mary". They have almost every fixing imaginable. I will stop top eat here again if Im in the area and looking for BBQ.
