The owners are a delightful family but that does not cut it when I am hungry. This is how to make migas: sauté some chopped onion & fresh tortilla pieces (not the kind dyed red) in a little oil. When the tortillas are crisp, pour in 2-3 eggs that have been beaten nice and creamy. DO NOT ADD MILK OR WATER TO EGGS. Gently stir when eggs start to stick to the sides. Add optional chopped jalapeňo, green peppers, cheese or chopped tomatoes. Cook and gently stir until eggs are done NOT STICKING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN. Serve with cilantro on top (not cooked with the eggs), 4 slices of avocado and fresh fruit. Serve with flour or corn tortillas and pico de gallo. A nice bowl of beans would be nice. Besides the migas being the worst I have even eaten, I had to refill my water & take my dirty plate off the table. We were not offered dessert or coffee.

This was the first time camping at Potters creek park and we loved it. We are coming back and bringing other friends with us. The camp grounds are clean everything is spaced out to were nothing is really close to you. The bathrooms are nearby with showers in them. If I had to have 1 thing I didnt like it would be that the bathrooms are too small for the amount of people that go need more than 2 showers per bathroom, but it was minor do to us having a large group with us. The waters in the lake look really clear and clean, no trash around the lake. I wish they would of placed sand in the swimming area to many rocks that make it harder to enjoy Make sure you have swimming shoes, but still good fun. Our kids are 9 and 6, but we had a large group with kids ranging in the 7-17 and they all had a blast.

I really enjoyed this park for RV camping. The park was partially closed from flooding that had occurred within the last several years and the repairs they were doing but I would definitely stay at this park again. The people managing the property was very nice and helpful and it was clean. We camping water front with electricity and water hookups. The bathrooms were close by. Just a word to wise though, the waterfront camping sites do not have shade trees so pack accordingly. We brought an extra popup canopy tent and fan and moved our hanging towels around based on the Suns position in the sky. It was a beautiful view!

This is a great place for people who have never been camping and are beginning to learn about life in the outdoors. This place has clean bathrooms and showers. Looks like every spot has an electrical outlet so you can plug your radio or electronic device. Best part is that I felt safe taking my family out there. Lots of people stay out there, so I felt very safe out there. Make sure to bring your charcoal in case they have a burn ban cause you wont be able to light a campfire if there is a ban. Good barbeque pits and spacious campsite give you good distance from neighboring campers. Had a great time.

Campground grass area is not maintained even around the restroom and sidewalks. A lot of sites are hard or impossible to back in because of trash containers and wood posts too close to road. Had to change sites after checking in and had to go through 3 ppl and 2 different phone numbers. If we could have gotten our money back we would have left and gone to a State Park.....where youre welcomed and parks are taken care of. Will probably not be going back. The restrooms are clean.

Best camping park on canyon Lake even though they have only opened one area since the major flood in may you can tent or rv camp, use the boat ramp and get a beautiful few, all for the most affordable price! Bathrooms and showers are amazing, this is the place to go camping at canyon Lake!

Great camping. Not an idea place for swimming. Clean showers and restrooms. Power and electricity at every camp site. Beware of weather changing in open non shaded areas. But I would return if I got a shaded area next time.

The water makes this area ugly. The water is muddy and nasty. You cannot see the bottom and the rocks in the water hurt. But they have nice clean restrooms and showers. If you wanna take a trip here get it in the shade.

Good park. Currently needs some repair from recent floods, but still open for RV users. Loop one is open for first come first serve only. No resevations.
