Came here to watch the Superman VS Batman movie at 11:30pm, and it wasnt a really good experience. Let me tell you how it started. I decided to take a walk to the theater instead of taking the bus because I thought Id be able to make it on time. And so I went walking all the way to the theater (a mile and a half or less). By the time I got there, it was a little past 11:30pm, and at that point I was worried that I was too late. So I went to the ticket booth and asked the guy inside if it was still possible for me to watch it. He said yes, and then I got the ticket and paid for it. But heres where it kind of makes me a little annoyed: the entire time I was there, the stupid guy was giving me a judging look. WHY????????????? Sure, I was sweating a little bit because of the walking I did earlier, but that still didnt give him the right to look at me like as if I was a horrible sight to look like. Looking at me like Im a crazy homeless man.... Then I got inside and started watching the movie. Now during the first half of the movie, someone (another movie goer) came in and sat one row behind me. At first, I though nothing of it, but then he started shaking the row of chairs that I was sitting in and apparently couldnt decide whether or not to put his feet up. Annoyed, I got up and moved one row down. During the second half of the movie, a few other movie goers kept getting off their sits (to get some more popcorns or sit somewhere else), and they kept getting in my view. I couldnt watch the movie comfortably without having to crane my neck abit once and a while. At this point, I was super annoyed, so before the movie ended, I got up and off my sit and just stood right in front of the exit until the movie was over (the exit was in the back of the viewing room). Its a good movie theater to go to if you wanna spend a little less on the tickets and save abit of money. But depending on what day it is and whos there, its not really recommended to come here if you can get annoyed by some other movie goers and not really nice ticket booth dude. And I DONT get annoyed that easily unless Im having a not really good day.

I had a very eerie visit to the movies today!! I was watched and followed by a man during the movie I came to see. I normally am not paranoid or even concerned about these types of situations, however, I am very aware of my surroundings, rightfully so!! I would love to explain in full detail, but that would take way to long! Let med just say that if I had not been as aware of my surroundings as I was and am, things probably would have turned out very different for me today!! I did talk with thed manager of the theatre making her aware of what was happening. She listened very carefully to what I had to say, and agreed that the situation was potentially dangerous, and required the full attention of all staff w/in the theatre. She also agreed to watch the situation carefully until the movie finished and I could safely exit the theatre with my mom and my niece!! My concern was that if he knew i complained about him, and he was aware it was me, that things could get much worse for me and my family. My request was that the staff watch closely until the movie was over, allowing me and my family to exit the theatre without incident! T hisx was muchb aporeciatedd and the staff all did very well!! Thank you AMC theatres!!

This was by far the most disgusting, filthy, gross and disappointing theater I have ever been to! I have been to other AMC movie theaters that were clean and wonderful and took pride in their business and building. THIS IS NOT THAT PLACE!! The trash cans were over flowing with trash, both inside and outside of the building. The restrooms were disgusting and needed clean. The floors were sticky and had not been cleaned and were covered in popcorn. The chairs squeaked, were sticky, and were ripped up to the point huge chunks of padding was missing! I felt gross sitting in them. The theaters literally smelled like urine. The popcorn had no flavor, you need to add your own butter and salt, but if your not careful it will be to much and ruin your popcorn. There is not one good thing to say about this place. Do not waste $20 on tickets and snacks, save your money and go to a clean, better quality theater where they take pride in their business.

So idk if drinking in public is legal now but there was a hobo who literally pulled a huge bottle of vodka out of his backpack and started chugging away; he proceeded to call the black hobo in front of us hateful things like the "n" word and mayate among other things. Not only was HE utter trash but his buddy in a wheel chair was obviously under the influence as well as he would NOT shut up about wanting 3 plain hot dogs from the lobby. I made the mistake returning to said lobby where I encountered the wheelchair hobo getting his hot dogs and discovered that the hobo pushing him was literally missing an eye; no eyepatch no nothing. I litterally couldnt make this stuff up. I guess take this place with a grain of salt. You only pay $2 to get in and see movies that have barely left the theatres; your life is at your own risk here with the riffraff they let in though. But you get what you pay for. $2 movies and a free sideshow!

Really great theater, I go here almost every 5 days just to see a movie, Their prices are cheap and thats how they keep getting money to keep it going its just that good, I mean who would want to go to a cinema for 20$ a ticket plus snacks and seats (depending on how popular the movie is) when instead you could go to Gateway 8 To see a movie for 2$ plus tax a ticket cheap snack prices and lots of seats plus clean theater, sure I mean the movies there all come out at least 2-3 months after the release at the Imax Theaters but thats just how they roll and its so worth the wait. And yes AMC has bought out Gateway 8 from Regal but its so much better, Im glad they did it. Anyway Gateway 8 is a great cinema for family and friends, if you want to see a cheap priced movie then this is the place to go, take it from me Ive been there a lot and its still a great theater since when I first came here in 2011!!

Five stars for VALUE value as cost of movies is drastically reduced at this location. TWO stars for cleanliness and seat comfort. There are eight (8) theaters and some are in worse repair than others. AMC Theatres recently bought this formerly Starplex cinemas, but no longer advertises which movies are playing on the street reader boards, thereby reducing the convenience of knowing what is playing. This has impacted my own frequency, just because of the added hassle to discover what is playing. The mobile app does not function well, either. As of this week (November, 2016) show times are reduced, eliminating the late evening shows. Last show time tickets sell for a 7:30pm showing. Im concerned they are eliminating customers, which will adversely affect their ability to stay in business. I hope the management turns things around.
