What sets this park apart for kids is that it has so much to do: -- kids playgrounds and climbing structures, -- swimming pool (it has an usual climbing wall on one side of the pool -- if you fall off, you splash down. -- basketball court, -- tennis court, -- baseball field, -- picnic tables, -- covered picnic area, -- my favorite, climbable trees. These trees are oaks that are spread out close to the ground. A kid could have fun climbing on these and not get more than 4 or 5 feet off the ground. There are two of these trees -- on opposite sides of the park. In addition to being a play space, we noticed a lot of people using them for photo backdrops for kids and even for adults

I loved this park and swimming pool. Nice location and beautiful park. The pool area is nice with only $1 admission for 11 years and younger and $2 for 11 and older. Staff is nice plenty of seats and shade if your wanting to get out of the heat. Bathrooms could be a little bigger but were built for children obviously not adults. But great all round place for play and swimming.

The pool is still up and running!!!! Pool Hours: Monday, Thursday, Friday: 1-6, with Adult Swim from 6-7 Saturday and Sunday: 1-6 The pool is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The pool offers swim lessons and a swim team. Just visit the pool and talk to one of the lifeguards to find out more!

This is a nice pool facility. Only open from June 6 to August 2. Thursday to Monday, 1-7PM. Adult swim (+infants) from 5:30 to 7. Chairs and chaises provided, along with floating noodles. Enjoy! It would be nice if it were open later in the year, but thats typical for the broke city.

$2 was a fair price but I wont be going back soon. The water quality is questionable and temp was too warm. It was almost bath water. And there is a not a lot of chairs or room for laying out. The small rock wall in the water is cool for kids.
