UPDATE FROM A LOCAL RESIDENT! LOW LOW QUALITY OF FOOD!! EVERYTHING IS FROM THE FREEZER!! BEWARE! This movie theater is a rip-off! DO NOT GO TO THIS MOVIE THEATER HUNGRY THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING AND CAN GET YOU SICK! I wish I had a chance to take photos of the food but it was dark and I did not want to be rude to the others sitting in the theater. We went to the movies last night 03/02/16 as a family knowing we would spend a good amount on food, hey it’s the movies it’s just how it is so we ordered quite a few things for 5 people. The so called “Hot Wings” are NOT HOT WINGS frozen chicken nuggets! They looked grey in color as if they were freezer burnt, the “GOOEY CINNAMON ROLL” are frozen cinnabon bites that are thrown into the microwave that are COLD in the middle when you try biting into them, the “HOT DOG” is literally a small sized grocery store hot dog that looks like it’s been on a heater for 6 hours before it was served to us, my fiancé took one bite of the hot dog and threw it away and that’s saying a lot for a man that eats almost anything! The food is WAY OVER PRICED FOR THE LOW LOW QUALITY OF FOOD THEY ARE SERVING AT THIS MOVIE THEATER. My suggestion to other customers is to drive a little further to Lynnwood to get a good experience at the movies! I hate to leave bad reviews but taking our family of 5 to the movies is supposed to be a good experience out and the food here just put a big damper on our night. 5 Movie Tickets, 3 Small Sodas, 1 Large Slurpy, 1 Large Popcorn, 2 Gooey Bites, 1 Hot Dog, 1 Nacho, 2 Candies, we clearly spent way over $100 and nothing was satisfying other than the sodas, the slurpy & the candy. ***I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT WE USE TO LIKE THIS THEATER BUT IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL VERY QUICKLY OVER THE PAST YEAR. Not just the food or being over priced but this theater is well over due for a makeover... its very dated & it smells. Could look past this but you charge way too much for what you are providing.

My kids bought me this purse that looks like a backpack. Its a small bag and not the size of a backpack but because it has straps so you can hang it on your back if you choose I guess the people there count it. They stopped me at the ticket taker where the 2 lines converge and in plain sight forced me to open my purse remove all the contents on their little ticket taker stand and turn it inside out afterwards. While I am dying of embarrassment and picking up a tampon that rolled off the table and on to the floor people are walking by staring. I have had this purse for years and usually have it only over one shoulder like a regular purse and was never put this through, but this one time I put both straps up over my back to make it easier to hold the extremely expensive large drink and popcorn I had. After all this we get to the theater and this lady brings out this huge bag 20 times bigger that was the size of a beach bag and starts bringing out bowls, and bags of homemade food for her 4 kids. Looking at the expensive food I got and all of her children I felt bad for them and decided not to say anything. Except at the end of the movie she leaves mountains of trash from her homemade picnic all over the chairs and floors, and actually climbs over the trash heap that extended the whole aisle(it was a shorter aisle) instead of picking up all her trash and scolding her children to do the same. When I am leaving I stop by one of the workers in the main walkway and tell them about the mess only to have them walk over to the person who had made me turn my purse inside out and start pointing and snickering. Needless to say I didnt feel so bad about the huge mess awaiting them. Guess they should have checked the 10 gallon bag instead of my little purse.

The first thing we noticed when going into theater 4 was the awful smell, it reminded me of a hot dumpster and the floors were so sticky you could hear it as we walked to our seats, i am suprised the Health Department hasnt made them clean this joint, bring hand sanitizer. Ah the seats what a treat, the arm rests were filthy and the fabric of the seats looked and smelled as if they had never been cleaned and they offered no comfort other than a place to set your rear the seat backs were very rigid and had no give to them. The auditorium felt very claustrophobic (sp) and dank creating quite a distraction making it very difficult to enjoy the movie. The movie itself was okay however the viewing experience left alot to be desired, the picture was washed out and out of focus during most of the film and the audio was well, weak. I wont even get into the concession prices or quality. The management of this "Theater" should take a lesson from the theaters in everett or lynwood and maybe they can get it right, plowing the building to the ground and starting over just might do the trick. Just imagine watching a movie in a hot dumpster and you will get an idea of the viewing experience you should expect. Rent a movie at home and you will have a better time than you will here. There is nothing "Regal" about the Marysville Regal 14.

Its a hit or miss whether you get your movie on one of their "big screens" or its in one of the tiny rooms with what isnt much bigger than a big screen TV. It can even be opening night of a big movie, like opening weekend of The Hobbit, and theyll put one of the showings in the little rooms. The seats are right up front by the screen where you have to arch your neck in a strange fashion to see the screen and then, its only the bottom portion you see and its all a big blur. Well, at least they give you your money back if the only seats left are the ones in the front row where you cant see. But if you ask about upgrading to the 3D version of the movie thats being shown 30 minutes later, and happen to ask about screen size, they tell you that its on the same size screen. What? The Hobbit on opening weekend is only being shown in the little rooms? OK, why are you charging $15 a ticket? I can go to a real movie theater that has full size screens for that. I know that some of the screens at the Marysville location are the full size screens in the full size auditoriums, but its a treat and very rare to end up with a movie that they are playing in those. Tired of the hit and miss and wasting my money. Wont be giving my money to the Marysville location again.

We usually go to Marysville Regal 14, so we must like it. The food is rather expenaive but the only way ANY theater makes money is off food and drinks. Tickets are only expensive because they have to pay that much to rent the movie. Their popcorn had much inprived the last 2 times we went here. I had stopped buyibg it for a while since 8t is over salted and wayyyyy too kuch small junk n seeds in it. Never is sifted good (anyone that works in a theater knows tbere are holes for seeds n junk to fall threw when they pop the popcorn. The employee just needs to sift threw the new popcorn for crud to fall threw). The theaters are fine. Seats could be remodeled but they are not major bad or anything. Would only do a 5 star if they were perfect. No ones perfect though, huh??!!
