This is a follow-up to my first review (below). Ive dropped another star from my rating. I havent been back to this theater in some time, but we returned because the movie we wanted to see was sold out elsewhere. It was the worst service experience we have ever had here. It may be the worst service Ive ever had anywhere. It was just a comedy of errors. Couldnt order any draft beer for some reason (something was broken). Drinks took nearly 40 minutes to arrive despite asking where they were several times - were almost done eating when they showed up. Ordered orange juice for my daughter and they brought pineapple juice without bothering to ask what wed prefer instead. My daughter doesnt like pineapple juice so that was a waste. Food was dropped off and we realized they didnt leave any utensils or napkins, so had to push the light to ask for those. They got my dinner order wrong. My wifes onion rings were completely cold so we asked for some fresh ones. They charged us for two onion ring orders (we complained and they took the other order off our bill before we paid). I asked for a second drink for myself and a water for my daughter - they brought mine but not the water. The Studio Movie Grill at City Centre has MUCH better service. And again, another old problem: the movie next door was SO LOUD, the bass would vibrate my seat. It was just incredibly distracting at first, until the absurd volume of our movie drowned it out. Original post below. I have been taking my family here fairly regurlarly, but my last visit I really noticed how dirty and run down it is getting. Things like bad smells in the theater (they need to steam clean the floors), dirty and torn seats, broken call buttons, loose faucet in the bathroom, some sticky surfaces. This on top of small screens and insufficient noise insulation between theaters or movies being played too loudly (hearing booms from the movie next door). Last movie I saw there (jungle book) was really inappropriately loud, my little boy had his hands over his ears for much of it. Have had decent service, some occasional minor order mess ups. Food is okay. Resevable seats is a nice feature. Going to find another theater, however.

My, actual, review will come shortly. I just wanted to reply to the negative reviews here, as complaining about having to pick your seats when you buy your tickets (kinda like Ticketmaster) is insane. It shows you on the screen which seats are already taken and which arent, so, you can pick a less crowded location. If people decide to choose seats around you after-the-fact, well, this happens at a regular theater, too! Not holding much water here. In addition, this location has food right on par with a Chilis, Red Robin, or Applebees. MUCH better than any other theater food, and not much more! -------NOW FOR MY REVIEW !! ----------- Excellent management! We were ready to convert to the other movie grill place, as we had purchased groupons that were a bit deceiving in stating they did not expire. Once we realized that they had, indeed, expired and would be unable to use 6 of the tickets.....I was a bit upset. Groupon was unwilling to refund or renew, so, I went to the Studio Movie Grill and was pleasantly surprised by a wonderful manager (younger heavy-set gentleman) who quickly stopped my explanation and stated that they would honor ALL of my expired coupons AND gave us passes to enjoy our movie that day for FREE!! Winning me back made me, now, loyal to this location ONLY for ALL of our movie outings, and I praise them every chance I get to others. If you are in customer service, please take this post seriously. It is NOT about what you lose that day, but what you gain in the future. This is called "building a pipeline of business". By making early investments with high quality customer service, you feed your referral and retention business. By advertising, you feed your new business. WELL DONE, STUDIO MOVIE GRILL, WELL DONE!!! Sincerely, a current Senior Marketing Consultant and history of Senior Retail Management. Most of all, a WELL EDUCATED CONSUMER!

I have lived in the Copperfield area for 10years and ALWAYS enjoyed going to this place. However I have to say this past year the service has been so, oh so bad. I put up with the fact that their carpet smelled moldy during the summer of 2012 & 2013. Tolerated the greasy counters that never seemed clean. Even gave them the benefit of the doubt when my orders were always wrong. But my last visit there last weekend was by far the worst. The waitress was rude, and interrupted me while I was trying to give her my "refill" order which she never brought our drinks. My kids and I were thirsty and we decided to let it go since I already had my ticket, and just hoping that they would come back with our refills. Their gourmet popcorn is no longer great.. now it has that stale taste to it. I would never order their ceviche wraps because Im afraid to get sick from it. I dont believe they handle food properly. The glass of wine I ordered was not even filled to the middle line where it is supposed to... and actually it is supposed to be filled close to the top (most places do) yes I will complain about the amount it is served in the glass, specially when the glass of wine is $8.00. And no spoons were brought with our ice-cream. Has anyone tried to eat ice cream with forks? I can honestly say, my children, nor my girlfriends and I will ever go back to this place again. Very disappointing experience.

Ordered my tickets online and the process was very easy and convenient. However, the actual experience once I arrived was not very pleasant. The theater where our movie was playing was extremely hot. It felt as if the air conditioning wasnt on at all. We asked our server about it and he said he would alert the manager. It remained very hot throughout the movie. When we placed our order the server seemed in a poor mood and was short and rude to us. Mind you, we were one of 9 people in the theater at that time. It took 15 minutes to receive our drinks. I understand that the server might be helping guests in other theaters, but 15 minutes to receive drinks is a bit long, even for the most patient. Furthermore, the server who initially took our order wasnt even the server who brought our drinks, food, or check. Upon receiving the bill is when I became the most irritated about the entire experience. Each beverage cost $3.50! $3.50! We werent even approached and asked if we would like a refill. We did, however, press the service button and request refills for our drinks about 30 minutes from the end of the film and never received them. Its a bit annoying to be paying $3.50 for a soda when you dont even receive a refill. Its the principal. I may not have needed, or even wanted for that matter, a refill, but to charge someone such a premium and not provide the courtesy is a bit ridiculous.

Well I have been going to this location just about 2 years and they still seem to not be able to get it right. Tonight was definitely one of those nights. We ordered the 2 for $25 meal as I am sure all Studio Grill junkies are familiar with. The appetizer once again for the fourth time came out at the same time as the entree. When we questioned the person about it he began to give us a plastic explanation while giving us a look like we better take this order the way its served and enjoy our movie. We expressed our dismay and he rolled his eyes and stated to our server "girl you want me to keep this ticket for you". I initially wanted to mop the floor with his face but I promised my girl I will no longer act that way in public. We politely removed ourselves and as we were exiting we luckly ran into Charles. Charles is the GM of the place whom has 20 years of experience and it surely showed as he was accommodating and he patiently listen to our gripe. He assured us he would speak with our [special] friend and provided us with movie passes and requested that we ask specifically for him next time that we decided to visit his establishment. He even asked that we stay, and he stated our meal/movie would be on him. We politely declined and made our way to finish the rest of our evening at the Macaroni Grill on 1960 at Willowbrook (see my review for the turn of outcome)
