This is still a pretty good theater. While most other places are switching to the leather lounge chairs, this one still has a ton of seating. I cant say I was 100% comfortable though but Im a large guy. The sound and video quality was good and we saw a sneak preview of The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2. The theater is well kept nice, clean and comfortable and we had a pretty good time. All except for the guy in front of me who wouldnt stop checking his phone and the people who thought it acceptable to bring their baby to the theater. The audience was even told that if any ushers see any phones on during the feature, they would escort that person out of the theater but I guess they never saw the guy in front of me. Finally after a large explosion, the baby went from constant gibberish to a full on cry and one of the parents had to take them out of the theater. Next time get a babysitter! Overall however, this AMC Loews theater is a good place to catch a flick. I know that there will always be those problem people whenever I go to any theater which is why I seldom go to the theaters anymore but you cant teach people common sense and courtesy seems a thing of the past. If you go to a movie here, I hope you get a great seat and have a great experience. Thanks for reading.

I have mixed feelings when it comes to watching a movie at Alderwood. On the plus side the theaters have great screens, great sound systems, and they have a garage that always has plenty of parking. Lot of variety as far as concessions as well (ice cream check, candy check, slurpee check). The negative is that the service here is always questionable. The people that work here dont seem to be in love with their jobs, service is always slow, and last time I was there I got carded to see a rated "R" movie. I didnt get carded to see rated are movies when I was a teenager so why in the world would someone do that now when I dont look anywhere remotely close to 17. Hello guys this isnt a bar.

Got in line for concessions, in the non premiere line, after waiting 10 min. left the line and went into the movie. The concession people were taking only premiere people as they walked up..so if anyone was in line in the premiere line no one was helped in the non premiere line ..... there policy is help 2 premiere one non premiere...I think they forgot there policy this morning because they were not helping anyone other than premiere people....I wonder how much business they lost..we walked out of line and I noticed at least 3 other families did too....I will definitely be considering which theatre I go to next time.

Went to see Pirates "Dead Men Tell No Tales" Friday opening night, 5 PM showing. Unfortunately the movie had glitches in sound quality. The staff was very accommodating in trying to reset and even rewind 10 minutes. In the end, an hour into the movie, no amount of resetting allowed us to finish the movie in that theater. They gave us passes for that first interruption and another set after leaving the theater, even offering a refund of price of tickets. We went back the following day changing it up in Dolby theater. Nice renovation!! Best experience for the movie goer on this holiday weekend. Thank you.

It was really bad and poor in this Lynwood location. We bought our tickets for the Dobly experience and it was really disappointing. You pay a little more for a "better movie experience" based on better seat and an amazing sound. Well, and it was really really bad, no sound and the seats didnt work at all. At least on this Saturday it was terrible. If you want to have this real Dobly experience, please go to the AMC Dobly at Woodinville. I even wish I can have my money back. Im so disappointed because I really used to enjoy coming to this cinema. Also the customer service was terrible!

We arrived 1 hour before the showing of "Your Name" and our tickets (bought through Fandango) showed auditorium 7. We were concerned because it looked like the previous movie was going to run beyond the start time of 6:30 so we verified with an employee that Your Name would be in auditorium 7 and they assured us it would. 6:30 came and the previous movie was still going. We asked again and at that point were told that it had moved to auditorium 12. We missed the first part of the movie despite our attempts to verify which is extremely frustrating.

Guess I havent been to a theater in a while but this place was really nice. Seats were big enough to sleep in with enough room for people to easily walk down the rows of seats. The disappointment came with the price of everything. Took my two boys to see the new star wars. Tickets: $18, "large" popcorn: $9 (buy did have free refill), 16oz bottle of water: $4. Thats $30 each to go see a movie!!!

Great theater. AMC is so much better than Regal. The bathroom is NOT outside, obviously that person doesnt understand what theyre talking about. There IS a bathroom on each bank of theaters (and one in the lobby), and its not too far, and seriously, who doesnt go right before the movie and cant hold it for 2-2.5 hours? No problems with this theater. Morning matinees are $6!! Awesome deal.

Out dated (old screens, old seats), over priced and dirty (theater and bathrooms)! Popcorn tasted like it was made from the night before, and no one restocked the napkins or butter station. This is the third time in a row Ive had a bad experience at this theater. Wont be back till they change things!!!

All areas were very dirty, the screens were small and no option to upgrade to a bigger and better screen. sound quauality was bad. No ticket attendant, also the movie selection is small. Used to love this theater but over the years it had gone way downhill, ill take my money to barkley from now on.

Paid for an IMAX showing of Interstellar, instead got to enjoy a standard digital projector overzoomed to an IMAX-size screen. E.g. I got to watch a long shot of a spaceship be represented by 5 pixels. Even the title font was clearly pixelated. IMAX apparently only refers to screen size here.

Do you hate the mall? You should. If you read my other reviews, youll start to notice a trend. However, this theater is pretty good. Its decently clean, well maintained, the ticket prices are ok, and ... yeah. If you want a theater that you can park at and to watch a movie.

They have a few IMAX theaters, but they typically only offer 3D viewings of the big films coming through. Would like to see more 2D showings in the larger IMAX theaters, personally. The smaller rooms have updated seats that recline slightly more than those in the IMAX theaters.

Great movies, good sound system. But they have some serious sanitation issues. Bathroom is nasty, and the floor in the theatre was sticky. Rules of the theatre were poorly enforced, people were kicking seats, talking, and on their phones. Okay experience.

This is the theater we attend most often. The chairs are comfortable, and the concession and ticket lines move fast. They usually show the good marathons and special events, but if you come for a premier, dont expect parking, and arrive plenty early.
