I had a very poor experience wit the AMC located at Crystal Run. My husband and I planned on taking our daughters and God daughter to see Zootopia on Saturday 3/12. I had 2 movies passes that were provided to me by my job, and with the new reserved seating I had some questions. We wanted purchase tickets ahead of time to make sure that the movie would not sell out. My husband called to ask how can we go about reserving seats and using the passes a woman named Corrine I believe answered the phone. She asked us if we could hold for a moment, we ended up holding for several moments and then got hung up on. When we called back nobody answered. We rushed to get to the theater and when we got there the movie was sold out. The associate Danielle who assisted us was very pleasant. We explained the experience we had on the phone and she offered to grab her manager. We then told the manager what happened and her response was "ill speak to her". At this point, that wasnt good enough of an answer for someone with 3 kids dying to go into a movie. When she could tell I was not satisfied with her response she said "AMCs biggest thing is to not answer the phones bc of online self help options". What?! I work for customer service - I take escalated calls daily. Who tells someone who is already upset pretty much "my associate should have never answered your call"?!! We ended up going back and forth, my husband even got involved. This manager provided us information to contact her DM. When we called the number provided, there was no way to leave a message, and guess what? Nobody answered! We ended up leaving and taking our children to the palisades. 100% better service.

This is by far the most disgusting movie theater I have ever set foot in. My girlfriend and I went to see the Avengers tonight which I was very excited for. We were going to see the 9:20 show in theater 15, as we approached the entrance the garbage can was stacked 2 feet with overflow garbage, no exageration...gross! We shrugged it off and went in but the inside was just as bad, garbage everywhere. This was around 9:05 so I went upstairs to seek out a manager when I got there I asked for the manager and explained that it was disgusting. The manager replied, I didnt get her name, she was a bigger girl with red hair, "Well thats because everyone keeps coming to see Avengers and I had to remove my floor guy but Im sending him down now." There is no way she ever intended to send someone down there as it was 10 minutes until showtime. I walked down to the theater and shortly after the gentleman I just saw upstairs came in and saw the mess and I quote said "Oh S***, this is really bad" then stated "between you and me she never should have taken me off the floor" yeah no s*** buddy! Needless to say I spoke to my girlfriend and decided we couldnt stay as there was no way that the theater would be cleaned in time. We went upstairs to ask for our money back which they obliged but the manager was still sitting on her butt, never checked out the mess. She asked me if he had gotten down there yet and I told her yes but it wouldnt be done by 9:20 to which another employee replied "well thats only when the preview starts." That was all I could take of their lack of attention, maintenance, and service so I walked out.

Ive lived in this region for almost 20 years and I have to say that in all the years that AMC Loews has been operating I can say with a good amount of certainty that they never ever looked as good as they do these days. Though they still have a little more construction to do on the lower level they have made some huge strides in appearance and comfort. They changed out those ugly uncomfortable red seats that had no movement except to put the seat up and down to these extra comfortable electric recliners now with so much more leg room, makes you feel like your flying in first class on an airplane. I love the all around new look of the cashier and concessions spaces. The only thing they need to work on like I saw mentioned here is their staffing. The day I went though it was a Monday there was only 2 people there 1 at the cashiers desk and one at the concession stand and there were a few people having to wait a little, but no biggie AMC Loews Galleria has come a LONG WAY from where they were to now even with the ongoing construction. The place looks and feels so much better now even the bathrooms got a facelift! 2 thumbs up to AMC for making these huge changes!

I went to the AMC at Crystal Run Galleria in middletown NY to see Sausage Party. It was the last show of the evening. I Purchased tickets and went to the concession stand, and asked for mozzarella sticks and a large sprite. The clerk informed me that their fryer was already turned off. I am very understanding but why would the fryer be turned off when movies are still starting? If you turn it off 30 minutes into the last movie ok, i get that. But to completely shut off half of your concession board with hot food is a little awkward. I asked for a manager and she just stood there and said "ok", with no help or solution. I refused to purchase anything. I then met another young lady who presented herself as a manager and again she tried to justify they fryer being off by saying it needed to be "cleaned". When I asked for a district manager, she refused to tell me anything. This is unacceptable. I will not be returning. Due to the fact that the managerial staff is incompetent in problem solving and customer care. Whatever you do dont go to this theater late at night.

This AMC theater is currently under construction and is operating at half or limited capacity. Only the lower level theaters are open and those are the older theaters. There is nothing on-line or outside the theater, on the recorded line or or on third party movie ticket sites that says there is construction, or that the theater is operating at half capacity, yet they are charging full price as if the theater was running at full capacity. Basically its false advertising and the theater experience is not the same as it was. My advice is do not go here while it is under construction. Here is my experience. My daughter and I went to the 10am Pan show on October 10, 2015. The were no previews, the movie started at 10:20am, the popcorn was burnt and they didnt turn off the lights. This was supposedly because this was a "sensory," theater. I talked to the manager, Lindsey who refused to give out her last name or who owns the AMC franchise. She was unsympathetic and argued with me. Overall it was one of the worst movie experiences I have ever had. Go to Chester or somewhere else.

I would like to let you know that your employee Sabrina went above and beyond to assist me!! My husband and I went to your theatre on Saturday night to see a movie and ended up leaving early. When I got home I realized I had left my wallet there. I called and finally got through, Sabrina answered and I informed her about my situation and she was so polite and said she would go and check to see if it was there. You were very busy and she put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and informed me that they had not found it yet but they were still looking. She said to hold on for a few more minutes and she would personally go check and see if she could locate it. She returned a few minutes later and informed me they had found it!! I was beyond thrilled and thankful she went out of her way to help look for it. I manage a Arts and Crafts store and I know how hard it is to find good help and a caring associate. Sabrina is that associate !!! And should be recognized!! Thank you so much Sabrina!!! Your Awesome!!!
