We were the first people in the theater and purchased premium seats. We arrived 45 minutes prior to showing to order food and get settled in. We were the first to place our order and people began to pour in after. We got our food after everyone else i the theater despite being the first to order. Movie was 30 minutes in and I had to ring again to ask where our food was at. Manager came over and told us the food was on the way they were "just busy " I asked I understand you are busy but we were the first ones to place an order and everyone else in the theater has received their food before us. I had a 9 & 10 yr old who were hungry and wondering why everyone was getting their food except us. He said he would check. Our food came out 20 minutes later mid movie!!!! Needless to say I was pissed as we intentionally arrived 45 minutes ahead of movie time to eat so we could enjoy our movie. We received a $75 dollar ticket!!! No comp, no apologies for anything. Management is awful and service was awful. Not to mention the fried cheese was burned and we received 1 napkin to share between 3 people. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is trying to have a smooth family visit. After paying $32 dollars for 1 adult and 2 kid entrances..... plus $75 dollars for food only to receive crappy service, I think I would rather order an expensive steak dinner and watch this at home on my firestick!!!!! I can definitely cook better than these scumb bags!!!

My wife and I went to see Eclipse during a Tuesday afternoon in the summer. The theater wasnt packed with screaming kids and was very nice. The seating is comfortable, although I wished they would recline just a bit. The food was very good and reasonable for theater food! We thought they had a good selection and actually had some of the BEST chili cheese fries ever, even better than Sonic! The bruschetta was wonderful as well. Service was quick, then again patronage was very light since it was a Tuesday and they had just opened for the day. The only downside we can think of is they need a bit more sound proofing between the theaters. We could hear the occasional rumble of the film playing next door. We will return here often. Its nice to combine a "Dinner and a Movie" into one event. Leaves you plenty of time to do other activities (we went bowling afterward).

Been going here for awhile and like it alright. The theater needs to be remodeled in order to improve the enjoyment of going to a dine in movie. Pros: -Good food and usually good service. -No kids running around. Cons: -Tables are too far from where you sit to eat comfortably. -Tables, button panels, & chairs are in disrepair. Suggestions: Dining: Learn from other profitable dine-in theaters and use a similar dining situation so that it is comfortable to eat. Lightning: Add personal lighting to see the menu and have it to where the house lights can be dimmed further. A red light would be perfect, so your eyes can adjust to the dark and not take away from the screen. Do not let the cons or suggestions take away from going to this theater. Im hoping they continue to do well and hopefully improve and repair.

The Cinema is really going in the right direction. Although I did not eat on this trip, I checked out the happiness of the others who were eating, and I must give it a try on my next trip. The waitress coming to you seat in the theatre, a full bar, and a menu with many choices, well that is something to look forward too. So back to the movie house. The Seats are quite comfy and with the tables in the theatre the spacing is very nice. The bathroom is a real gem. This kind of bathroom would normally be found in a million dollar house or a 5 star hotel. Impressive indeed. I need another movie with me eating to continue my report! Oh for my next trip to Conroe and Houston. See you again with an full update then.

Was completely denied the opportunity to see a movie as all persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. My girlfriend and I are both 17 and were there to attend a PG-13 movie but were not allowed in. It seems completely ridiculous to block off teenagers from being able to see movies, especially if people should be getting carded when purchasing alcohol anyways. With the cinema being right next to a mall you would logically assume it would allow teenagers. Just from a purely businesses standpoint, this theatre is missing out on a huge demographic. Maybe the high prices are compensation for the young consumers theyve been turning down.

Im lost as to what it seems some people will complain about. Fandango updates their movie times, not the individual theaters, they DONT ALLOW children under the age of 5, you should be lucky they didnt laugh at you and tell you to go elsewhere. Oddly enough, thats posted ON the box office, I guess someone was too busy throwing a fit over $5.50 then bothering to read. The front of their menu clearly states the food can take up to 45 minutes.....Im thinking its more a lack of reading skills then you blaming someone else. =) Come on the weekday, if its not over the summer your guaranteed to be one of maybe 10 people in the theater.

First trip to Star Cinema. Very Disappointed. Went to see Jurassic World rated PG-13. SCG has a policy they do not allow anyone children under 3 into the theater at all and then only allow children 3-5 into G and PG movies. Needless to say SCG does not follow their own policy. There were small children throughout the theater, talking and crying when the dinosaurs started eating people. What is wrong with people! Also, the food was over priced for what is served. The seating was poor. The wait staff walking in front of the screen throughout the movie was distracting. Overall, not impressed. Dont waste your time.

This theater has horrible show times. Both times we went there the service was absolutely terrible. I was brought the wrong food 4 times. 4 times!! They finally brought our food as the movie was freaking ending... The second time I went there, they ignored us and straight up didnt bring our food out. Weve always liked dine in theaters, but this one is not like the others. Earliest showing of John Wick 2 (you know, probably the biggest hit at the box office right now) is at 4pm... What the F... Movie Tavern, Alamo Draft House and Studio Movie Grill are all worth the drive over this place.

Attempted to take my family out to movies and allow my 15yr olds to see a PG movie while my husband and I went to see a different movie -- seems star cinema doesnt need the money since no one under 18 allowed to even watch a G rated movie without adult in the same theater with them -- forget being in the building w another ticket wAtching another movie -- nope had to have a parent physically in the same room -- did not give me my full Amy back on movie either very rude and didnt care they lost business which from looks of it they needed Will not go back to Controe location
