Normally I dont have a problem. I have been to this cinema maybe 60 times I the last 3 years. That being said............ Wow......... The Terminator Genisys world premier was last night. After working all day and gettibg home to rake a shower and get three kids ready for this flick. well, to say the least I was excited. The original came out my senior year in high school. Popcorn, check, candy, check, kids and the bathroom, check........Good seats?????? well, there where us five and four other people in the theatre so we had our pick. Talking, nervous chatter, the lights finally dimmed. Here come the dreaded previews. Yayyyyyyyyy, theyre over. The paramount logo, the dolby stereo, the 3D, we were ready. A huge white egg showed up on the screen, it started to crack, What! a dinosaur? THIS WAS JURASSIC WORLD!!!!!!!!!! A good flick, but I was here a week ago Thursday to play part in ITS billion dollar run. After a quick trip o the night manager things were finally ready. Another 20 minute wait. The young lady come in with the news. " Technical difficulties, there will be no movie tonight!" She requested that we come to the concession counter as the ticket booth was already closed. I paid f$52.25 for my tickets via credit card and she offered $46 because " that was her only 5 ticket transaction". After using her calculator she gave me $51.05. I spent almost $40 on popcorn and candy for me and the children. I surely didnt get these items to be consumed in my car. the ATTITUDE was unreal. Obviously she was ready to go home. Just a side not....... This was the 9:45PM showing, did nobody go to the 7:00 PM show. As far as my 25 minute drive to the theatre........ Well, if you are going to visit this cinema dont expect much and take your time. Ive tried to call the Manager "Jeremy" all day and left several messages as well as an email. Guess what.... NO RESPONSE. I can tell where the customer service training comes from. Enjoy your night at the movies..... if you can......

Hi! Will keep short. Im legally hearing impaired. I was happy that now I get a headset to enhance the volume. I arrived early and 2 minutes into the movie, a woman taps me on my shoulder and asked me if I am gonna to wear the headset the entire movie. Im very good at reading lips. I explained to the mid-50s that Ian hearing impaired and I need them to watch the movie. She then says its too distracting. You see there is a real little red botton for it to be on. I was so embarrassed. I about cried. So I looked around and their were so many open seats...so I kindly turned around and said if its bothering you, you dont have behind me. Then her husband comes out me and gets in my face and points his finger and says you move. I said nothing else. I left. I went to the lady manager who gave me the headsets in the first place with tears running down my eyes, she said whats wrong? I told her. She said come with me...I took her to my seat and show who they were..the husband said nothing and reading what I could she explained that I needed them to hear the movie. I looked at her and asked her should I just leave or move. She says no, you stay right there. 2 minutes later..she came with different headset with a little dimmer light and a free pass. I was very touched. I enjoyed the movie expect them kicking my seat 3 times. After it was over..i returned the headset and gave her a hug. I meant no harm to anyone. I just wanted to watch the movie too. Remember I was there 30 minutes early too. So Im thankful for her because its already embarrassing at times because I cant hear and if you call me names or make fun of me, thats your choice but remember I will never ever do that to you. Eek sorry so long. Thank you for letting me share my review. 5 stars to a great pretty manager.

The staff is always courteous and helpful. The concession stand prices are fine. I realize if it werent for the concession stand, the theater couldnt afford to operate. I like the Ridge Cinema 8. Only gave it three stars because my problem is the people who go to the movies. They evidently have a need to be seen and heard. Every time I go to a movie, someone is acting out, or being rude to the concession stand people, and, more often than not, talking during the entire movie. I find this extremely irritating! Im now to the point where I ask people to stop talking. I dont understand why people are so rude and/or act like fools. During the slides before the coming attractions, texting and talking on the phone are discouraged as is making a video of the movie. A distinct slide concerning talking during movies should be added. Other than that, the Ridge Cinema 8 is a great theater!

Usually this place is very good. I would typically give a better review. However we decided to have a birthday party here for a 12 year old boy last Saturday . The hostess was horrible. I wont put her name on here, but she should really learn better manners. I had to go to her and ask for everything. She never came to the room once. Every time I asked a question she was rude and very "cocky" with her answer. Lets remember that this is a 12 yr olds party so there isnt much that I could be asking for. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the manager did come and check on us and tried his best to make us comfortable. HE made sure we got our popcorn, drinks, candy...HE directed us to the theater. Not sure what the hostess issue was and if she reads this know that I said a prayer for you. You really should learn to treat people better.

I have stopped going to this theater. Its a shame I have to drive to Pensacola for a clean theater with cupholders that arent broken and fresh popcorn. I dont recall it being so bad a few years ago, but now the floors are always sticky, theres popcorn in the floor, and a ton of the arm cupholders are broken. I might be sympathetic to some popcorn on the floor, but I often go to the first shows of the day, and its already there. So they dont clean the theaters at the end of the day. Its made me skeptical of the 3D glasses as well. By contrast, I went to the Rave on Bayou Blvd today. No popcorn on the floor, and no broken cupholders or sticky feeling on the bottom of my shoes. Oh, and the seats were more comfy, there was more legroom, better speakers, and better screens.

the customer service is TERRIBLE & RUDE. We didnt realize she was talking 2 us cuz she had someone else in front of her so we thought she was helping them not us. So she wasnt only being rude 2 us but also 2 the women in front of her who thought she was taking her order but really was ringing up ours. She kept cutting us off & telling us the $ b4 we were done ordering. Then on top of that when she gave me change she just throw it at me wo a ty or anything & went back 2 the women in front of her. They were busy & only 1 cash register open. About 30mins after the movie started my husband went 2 get something else & they closed the snack area. If I could give them 0 *s I would.
