The park itself was alright, there were quite a few rides. I went with kids ranging in ages 3-9 and all had a pretty good time. However, the park looked old and more than a little dirty. The bathrooms were DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. The staff was literally the worst I had ever encountered in an amusement park EVER. Most of the workers were extremely rude and very nasty, even yelling at young children. The majority of them did not even check to ensure children were strapped into the rides properly, nor did they bother to help little ones into and out of the rides. They also didnt have nearly enough workers for every ride. Many of them werent checking height requirements-- I saw a child go on a ride that he was literally ten inches too short for. These miserable workers are putting the safetly of children at risk, and thats why I give this park a big fat 0 rating, and I will NEVER go there again.

Today was my first time at Keansburg and Im so glad i DID NOT listen to the bad reviews on this website! I took my mother,my son(7)and cousin(13) and we had an amazing time! They have a special wristband discount at buy one get one free on this day(Thursday) along with Mondays and Wednesdays. We were able to spend time at the amusement park as well as the water park. The staff was very patient and kind, the food prices werent too bad I suggest walking around to get a feel of the prices. The kids had a blast and so did my mother and i, there were plenty of rides and there is also a beach near-by. (We didnt visit the beach ) The drive was about an hour away but it was worth it! The parking was $5(weekday) and very close to the park. Take your family, mine had a great time.

So glad the boardwalk is here again. I had , and still have many good times coming here. It was the place to be growing up along the shore. We have a tradition of going ever Easter rain or shine with our moms and whomever is with us . When I was younger it was a great date place and still is when hubby and I want a little fun without traveling far. I have fond memories and continue to make more. As far as cleanliness is concerned its no worse than most bathrooms in any store or mall given the workers mostly earn tips. Besides the filth in most public restrooms is because of theb public! Clean up after yourself. All in all its worth the trip if you want to have a low key day in a fun place. Come see for yourself and enjoy what a little gem we have. :-)

I would love to give this place a 5 star rating but I just cannot. This town surrounding Keansburg has always been ghetto as hell. You think they would clean up the streets; instead of just rebuilding the water park. They need to make the ride selection bigger as well. Its been the same rides for 20+ years. We all know whoever has been coming here since they were a kid, arcades dont have the flair they used to have. Its more about how many kids we can get smoking cigarettes on the boardwalk (or streetwalk) and obnoxious racist kids talking about people as they walk by. I would love to change this review in due time but I can tell you that the future of Keansburg is pretty friggen grim.

My family has been going to Keansburg Amusement Park since the children were small (now 21 year old twins). The price is right, its clean, theres plenty of fun things to do and its the right size for a family with small children - even older ones too! We especially love the arcades - Bev & Wallys is the best. They have great prizes at reasonable ticket redemption. Its only the first week of June and Ive already won a vacuum and a toaster! There arent a lot of healthy food choices, so if you are worried about that, pack a lunch. There are however, lots of great snacks and boardwalk food at reasonable prices. Its a lot of fun at a reasonable price.

I love this place. theres about 3 bars on the boardwalk that are very very cheap. Many games to play--which are a HUGE rip off. There a parking lot on the side of the boardwalk/next to the "beach" which have $7 all day parking. IF you wanna save a buck, you can easily find street parking. Also, plenty of cheap fast food places to eat on the boardwalk. During the day theres a pier you can walk down for $1. The rides are kinda lame, but it wouldnt hurt to jump on one or two..it isnt no 6 flags but gets the job done. Its trashy, but fun...i think everyone should take a stroll over here and have fun for a few hours =)

I have been going to this park for over the past 27 years and some how I feel its lost what it once was in the 90s. Alot of the park is missing that rustic feel it once had, everything is way over priced now from claw machines to prize stands. Video games have diminished and have been replaced by an overwhelming amount of over priced claw machines. Maybe it because I am a bit older now but I remember have a much better time years ago and from the declined amount of persons I now see attending this once great attractions I can see that its not just me.

Took my 2 yr old nephew here and wish we hadnt wasted our time. Because he is 30" tall there was not one ride he could go one and when we spoke to one of the ticket sellers to find out if there was even one ride he could enjoy we were given attitude. Looking back now I am happy they said he couldnt ride anything, none of the ride workers were paying attention to the riders instead of their phones or any other distraction and none of the rides looked like they had been properly serviced from all the rust, squeals and bangs coming from them.

I used to go there a long time ago and I feel its still the same. Im not one to talk since I havent been to the amusement park in over 2 years but it definitely is a great place to go with the family. I must warn you though, its not really nice there in the school season. (september - may because of the low amount of people). When I was last there I did see a few problems with the park as the paint was thinning and not enough places were open but I heard they renovated it so it might be better than it was at that time.

i was thrilled to use the go karts because my son is a car fanatic... but.. I think its too xpensive for just 5 min which didnt enjoy cuz everytime sum1s car turned they stopped the whole thing which took time off so it was too fast for 8 dollars.. and food is xpensive too. but other than that they had few good rides and the water park wasnt that bad and I like that the beach area is in the back but.... the water was soo filthy on the left side of the fishing pier the right side wasnt as dirty..

Im from NY so the park was not worth the drive. The parks were small. The water rides were pretty good. However, the life guards were RUDE. They threw the tubes at people and little kids. They yelled at my 10 year old sister for not getting out the pool fast enough. I have been to many amusement parks such as, six flags, dorney park, splish splash ect., and the employes were soo nice. The experience was not that great at Keansburg Amusement Park...
