Movies 14 is absolutely beautiful !!! Employees are courteous, respectful & child friendly :) However, concession stand is ectremely overpriced to the max. Personally I feel if they would be more realistic w/ prices, they would sell more, make more & entice people to want to purchase their snacks. You end up paying more for snacks for your family then the whole cost of tickets. Come on movies 14, dont be overly greedy. Dont take advantage of your patrons. Its not a elegant dining, its junk food ( candy, popcorn & soda, old dried up hot dogs & pretzels ). Hopefully management makes changes for the better. Time will tell :/ Also when you take your child to a PG or PG 13 movie, stop showing previews of rated R movies. Why expose children to rated R previews, when the movie is unacceptable to their age group... Hopefully things change for the better. This beautiful movies theatre deserves to do better. The popcorn was old, when i went inside the theater it smelled, and on top of that they kept the lights on during the whole movie! I went out to tell the workers 5 minutes into the movie, and they daid thwy would fix it. That never happened, so I sent my boyfriend out there 20 minutes into the movie. They told him they are working on it. 30-35 minutes later I went to the bathroom, and i saw the manager and asked him if there was something wrong with the lights, and if they can turn them off. He told me (ignorantly). They have to keep the lights on in the theater due to safety issues. Whn i told him the othet issues, and said that is the reason I like the theater on Montage Mt. better he told me "thats your prerogative". They refused to give me my money back saying I watched an hour of the movie, and didnt care that I complained from the beginning. They were very rude. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I love this movie theatre! It is reasonably priced if you show up early enough, its never too crowded, the movies always start on time and run without issue, and the facility is clean. The lines for concessions get long if its opening weekend or youre attending an evening movie, but thats to be expected. Oh, and they boast having D-Box seats for cinematic immersion. Ive never tried it, but its cool to have the option! Dont show up too early for your movie though, because the parking validations only cover 3 hours. If your movie runs longer than 2.5 hours and you showed up 15-20 minutes early, expect to pay extra for parking.

This movie theater is cheaper that the theater i used to go. Seats are very comfortable with individual armrest. I watched the expandables 2 and the sound quality was was stellar. You can feel the vibrations of bullets going off. Makes the experience whole much better. The game room is very modern and pleasant. They have 4 restrooms. 2male and 2 female. I come from nyc. So i base my experience in comparison to that of my home city. Would definitely come here again if i ever cross and a great movie is playing. Btw, great staff. Show a great amount of professionalism. No complains.

Pros: Good movie choices, great seating, great audio / video, clean, appealing style, overall friendly staff. $5 movies on Tuesdays. Escalators! Cons: Parking is a pain, unless you use their private lot, which costs $3 to use all the time (used to have certain times it was free), or walk 2-3 blocks. Overpriced concessions, typical for a movie theatre but still; choices are also fairly basic, not much variation. Arcade is limited to a max of like 8 game choices and at least 1-2 have always been broken every time I went, usually different ones.

My daughter left her wallet there by mistake and we immediatly went back to the theatre a few minutes later, only to find out one of the cleaners already picked it up. They gave us a hard time getting it back and when we did she was missing $20 out of it. Her student id was in there showing she was in only 7th grade (the front is clear so they could see the id) and yet she was still missing things which is very sad that grown employees would steal from a child. The floor to the movie was also very messy. I dont recommend.

We watched the Movie "God Is Not Dead 2. It was a wonderful true story! We wondered why the Movie theater did not have it posted inside and outside the theater like other movies were posted? The theater was very comfortable. The staff was polite. They have an elevator for people with disabilities which i think is fantastic! They offer many food choices which is great but I think the pricing is a bit high. They do offer some discounts which is commendable! It was clean. All in all it is a very nice theater.

Go on $5 dollar day. NEVER go at night the kids are crazy... cant even watch the movie. Constantly fighting... Definitely find out about the deals with the pizza parlor next door worth it for a family unless of course its that crazy night with all the kids then Id forget it rent a movie on Xfinity instead and order a pizza way less grief. I should let you know as long as its rated R they have to be 17 if its PG-13 forget it youll never hear a word. I wish I was kidding but Im not.

The theater seats and screens are ok. The sound system is decent and the screens are clear. The theaters dont have enough prime seating spots so make sure to get there early for a new release or popular movie. Parking: you can park in the street or in the parking garage that is adjacent to the theater. I went for a late night movie one and on the way out the parking gates were open abs I did not have to pay. I dont know if that was a one time occurrence.

I frequent this movie theater as its close to home. Theaters are clean (yay!) and I havent had a bad experience with other movie-goers. I like the lobby area and the arcade is a nice way to spend a few minutes if youre early or waiting for a friend. The only real complaint I have is the concessions...that area can look unkempt and some of the signage needs to be updated. Parking is easy and convenient. Overall it is a great place to go and see a movie!

Their rewards program is a scam. I have 247 points but the only way to redeem them is with a coupon that prints when you buy a ticket or food. The catch is, the coupon never prints and none of the employees can help. This theater is not as nice as some of the others in the area (Montage, Dickson City). We kept going here because the rewards used to work. Without them there is no point in driving into down town Wilkes Barre.
