This is definitely NOT the movie theater to go to if you are spontaneously in the mood to see a movie. This theater ONLY sells assigned seats. So, in order to get a good seat for the showing you want, you have to purchase your tickets WAY in advance (i.e. online). Hubby and I showed up about 5 minutes before showtime and could only get first row, aisle seats. We figured, the seats cant be all that bad, otherwise the theater wouldnt sell tickets for those seats, right? We walk into the theater as the previews are about to start and notice that the whole theater is empty. We get to thinking that wed probably be able to move to a better seat at some point. Just before the lights go down, a whole stampede of people comes walking in. Everyone with the better seats bought them last night online and thus had no reason to show up until right as the movie was starting. The view from the very front row is absolutely intolerable. My husband, after watching a couple of the previews said that there was no way hed be able to tolerate watching the movie from his seat location. He couldnt believe that the theater would even have seats in such a horrible location and position. Oh, did I forget to mention that all of the seats are big, giant recliners?? Effectively reducing the seating capacity of the theater by a third?? Thus ensuring all showings are packed to the gils with no empty seats as buffers between couples and parties! I have been going to the movies for forty years and never had a problem with regular movie seats. Frankly, I think the recliners are just plain "stupid and reinforce the idea that we Americans are a bunch of fat, lazy slobs. Sorry, I am not up for reclining with my feet up with the balding, overweight man directly to my left. This theater also have the worst concession stand set up that I have ever seen. When you place your order at the counter, you are given an empty cup for your beverage and popcorn with no butter on it. The drinks and butter are self serve. So, there are multiple, chaotic lines all over the place at the concession stand- one line for persons purchasing their items, another line-up at the self-serve soft drink dispenser, and then a gaggle of people hovering around the self-serve butter dispensers. Thus, with all the self service going on, the concession area was very messy and I ended up with butter on my jeans and blouse (thats never happened to me before). I much prefer concession stands where you walk up, place your order, and then walk away back to your seat with everything you need. Not the multiple-line, self-service, mass confusion that was going on at this theater. Bottom line- limited seating capacity means all of the shows are packed and nearly sold out; assigned seating tickets eliminates spontaneity (you need to plan and purchase WAY ahead of time to get a decent seat); you WILL be sitting next to someone who will have his sandaled feet reclining up while he lays backward (might be a little distasteful to those with slightly more refined sensibilities) and the concession stand is a disorganized nightmare. I will purposely avoid going to this theater unless I absolutely have to... and then I would buy my tickets days in advance and sneak in my own refreshments. Big thumbs down, Ill stick with the Rave in Voorhees.

I was pleasantly surprised when entering the movie theater. I went late one night, on a whim, and was wary about trying out a new theater alone. I thought reserved seating was weird for an AMC theather as it immediately made me think of a Philadelphia theater whose reserved seating is the worst. Anyway the halls leading to the theater were well lit and people were very friendly. Once entering the theater it took a second to register the red recliners, but after a few seconds had passed, I decided that I liked it. Now, I did fall asleep halfway through the 3 hour movie, lol. Guess I was a little too comfortable! Overall, it was a nice experience. However, as mentioned in a previous rating, I wouldnt go last minute, or on opening night, if you want to avoid a cramped theater.

This is the best theater in the area! Cushy Seats...Fantastic Staff...Super Advanced Coke Machine! Do yourself a favor though, Join AMC Stubs when they ask or go online and do it...Fantastic benefits including free upgrades to next larger size (pay for a medium get a large), Waiver of the online reservation fee ( I still see people walk up to the window and expect to find 4 seats together with no reservation...DUH!)...and I get all kinds of coupons and other discounts texts sent right to my phone...and of course, you earn rewards for your ticket and snack purchases...Just Join Stubs thats all I can say

I was visiting from PASAAIC county and attended 11:40PM SHOWING OF CONJURING 2/I HAVE a few complaints;;;the air temperature was too hot ...there was no air conditioning on..also having the box office pick our own seats was very frustrating since we never did that before.3of us were sitting on other persons seats..we were first approached by the customers:::as we were getting up to switch, the customers left...three minutes later the customers came back with security and management.asking us to move..in my opinion this is very unprofessional for a $12.00 movie..........THANK YOU.Tim oconnor

This is the best movie experience I have ever had. Reclining seats are more comfortable than my couch at home, arm rests lift so you can cuddle with your partner, eat popcorn and watch the big screen. Employees are extremely nice, prices are competitive (cheaper than some theaters), popcorn is better (free refill with a large). Buy a "Stubs Card" - you accumulate "points" with each movie or purchase and it gets even cheaper! We go nearly every Friday - a great way to decompress after a tough week.

Love this theater. We go to this one and the one in Deptford, exclusively. Cant beat the seats! Good selection of food. We always buy our tickets well in advance...both online and at the theater on the way home from work. We especially like the sets of 4 seats together on the side, which is perfect for our family. Deptford only has sets of 2 seats on the sides...no biggie, since our kids are older. I wish these theaters were around when our kids were little!

Seriously the best movie going experiences I have ever had. Full size reclining chairs with plenty of room to recline. More than enough room for your arm even as a big guy I had no contact with the person sitting next to us. The chairs are in love seat pairs and the arm in the middle can lift up. There are more than enough cup holders. They also have the new Coke machines that let you pick from a list of sodas and add flavors.

This is the best place to watch a movie in the SJ/Burlington County area. The reclining seats make all the difference in the world. The price of the movies has continually gone up as the venue has gained popularity. That is the only thing keeping it from being 5 stars. This was a theater I figured would be gone at this point, but the renovation save it. Marlton 8 now thrives!

This is my favorite theater! Its smaller and easier to just go and get to your seat. I always try to see my movie here BECAUSE it has the oh so wonderful recliner seats! You also get to reserve your seat online when you purchase your ticket, so no guesswork about where to sit! Takes the stress out of getting to the movie and makes it a relaxing experience.
