Ive seen over 100 movies in this theater I must say it has not changed much since they opened as cinema 7. When I was in the 4th grade. The seats and interior is in desperate need of renovation. I tend to go to theaters in other towns now. But I always feel at home when I go there since I grew up right behind this place. They did get a big upgrade on there projectors a couple years ago and the new ones are fantastic. Too bad the seats are so old they are not bleacher style. Also the screens are a little small But like I said the new projectors look great on them. Once the lights go out and as long as there isnt a tall guy in front of you, this place is a great value. But I only watch new movies here now so I cant speak for all the projectors. I will say Im going to see Guardians of the Galaxy here today. But next week Im seeing Ninja Turtles in Columbus. Id really give it 3.5 stars now but Google doesnt use half stars so I rounded up.

Great Local / Family owned business. Please keep the Springfield tradition. Support this business! You people who write negative reviews seriously need to focus. Get a life? Its a conclusion thats not going to happen, but would be nice if some semblance may occur. Im not financially involved with this business whatsoever. No perks here. Simply a customer / consumer. Get a grip folks. There are a few more important things in life than bashing a company who is trying its best to provide entertainment. Out of the basement, off the cells, no txt/driving. BHO/HC failure. Figure out how to handle it. Life IS worth living. You might want to start getting used to it for the hopeful future of our children... GBA

On the plus side, this theater costs $2 or $3 less than you would pay at the Rave in Huber Heights or the Regal in Beavercreek (both about 20 minutes away). However, it is old and, as far as I can see, no updates have been made since I first went there 35 years ago. The seats are filthy. There are no cup holders. The floors are dirty and sticky. In the ladies restroom, some of the doors dont lock and there are absolutely no paper towels - just one ancient blow dryer that barely works. There is popcorn and dirt on the lobby floor. STRONGLY recommend you take your business elsewhere!

The mirror in the ladies bathroom is one of the best locations in town for selfies, even better then planet fitness. Employees always a fresh reminder of the joys of youth in not only America but springfield ohio. Once they offered me a free sample of diet pepsi. The interior inside the theatre offers an ambient environment perfect for any date from age 12 -72. The floor is always freshly squeaky just in case ninja assassins come up behind you during the film. I would never go anywhere else then chakeres cinema 10 except maybe chakeres cinema 5 (ps. Dont even get me started on 5) :}

They quite possibly have some of the dirtiest and gross theaters around. Their seats are absolutely disgusting. I would hate to see thing under some real light. Its a good thing they keep it dark. I feel like bugs are crawling on me when I have gone there. They offer nothing special and everything is out of date. They are like the Springfield mall. Continually going down hill and doing nothing to improve. I would rather drive an extra 15 minutes to a nice place.

I normally go to Huber Heights to go to the movie not Springfield Cinema 10 they overcharge nothing has changed at this theater in 10 years the floors are dirty I carry a bottle of alcohol in my purse because I keep hearing stories about bed bugs in the theater which I have yet to witness but for safety sake I keep that bottle alcohol on me at all times this theater is in desperate need of an upgrade bigger chairs would be nice electronic loungers would be nice

A classic movie theater gem thats resisted doing what everyone else is doing. The theater has stayed true to its original design thats nostalgic and is family owned and operated. The company has as rich of history as youll find amongst Midwest theater owners. Its the perfect size as more than 10 screens with the movie coming out of Hollywood now arent worth the space. The theaters capture the feeling I grew up with and its why I continue to go back.

Very expensive to sit so crammed up. The sad thing is rather than fix or upgrade this city would probably destroy rather than give us what we deserve. A fair priced comfortable safe movie experience linked to the old days. And oh yea Sheriffs profile you with the garbage of this town. Sorry I wore a jersey and some Maxs officer Im actually an honor student out with my daughter to see Beauty and the Beast

A rating of my experience, not the amenities. I appreciated the ticket price, the concession prices and the overall cleanliness of the theatre. The staff I had encountered were all very kind and professional. The seating was ample. No cup holders, but that isnt the end of the world. The sound was fantastic. There werent 500 advertisements prior to the movie. In and out.

Got a soft pretzel that they warmed up in a microwave. It tasted like rubber. We get into the theater and the seats were nasty and there was something sticky on all the arm rests to the point I had to put napkins on them to even put my arms on them. Will not be going back anytime soon Id rather drive to hilliard to watch a movie.

Enjoyed the movie, but had to wait outside in the snow and wind at about 35 miles per hour to get tickets . It would be very simple for them to move the ticket booth inside. Whoever designed that, should have to buy tickets ouitside while the patrons wait inside.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The restrooms smell and look awful, the floors are sticky. The whole place smells like must and shame. Nothing like I remember it being as a child. Hire someone to clean this place properly and it wouldnt be so bad!

The place needs a serious update! Nothing has been improved since the 1970s. Feels like I am walking and sitting on years of spilled popcorn! Afraid to sit near the walls... Who knows what is on them. Better to drive to Regal Cinemas!

It is dirty very dirty! The seats have no cup holders so you literally have to sit your drink on the floor which is beyond disgusting. Prices are no where near the quality of your experience. This should be a 2 dollar cinema.

This theater was built in the 1970s and is showing its age. However, you can see a movie and get a drink and popcorn for less than $20.00, and you dont have to drive a half hour ans fight Fairfield Commons traffic to get to it.

Not for movie fans... Or adults. Theaters are filled with chatty kids and no one seems to mind. If you are going to hang out with friends its probably not a bad place, but if you are trying to watch a movie, Id go elsewhere.
