Dont let the short holes deceive you, this is a very challenging course. This beautifully maintained course features hills and small challenging greens. Focus before you hit and do yourself a favor and walk up and look at the greens before you hit "at them". Play this course enough and watch your short game improve! Fun Fact: Orono public golf course was the first golf course in Minnesota to use GRASS for their greens. Before that folks putted on sand! I have heard (but have not confirmed) that the grass on these greens is the same grass as the greens at Wodhill Country club. Legend has it that "back in the day", the greens keeper at Woodhill used the Orono course as the experiment before they installed grass at Wodhill. again I have not confirmed this but it seems quite feasible. PLAY THIS COURSE you wont be disappointed.

Nice executive golf course. Very hilly. Nice grass, greens were a little long and slow, but not terrible and they were consistent. Very affordable

Well maintained and good design to the course - hills, small greens- but there are no yardage markers (hate that) and no part 5s
