Movies are sold here. What are movies? What if life was just a stage and our emotions are the actors. We disguise ourselves as someone we are not and shield ourselves under a fake body known as a smile. In Mario Bros 3 why is it a stage. I think it represents how all of our fear, goals, missions and enemies are just part of the play of life. But what is an actor, arent we all actors? I believe movies make us see these things, and pretend to be someone we are not. Can we be free from this mortal coil, only if you are Tom Hanks. It doesnt make any sense, but thats what they want you to believe. They want us to believe in the propaganda we watch. Each movie is just a stage, but are real life. When I tell my mom that a Chucky doll is in my attack, she tells me "it isnt real its just a movie". But what separates life from the fantasy. The screen, the glass, the uniform, the popcorn. At this theater movies wont scare you anymore. This theater is comforting and at the same time malicious with their popcorn prices. They literally want you to buy popcorn, its good but dont eat the whole large bucket during the previews like I did. The arcade games are a blast, I missed the ending to my movie because they are so addictive. Anyway I recommend the theater, just dont go in expecting a quick visit.

Regal Hudson is by far the worst experience you can get at the highest price possible. We have gone to this theater multiple times, but enough is enough. It is always very cold in the theater, and the screen is always out of focus, even after repeatedly alerting the staff. We just got finished watching Iron Man 2, and here is our list of complaints: 1. Tiny screen for a blockbuster movie on opening weekend! 2. Freezing cold in the theater, as always. 3. Screen out of focus, as always. 4. Dirty theater - piles of popcorn on the floor, nobody cleaning up. 5. Regal is the most expensive around according to Fandango. 6. Audio really screwed up: music was blasting loud, while voices were hard to hear. At several points it was like the speakers were overloaded, and the sound became extremely distorted with a "boxed in" effect. Thats it, enough with Regal Hudson! NO MORE! Unfortunately there is not much better. The seats are uncomfortable at Plaza Cinemas at Chapel Hill, and the audio is always too quiet at Regal Independence. Ill think well start driving up to Cinemark Tinseltown in Macedonia and pay a whole dollar less per ticket for an awesome experience.

As movie theaters go, this is a great option. Clean, friendly, safe and good quality. The staff is always friendly and its never that crowded. Ticket prices are standard for the area, though cheaper than some nearby Regal. They offer good deals on tickets and concessions, especially on Monday/Tuesday (yes, we all know concessions are expensive but thats how they make money--not on the actual movie). Theyll layer the butter throughout the popcorn, ask how much ice in your drink, and younger kids can have water or bring in milk if theyre too young for sodas. The audio and video quality arent your ultra HD but still great. Ive never had a sticky floor or dirty seat, and the bathrooms are always equally clean. I wish they participated in more corporate events like Sensory movie times or advanced screenings, but at least the do the Summer Movie Express.

On 3/10/17, I had one of the worst experiences ever at this theater. We went to see "Logan". The movie was great but the temperature in the theater was approaching arctic. It took several hours to reverse the effects of near term frostbite. An usher did come into the theater several times but it did not appear that this was an isolated event. Later that day, I went on to the Regal website to document the situation but I havent yet received any apology to this point. This is either a poor excuse for a website or a gross lack of concern about customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, I would have provided negative stars but the system forces me to award at least one star to be able to post a review.

I go here once a week, usually Mondays. Ticket prices are great during the day, $6.90. Food and drinks are extremely over priced, but youll get that with any theater/event, and to be honest going to a movie gets me out of my miserable life for 2 hours Im there, so Ill pay whatever I really dont care. The staff is friendly but they dont smile much, I dont either so its fine. 95% of the time its clean and comfortable. I love cinemark but this place isnt usually busy and close to my house, also seats are comfortable and screen quality is great. My only concern is when I do get there and nothing but popcorn and soda is ready to go. Ill happily continue giving this place my money.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Hudson regal was less than enjoyable. First of all, the service was very poor, I was Asked for my ID at the movie and Im 22. The staff is slow and have a bad attitude. Then the movie seats were large recliners that were too much for a movie theatre and I hated them. I also had to pick my seat at the ticket booth which was a huge pain in the ass. Overall, my experince here at Hudson regal was poor and I would never recommend going here, unless its free, even then I would not go this place is trash.

Maybe I really have a bad luck with that theater. I have been there two times in one week, but I never got a chance to see a movie inside. Power outage is that frequent in that neighborhood? At least if you decided to close for that night, you could put a sign on the door so that I dont need to knock the door for 10 minutes in the cold wind before someone came out and told me that the theater was closed due to the power outage.

This is a great local theater which provides first run movies convenient to a suburban audience. It is only 5-7 minutes from my house so at the last minute you can decide to catch a movie and get there. Many theaters are located in large shopping complexes which are often not conveniently located, this is the exception and deserves being supported. Seats are comfortable theater seems clean.

Concessions are ridiculously over priced and it was gross. The pretzel i got was stale and tasted like it had been there for a year.. Like really.... staff was crabby. Girl that rang me up was pushy and her demeanor was unfriendly. She didnt say anything rude but i got the impression she hated her job. Parking lot needs some SERIOUS TLC. Arcade sucks, prizes arent even worth the dollar to play.

In serious need of seating upgrades and a major makeover. Its a good, quiet theater though if I wanna stay local. I live only 5 minutes away and this is usually a decent place to go if Im running late and still wanna catch a movie. But it doesnt compare to the new Cinemark in Cuyahoga Falls or other theaters Ive used. Screens are very small.

Hudson is a high-end community. How Regal can get away with providing such a poorly designed theater is beyond me. Its small, uncomfortable and the sound quality sucks. I , like most Hudsonites will drive way out of my way to go to the movies rather than spend a ton of money here. How sad. Shame on you, Regal. Shame!
