I love this theater as a smaller, more intimate option to the bigger Tinseltown theater down the street. It should be a great theater and perfect location near the restaurants and bars for date night or a night out with girlfriends. It feels like a golden opportunity is missed because the Market Street theater plays mostly the same mass market, franchise movies also playing at Tinseltown down the street and, I think, those viewers prefer the larger theaters and "action" going on at Tinseltown. I wish, wish, wish Market Street would play mostly smaller Art House movies geared toward adults. All of the theaters in The Woodlands area play exactly the same movies. A little diversity and different options would be so nice! I really like this theater but feel it is missing its potential!

Great location. Not crowded. Clean. The reason I give it 2 stars is because of the concession. We placed an order for a frappe, soda, and popcorn. The cashier who seemed to be a manager (because he was wearing a suit. Instead of the typical employee attire) was pretty unwelcoming. No service with a smile. I probably said thank you like twice and No response back. He seemed bothered to even be at the register. We didnt take long with our order but seemed agitated when my boyfriend ordered his frappe. We got our items fine. Eveb tjiugh we were face ti fsce, i hineslty felt ignored the whole time. Honestly if management is where he belongs then keep him there and only allow customer friendly employees behind the counter. Other than that the rest of the visit was great.

This is a great little movie theater. They mainly show Indie films, but will also have a major release or two. We saw X-men on opening weekend and almost had the theater to ourselves. Didnt have to worry about sharing it with noisy teens texting throughout the movie. The seats are comfortable and the theater is very clean. The concession stand has the usual fare with the nice addition of smoothies and Starbucks frappuccinos. From the ground level of Market street you take an escalator straight to the theater. Also, there is convenient garage parking behind the theater with direct access to the entrance.

Excellent management and medium sized theaters. Pre-purchased tickets for a showing and got a call that one of the people attending with us got into a fender bender. The manager told us we could go to the next showing without exchanging tickets. When our friend arrived the manager asked him if he was okay and said he was sorry about the mishap. The theaters have plenty of seating for the volume of people that attend. There is far less traffic at this Cinemark than others in the surrounding area, which means more seating selections and a better theater experience.

This movie theater was horrible. I expected the service to be really great but instead it was terrible I was in line at the counter for 20 minutes before I got a small bag of popcorn. It made me late for my movie and I was 15 minutes early. I was very surprised and shocked I will never go to this movie theater Id rather spend my money elsewhere at a cheaper movie theater.

Love the fact that they show indie films other theatres do not. We went on a Saturday, 7pm, and there were no teenagers in site, which is why I avoid most theatres on the weekends. If you like good indie flicks and a more grown up atmosphere, this place is for you and you can go have a glass of wine next door at one of the many restaurants.

Nice theater. They have a good selection of movies. What I love about it is that they tend to show more small, indie, critically acclaimed films. The type of films I enjoy. 10 for adults when I went (1/1/16) Theres another cinemark across the street that shows bigger budget films that appeal to a large number of people.

Conveniently located, clean, tidy, and comfortable cinema, with polite and friendly staff. Steeply angled stadium seating for a great view, & an emphasis on sound quality rather than just loud noise that is otherwise found at many cinemas whose volumes are turned so loud that the audio clips with distortion.

this theater is not like its sister theater over by the mall. Its a miniature theater with limited screens. If you are looking for the big thrills other theater give then this is not your movie theater. The easy pay at the machine makes purchasing ticket fast. Staff here has always been tremendous.

What a great idea it was to put this movie theatre in the middle of Market Street! It is extremely nice to be able to catch a movie and then take a stroll around Market Street or stop for dinner somewhere--without having to drive anywhere else. We love going there and do so every chance we get!

Smaller theater than most mega cinemas these days. Seems to cater to more adult audience. Attached parking garage is nice. Good selection of snack options. Comfortable seating. Convenient to Market Street shopping and restaurants for a fun day.

Ive only been here once, but was impressed with the experience, cleanliness and size of the movie theater in general. I felt especially safe here after seeing a posted policeman between the theater and parking garage both on the way in and out.
