Cinemark Towson is known for its comfortable seating and reserved spots, making it a popular choice for movie-goers. However, it seems that the theater needs to address several issues related to staff behavior, food service, and overall customer service to maintain its reputation.

Ms. King is not fit to be a supervisor. Just like some others have said.. they started strong..but now its going downhill. Allowing the kids to hang around be totally obnoxious will turn this place to If proper standards are not straightened out in this theater, it will quickly go down as a great idea that turned into a disaster (like other short lived movie Cineplex in the MD area). I can understand hiring young teens/adults but what about management? My experience was totally discouraging! I arrived to the theater with 15 minutes to spare for our movie. Excited about the Reserve we decided to queue for food order. The 1st flaw was the 2 cashiers taking orders were too busy flirting with each other i waited a good 5 minutes before just walking up to place my order. Then surprisingly i was given a buzzer and was told i can return in 20 minutes (during my movie) to collect my food. To be sure i heard her clearly, i asked is the food being brought to me or am i leaving the movie theater to collect the food. And a fresh attitude i was told you’re coming to get it. So as not to spoil the mood of my out with my significant other i decided to just move on with our beverage & popcorn. As i was walking in, I noticed a supervisor (and bunch of other people) talking in the entrance to The Reserve. I believe politely i asked can i confirm your protocol for food ordering here? I explained my ordering and what i was told, and the supervisor says Go tell her that Ms. King said they should bring your order to you since we are not backed up. Cutting the story... why is a supervisor sending a customer to correct her staff?!?!?! What kind of nonsense is this?!?! No wonder your staff are weir-word, the supervisor has not ability to control her staff!!! Because being order to do her job she and 3 other patrons (perhaps her friends, being how cordial/relaxed she was - not to forget how reluctant was to help me smooth out the misunderstanding). Thanks to Ms. King (short light complexion African-American female with very low hair cut) my entire outing (which i paid hard earned money for) was destroyed. Cinemark please dont allow such a great establishment goes down the drain because of irresponsible staffs. The theater is not a hangout spot, nor a lounge for people to flock around the Reserved area to harass for picking up men or girls (most esp). Please do better.

I use to love this theatre but the last three weeks Ive been going to the movies on Tuesdays as treat/ date night. And I have to admit the Kettle Corn is what makes me drive from Randallstown to Towson instead of Owings Mills. But it appears I will have to return to Owings Mill, although I love the reserve seating and other benefits and upgrades Towson Cinemark possess. What they lack are individuals who hold themselves accountable. My fiancée and I have experienced some of the worst customer service weve ever been exposed to. Especially, in the snack area these individuals have no sense of urgency no matter what time weve gone there is never Kettle corn made so we have to wait which is fine but when you watch individuals slow foot around and take an additional 10-15 minutes to even start lets just say it can get you going. And dont make the mistake of asking about it because their feet really start dragging. And the clientele has gotten a bit rude, loud and obnoxious and when you speak to someone no one wants to assist. We literally had to ask individuals to please move out of our reserved seats. Its just ridiculous. I love this location but not at this expense of discomfort. Note to Towson Cinemark: Please step your game up in the service department youve made too much of an investment to make this theatre fabulous out ranking all other neighboring theatres. But they have yall beat with providing stellar customer service on any given day.

Towsons Cinemark theater was one of my all time favorite places to go for cinema experience until a rat ran in front of me while in attendance for Detroit last week. I immediately left the theater and advised the manager. She advised that they had been having issues with mice due to construction but that she did not think it could have been a rat. Unfortunately, I do not believe a mouse would grow to the size of the pest that ran in front of me. I let her know this and she stated they could be eating good. She gave me 6 guest passes to compensate me for my troubles but no refund. Keep in mind that two reserved seats are $40. My date for the evening also saw the rat and before seeing it actually felt something around her leg but thought it may have been her jacket. I am saddened by this because Cinemark has the best Black bean burger and sweet potato fries in town. It is also a very classy and enjoyable experience and great for a date. I just dont think I can ever return because I would be worried about something crawling on me or my belongings in the dark. Keep in mind that out of my many times there, this was my first unenjoyable experience and my first time seeing a rodent. If you dont mind the possibility of a mouse or rat appearance then you will love reserved seating. I truly hope they get this issue resolved so that I can return.

PLEASE FIX THE PARKING VALIDATION NONSENSE...This was the second time going to this theatre and both times I was unimpressed. Let me start by saying I liked the actual seat in the theatre it was super comfortable!...thats about it. Both times that i have been there i have parked in the parking garage...seems like a convenient idea until you try and get your parking ticket validated and pay for parking at the ONE kiosk inside the theatre...the kiosk is extremely difficult to understand and the wait is ridiculous because each person waiting in line has to go through the learning curve of exactly how to work the kiosk...tonight they had an employee standing at the kiosk to help things along but it still soured my experience again! When Im done seeing my movie I want to goto my car, get in and drive home not wait in more lines before I can even leave the building. Hopefully this bad review will spark some action by the management to put a fix in place. The ticket prices are already higher than other movie theaters nearby and I feel like its an extra kick in the balls to have to stand in line to pay for parking.

This is a beautiful theater. I have visited with my husband and this was the first time with my children. I love the reserve seating: having seats and not having to rush just to watch commercials, you get a free large popcorn with each ticket and the seats are so comfortable. Especially with children its nice to have a chair that sits flat and doesnt pop up. The walkway in front of the seats gives enough space that you can get up and you arent climbing on top of other movie goers. the bathrooms were clean. My daughter remarked that she loved the trays; it gave her a place to rest her hands and to hold her snacks. I like that they bring food to your seat-again another fantastic convenience when with children. I took one star away because when my (and my moms) food was delivered the fries were cold. The movie was about to start and I honestly didnt feel like missing the movie to complain over fries. For 4 people it was 50$ for tickets and we spent about 40$ for food. I live around the corner from the Avenue and would still prefer to drive to Towson, pay to park and pay for the convenience of this theater.
