I went to see Predators July 9 about late afternoon. The place was understandably crawling with summer school kids/families. As such, a lot of the big family movies showing Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, Twilight sold out during the 5mins I and my bro were in line for the entire days shows!? We lucked out by being over 18, seeing a rated R movie, and having two in our party instead of an army of hormones. The manager came out as we were standing in line to announce in person that the family flicks for the day were sold out and he apologized. That was super cool of him, given that the same info was scrolling across the billboard updates. The theater is not a movie superplex, yet its not a small dollar flick movie theater; its just about average size and had all of the latest releases for pop culture movie goers. The bathrooms were acceptable, the place was clean and tidy, which was expected being a new venue. The bar outside of the theater seemed to well stocked with your standard selection of adult beverages and mixers. The seating inside of the theater were a bit of office boss chair feeling. Which wasnt bad and I guess theyre easier to sanitize and clean than the typical stadium plush seats fabric feel that catch every germ, hair, bug, sticky stuff patrons bring with them from every part of the world to your one theater seat. The food came super quick after ordering. The food was/is overpriced for the taste. I could have gotten the same meal at Chillies, The Flying Biscuit, etc for a better taste and at a quarter of the price, if not half the price. Oh, and they serve Pepsi. It was no Coke yet, I was satisfied. Youll be paying no less than 10 to 13bucks for the meal and $2 for beverages. The specialty mixed drinks were another $10 a pop and the desserts were about 3 to 4bucks on average. There is plenty of leg room, lots of seating for this type of theater set up. The sound quality was on par with your premium AMC/Regal (not including IMAX), yet the picture quality was nothing to love, however, it didnt detract from my overall movie enjoyment. You should/would expect to hear crunching, lightly clanging of silverware as people dine, and general conversation during the movie from this type of movie theater. So, if youre a Netflix or Hulu lover because you hate that people no longer have a common sense of civility when they attend a movie, play, ballgame, etc like I am; then, you should only experience this type of dinner and a movie occasion only once in your life. Otherwise, I was awesomely surprised by how courteous, respectful, and quite people were during this good action flick. Conversely, when I visited Fork and Screen for Iron Man 2, the crowd was ballpark rowdy. But, it was an action flick were viewing and was completely acceptable atmosphere at a dine and movie place. Btw, Fork and Screens food price and quality is only slightly better, but, Applebees/Chillies could teach both venues a thing or two. I enjoyed Studio Movie Grill and will attend again this year with friends, but not often as a regular movie hit up spot.

I did the Muvico experience in South Florida and loved it. So I was very excited about this theater opening. We paid $22.50 for our tickets two weeks in advanced, so we could have reserved seating for Twilight Eclipse. When we arrived to the theater, we were told that someone else (who paid $9.50 and arrived that evening) was sitting in our seats. Fifteen minutes later, we were still standing at the front. We were told that the other customers refused to move and as such they were still in our seats. The employee told us that the manager was asking them to move. Two minutes to showtime, we went into the theater, found the manager and tried to find out what was going on. The manager was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. He let us reserve seats for the next showing (about 45 minutes later) and provided us with appetizers and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks until showtime. Instead of theater style chairs they are using office desks chairs. Every time a person next to you moves their chair, your chair gets bumped. They serve drinks and food through out the movie -- so people are constantly walking in front of you. They deliver the check fifty minutes before the end of the movie. They asked my friend during the movie to please go ahead and pay her check. They also turn on the lights about 5 minutes before the end of the movie (which was annoying for me). They were already out of so many of their alcoholic drinks because they had not ordered enough mixers. I did try two appetizers the Parmesan fries and spinach dip. Both were okay and what Id expect at a place doing so much volume. The alcoholic drink menu was great. I would like a simple concession to purchase other movie theater snacks such as gummi bears or milk duds. Instead I ordered Hot Chocolate Chip Cookies and Ice Cream which you cant mess up. The lettuce in my friends salad was frozen and my friends all had pizza, The pizza did not look appetizing -- but I did not try it. Surprisingly, youd order a drink or some food and it would be at your table within minutes. As our movie was about to start four woman walked in. It seemed that someone had taken their seats as well. Okay, so final review -- it would depend on you personally. Would you mind the interruptions or would prefer to be undisturbed during a movie? The management, computer system, employees seem to have many kinks to still work out. I would recommend not going to any movie on opening night for a while and I would not recommend seeing any movie there for at least a month. I will not be returning.

Updated review. Management did respond to my complaints with Free VIP passes to return for another movie. We attended a movie with Dinner and had a much better experience. Improvements were made and service was much more prompt. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I emailed the local management and the home office concerning this experience and received no reply so I am now posting for others to read. I attended the 7:50 showing of "Dinner for Schmucks". My wife and Daughter accompanied me on this first visit to your location. We were all excited and had been wanting to do this for weeks. I believe you have a great concept with a much potential, however our experience if replicated by other will surely see you out of business very soon. The facility and movie were awesome, but the food service and employees have significant room for improvement. We arrived to our reserved seats about 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the previews. Our orders for dinner were taken quickly by the staff. All was going well up to that point in time. I received my Diet Coke in about 15 minutes and my Wife and Daughter received no drinks. I had to use the pager and ask when they would receive their drinks. Ten minutes later their drinks arrived. Approximately forty-five minutes after placing our order, the entrees for my Wife and Daughter arrived, but no food for me. I was patient and waited another ten minutes and finally paged for a staff member. A person arrived and I explained my dilemma and frustration. His response was "We are busy" I just about lost it at that point. I told him "Busy" is his problem not mine. I would think that "Busy" is what you need to remain profitable all the time. I told him to just go and find my food. I ended up receiving my food order one hour and twenty minutes after the order was placed. To add to my frustration, the side order I received was incorrect. I did not dare ask for that to be corrected. A staff member arrived near the end of my dinner and tried to serve our entrees to us again. Apparently the kitchen prepared our orders twice. We declined and sent the food back to the kitchen. Sir/madam, I can only say good luck and I hope you address these issues soon. I really want to see you business model succeed, but based on my experience... I have some strong concerns.
