My girlfriend and I love the AMC theatres, especially the dine in theatres... However our experience last night was very bad. We went to see finding dory at 9:30, our waitress went around to the left side to see if they needed anything to start with.. We were on the right side and she only did one side at a time. 20 minutes into the movie she finally comes around and we order waters. A different woman brought our waters about 10 minutes later and then we decided to press our buttons to order some food. I pressed mine and waited 15 minutes and still had no service so my girlfriend pressed hers and 15 more minutes later our waitress comes up and takes our order. At this point we are an hour into the movie, about 20 minutes pass and we get our check from a different waitress; MIND YOU we have YET to get our food. We waited to pay until we are so about 15 minutes later we finally get our food.... The movie was almost over. Maybe 10 minutes left of the movie. Our waitress came to collect the check and told us she had a lot of other theatres and told us about an employee who spilled drinks over customers and just got sent home and was probably getting fired, like we cared!!!!! I get being busy and swamped but she shouldve asked for some help. We wanted to complain but by the time the movie ended there wasnt much staff around because it was about 11:30 and I wouldnt know who to call about it today. My girlfriend and I always go to the dine in theatre for our date nights and have a blast, but last night was just awful and makes us not even want to return in fear of that happening again. Up until last night I wouldve given a 5 star rating and the only reason there are 2 stars is because of previous experiences.

My girlfriend and I called in to reserve seats repeatedly as the employees did not answer the phone. After reserving the seats, we were told to call a few days prior to the event to confirm. In doing so, we were told they were all sold out and that they didnt reserve us seats. I proceeded to ask for a manager. The manager found us seats in the front row of someone who cancelled and told us to ask for him when we arrive. When we arrive at the theater I ask guest services to speak to the manager: she rudely replied, "Its too busy, do you really need the manager? We dont have time for that." I was astonished that an employee would refuse a customer the right to speak with a manager. Once the manager comes to the desk, he stands there and looks around and does nothing. I figure hes the manager and I walk up and introduce myself. He was nice enough and got us our seats. I then go to the bathroom to find out that every single toilet will not flush and the sink is broken. We get into the theater and press our button to wait for a waiter: he doesnt show up until about 20 minutes. We place our order and wait an hour for our food to arrive cold. Due to this though, they did give us two free guest passes. At the end when we went to pay for our food, their card machine wasnt working. Good news is that we didnt have to pay for the food, but bad news is that their machine wasnt working either. All the people were quite nice and helpful, but it was poorly run and doesnt have good service.

I was in town for my first visit to Columbus. My weekend was great, but marred by poor service at this theater. My sister decided to take me to a movie since I had not been to a theater in over 10 years. We were excited to see the movie and spend time together. Although the theater itself was well kept, the seating was wonderful and the movie itself was well presented, our initial enounter left a poor impression of the theater overall. We met some friends and quickly got our tickets with time to spare. Since this theater had a bar, we decided to get some drinks for the movie. We ordered 5 simple drinks. Having been a bartender, I knew that these drinks should have taken approximately 5 minutes (or less) to make. 30 minutes later we received our drinks. Because of this poor service we were finally able to enter the theater at 10:50 for a 10:30 viewing. Unacceptable! Some may try to defend the bartender for whatever reason. The reason for the poor service was his inability to focus on his job. He spent most of the time in conversation with a group of his friends. The reason we knew they were acquaintances of his is because of the conversation. We heard it all. Even when we tried to get his attention, he couldnt be bothered with us. Once he served our drinks, there was no apology nor explanation for the delay. If you want to enjoy a movie in comfort, this is the place. If you expect to have a drink, order it on Thursday afternoon for your Saturday night movie.

I attended this theater twice in the last week, I have never been here before. The first experience brought me to Sticky tables, sticky menus, and a spill on the seat. Food was amazing however it took us 40 minutes to get our drinks. I understand cooking takes a while with a lot of people. But drinks shouldnt take that long. We were never visited again until the bill was brought out. Checked six different bottles of ketchup all empty. Not much of an apology and $5.50 for a glass of pop its high. The second experience was a little better tables were clean menus were still very sticky. Food again was amazing came up quick as well as drinks. Thought maybe it was a fluke until the bill came I was overcharged. Told the server I was overcharged and wanted it fixed. She said ° I will fix it before I run your card". Me being stupid trusted her. She brought the black book back charge me for exactly what was on the first ticket and never came back again for me to let her know it still needed fixed. I then took the black book into the hallway and ask for a manager where I got a very poor apology and felt I was wrong for taking the book out of the theater. What else was I to do nobody came back. Probably will not eat if I ever go back to this movie theater. Just because the service, the food was amazing both times.

We ordered tickets ahead of time with other friends bur when we got there, our seats were taken by people that had the same seats. Their tickets were for the day before. Our food that we ordered got to us out of the order and was cold by the time we got to eat it and by then it didnt matter. We had already missed 30 minutes of the movie. So instead of letting the people that were in our seats enjoy the rest of the movie, they kicked them out. Now although these people made the mistake of coming on the wrong day, someone had to let them in for them to get those seats. Now there are a whole bunch of people ticked off. The manager was gracious about it but the damage was already done. We wont be back there or any other AMC theatre. The most terrible experience Ive had in a long time. The people in our seats should have been flagged before they even made it to the seats. Poor computer programming allowed this. Poor website planning also allowed us to buy tickets that did not let us know that we would have to buy and carry our meals to our seats instead of having our food ordered and brought to us at our seats. Poor ordering procedures kept people from getting their food in a timely manner and in the time frame it was ordered. A whole lot of mistakes were made which made this experience one large FAIL.
