MJR Partridge Creek Digital Cinema 14 is known for its digital screening capabilities and is considered one of the better theaters in the Detroit Metro area. It competes closely with Emagine theaters in terms of quality and pricing. The theater also offers a rewards program that is free to sign up for and provides various benefits, making it a popular choice for regular movie-goers.

So this was our first time at the new MJR with the wonderfully cushy seats but we didnt know you had to choose your seats so there were 2 adults with 2 kids, 8 and 9 and we couldnt sit together because of choosing the seats. We werent told that the seats we choose werent even close to each other, the kids were in an upper level and the adults on the lower. Luckily there was an extra seat next to us the the kids shared a seat, but because people were in when wrong seats the ushers were disrupting people during the beginning of the movie to find seats for people. What happened to first come first serve? How early do you have to get to the theater to see a movie these days. It was a very unpleasant experience and I always loved the MJR theater but I dont think Im gonna go back. Although things ended up ok, the beginning was so unpleasant and we all missed the beginning of the movie which all in all cost us about $80. Too bad Partridge Creek, just let people sit, assigned seating in a theater is rediculous

Even though the theater is located in prestigious Partridge Creek Mall, it felt very low class. We approached the ticket counter and there was water raining down on the back counter. There were no buckets or pails set out and the water was landing on radio battries still charging on a dock. Nobody had even tried to move anything. We advised the ticket girl who didnt care and it appeared like just mentioning it agitated her . Ok, then we made our way to theater #3 which had a faint moldie smell, probably a leak in there as well I was happy to see the new style reclining seats but two hours into the movie they were painful to sit in. The neck cushion was to thick that it kept your neck pushed forward in an uncomfortable position. It did not help that the movie (Detroit)was also unbearable. For the $22.00 movie plus $15.00 popcorn it was a horrible experience.

MJR is great. Go in the morning (if possible) during the week or weekends and save a lot of money! Most morning shows are between $4.25 (before noon) and then $5 through matinee. The vending is relatively cheap and they have a great rewards program. It is possible to receive free popcorn, pop, or a movie with every three or four visits. The theaters are all digital, clean, and well kept. The only place in the Detroit Metro area better than MJR, in my opinion, would be the Emagine theaters. Their prices are also very reasonable, the theaters are clean and digital as well, but most importantly the seats ROCK. What theater you visit really depends on your location. Either way, they are both good bets.

The MJR is always a good experience and taking part in their rewards plan has yielded lots of freebies. Last night had two free tickets, two free medium drinks and two free medium popcorns. Made it a great date night with the wife. It was my first time in their new reclining seating which was nice. Not as roomy as the seats at the Engine but still very comfortable. I dont mind the assigned seating. Going here is always a good experience and a much better value over AMC. Also liked that they have the new Pepsi drink dispensing machines.

Nice clean theatre with very comfortable seats. The armrests flip up if you wanna cuddle up to the significant other. As with most theaters these days popcorn and colas for two will cost as much as admission. The theatres themselves are decent size but fill up quickly when premiering a hyped new movie. Staff is friendly. They offer a rewards card that gets you an occasional free beverage or popcorn. One of the nicest theaters in the area!

MJR sold my family, wife and 2 children under 6, tickets for a movie. While entering the movie we were informed we are not permitted to watch the movie because our children are under 6 after 6 oclock. Didnt matter we are the parents which are capable of deciding what our children are allowed to watch or the fact that they already sold us tickets. I will NEVER go back to this theatre!

I dont go anymore since I no longer have a car but I used to go a couple times a week and it was a great experience. Loved going really early to get the cheap prices and everyone was super friendly. A couple years back I went to a midnight showing of a very popular movie and was very loud and crowded and they handled that great. Always have a great movie going experience.

Someone gave a review of the wrong MJR cinema location but This Partridge Creek location lets you pick your own seat before purchasing tickets and then you enjoy your movie in very comfortable power recliners. The candy and drinks are over the top in price, I always bring box candy from the store otherwise we can t afford to go. Thats why 4 stars.

Best MJR hands down I travel miles just to come here I love the seats and the staff is very nice and friendly and if you chose the seats right you wont be so close to other ppl if the section is green it means someone is sitting there so chose the section that is not green that way you wont sit so close to people if you dont want to

This movie theater is an excellent establishment, the interior is new and pristine. Staff is usually friendly and accommodating. Comfortable seating with a generally good audience, respectful to you and your surroundings. During busy nights for sold out shows, they may assign seating. (Be sure to buy your tickets ahead).

Seating was very impressive. We went for an afternoon movie and I was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the seating and the amount of room allocated for the aisles. You do not have to struggle to get to your seat, or deal with an uncomfortable seat. It is like watching a movie in your easy chair at home. I love it.

Great theater in a great location. MJR does a great job of making going to a movie fairly affordable, definitely better than AMC. I also like their rewards card that is free to sign up for and i have gotten plenty of free stuff with it, definitely worth a look. Clean facility and kind staff, not much more i could ask for.

Seats are very uncomfortable, no real food, popcorn was blah! Cold and tasted like it was old. Employees not to sociable and no smiles at all and I also felt like I was back in the late 70s,early 80s asking for your tickets at the front entrance . Went there with my kids, we try it and didnt like. Wont be going back.

The reserve seating is not good. Most people were in the wrong seat and ushers changing them in the middle of the movie. If your going to have assigned seating have ushers direct them to their seats thats how is should be done. Will not go back there

Theif Working Here. If you leave your Wallet or Waitress Binder there is no Honest People Working Here. My Poor Daughter lost $300. Had to be Clean up Crew or the Manager, cause they found the Binder, but amazingly No Money!

Best theater in Macomb County. New construction, state if the art digital picture and sound. Early show ticket prices are a bargain at $5. Concession prices much more reasonable than AMC. Its more fun at MJR
