I dont usually like writing complaints but I thought I should share my last few experiences at the Sparks theater. The theater has seemed especially dirty especially around the concession stands where people get their food. The ledge above the counter is covered in dust and grease as well the light fixtures that are above the counter, clearly these areas are not being cleaned on a regular bases. This last weekend (7/9/17) when I went to see the new Spider-Man movie our theater was absolutely disgusting, I arrived at my seat about 5 minutes before the show was suppose to start (10:30pm) showing, and the floor was covered in popcorn, their was trash sitting in our seats still, and the broom and dust pan were left out leaning against a wall. The food at the theater both times has been exceptionally sub par, the popcorn tastes cheap and old with very little flavoring, or is burnt and un-eatable, the hot dog or sausage has had no flavor, the nacho chips taste like cardboard and the cheese is just warm tasteless goo. The food is definitely not worth the $32 that I spent, especially when I can spend less at Gramaldis and get 1000x better food. My first few experiences were fantastic, but the last few have left me wanting my money back so I can go spend it else where. Doubt Ill be spending any money at this theater again and wont be recommending anyone do the same, unless the standards are picked up big time.

Im giving them one star because thats the only way I can submit a review. I went to see a movie and the gentleman at the ticket booth double sold our seats so when we got into the theater there was already a couple sitting in our spot, when I asked to speak to someone about the situation the Usher took my tickets and didnt believe that our seats were double-booked. When I ask to speak to a manager the Usher had an attitude as a customer service representative even though you are and Usher you should not have an attitude with the customer because the mistake was not our fault, once I was able to speak to the manager the manager asked to see our tickets and said where they purchased today of course they were purchased today otherwise we wouldnt have been there and I wouldnt be asking for a refund, the manager did not once look me in the face or even apologize for the double booking of the tickets she told the gentleman in the ticket booth to refund our money for the tickets. The manager was very unprofessional she should have apologized for the double booking of the tickets and also when tickets are purchased it should be logged in the system so that way they are not double booked.

I was a regular here until I was told by management that, "That thing (points at my leg) and your bag are not allowed in here!" The (thing) referred to was my sidearm. Nevada is an open carry state and I am, by law, allowed to carry all places save a few (Schools, Federal buildings, etc...) reference NRS 202.265, NRS 218A.905. I am a lifetime NRA member and avid about second amendment rights. Now for the second point of contention, my bag, which in all honesty pales in comparison to the first matter. Why is it a woman can carry a purse, defined as a bag by EVERY dictionary referenced online, but a man (who is clearly riding a motorcycle) is denied entry because he has a bag? Because I am on a motorcycle I carry a bag with additional gear for different atmospheric conditions. They did not even ask if they could look in the bag. It simply no get out so to speak. Needless to say I will not come here again! It is a shame because the theater is very nice.

LOVE THIS THEATER!!!! WONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! Love everything about this theater. I would have to say the 2 best things are they serve alcohol, which is nice to enjoy a drink while watching a movie and the seats that recline. Being someone who is disabled with a bad back thought I would never be able to go to the movies again because the seats were so uncomfortable. First time my husband(was our 2nd or 3rd date at the time) brought me here was really nervous that I was going to be in pain once the show was over. Was very pleasantly surprised when I sat down and reclined the chair. Will NEVER go to any other theater. Also, I was really surprised that tickets are only a couple dollars more than other theaters. Would gladly pay more since I am so happy to be able to see movies the way I love to, on the big screen with a big tub of popcorn, a huge warm pretzel, and an adult beverage, with my husband and, sometimes, the kids.

Great theater! BUT - if you are looking to get the recliner seats (which is pretty much the whole reason for going here) you need to see a Regular or a 3D Atmos movie. The actual IMAX movies do not have the reclining seats. I dont know why they dont put this info on the website! We paid so much money for a 3D IMAX movie, only to find the didnt have the recliners in any of the big IMAX theaters. Anyways, mostly good experiences all around, except for the 1 time they overbooked, which we discovered after buying a bunch of food - and we had to get a refund. It was a tremendous run-around, and it was their fault for the double booking. Their Cust Service could use a few improvements. They have a yummy hot dog / sausage bar, where you can choose your own toppings. I suggest the jalapeno dog with mayo, onions and bacon & a glass of merlot!

By far the best theater in the region, by leaps and bounds. The IMAX theaters are phenomenal, well laid out, and assigned seating is great. The non-Imax theaters have recliners with wrap over trays and are super comfortable. Snack bar has both the standard set up, and also a bar with beer & wine and some additional food items that you dont get at normal theaters. Great selection of snacks and drinks. But the best part about this location? The staff. I dont know his name, but theres an older gentleman that does most of the "introductions" for the new movies, and he is both funny and very good at his job. The rest of the staff is on top of things, the place always seems very clean and well taken care of. Also, having been to all the theaters in town multiple times, I can honestly say that they have the best popcorn overall.

Great place, but the concession lines are pretty ridiculous. The cashiers should have a light up sign to notify guest when they are free or something. The keep screaming and most of us cant hear. Feel pretty bad for them. Overall its awesome. We go here for any favorite upcoming titles. Like Wonder Woman and Spiderman. Love the pretzels and the popcorn. The seats and the surround sound are the best. I dont like 3d, but thats because wearing them when you already have glasses is a little irritating. The atmos theater is where its at for me. The people that go are chill too. They dont disrespect the others around them. I will say a lot of pop corn can be found under the recliners so be weary and try not to drop your phone down the cracks! Other than that enjoy the experience.
